Ill be around to help answer any questions tomorrow. I refined the first post once again.
Some clarification on a couple things:
SOUND LEVELs:
Some are saying they are perfect, too loud, or even too soft.
The only solution that makes sense is for the user to make those changes.
This can go back to how sound systems are set up. Surround sound, 5.1, DTS, even a xbox 360/ps3 discrepancy. Whatever it is that you may have, the fix is on you.
Using the new file option #1 or the new option #2/3 (formerly ps3 #3):
You can use the following program to get the tracks fixed up in less than 15 minutes
(I mention new file option #1 or the other file option because mp3gain can only recognize certain types of mp3s.)
-Do a track analysis, and if you know you want the tracks to be louder, raise the dB level just a bit and see how it goes.
This entire process is much harder for those that rip cd-r's, but thats just the way things are
Troubleshooting WMP:
-Sometimes the library gets clogged with playlists and songs that it needs to flush out. I noticed last night that I had playlist names for tipoff tracks but NOTHING was inside of them in my game. They played just fine on my computer. A clean flush did the trick
-On your computer running WMP, go to the library and delete all of the songs/playlists from your library.
-Then go to TOOLS.. OPTIONS.LIBRARY.MONITOR FOLDERS, and checkmark Add files previously deleted. and it should refind all of your files

Bigchris67, sounds like a weird issue. Did you troubleshoot back to the dashboard to see if those songs sound okay? what about back on your computer or through an ipod?
tariqosuave, Are you streaming? I havent found a sound file type that the xbox 360 can't stream? Tracks just wont instantly pop up or go into a playlist. make sure you have added the new songs into playlists where you want it.

rrussell50, In regards to team by team REAL LIFE playlists, you may not even use 80% of the tracks if you go that route. Half the NBA teams use I Gotta feeling by black eyed peas for tipoff and Welcome to the Jungle. There is no variety in the NBA. Very few venues have that unique feel. Getting just those songs will be HARD as heck.
But I will provide you with past game playlists for various NBA TEAMS:
The Twolves alone had over 100 long tracks used throughout the year. So even if you hear one song during one game, it may mean very little in the scheme of things.
Just something to think about.
