While I'm not a big advocate of reviewing companies like IGN, when they give any game a 9.5, let alone a sports game!! I have to take notice. I cant wait to get this game, I havent been this hyped since ncaa basketball 10 released.

I said this many years ago, them 2kboys aint no joke! I have noticed since back in the days of Dark Lord Vader and others (they were nfl 2kfootball players) that 2k has always listened to the fan base, even when you didn't think they were.

The one thing I often run through my mind is, for those that don't know, they did football better than basketball! Can you imagine what nfl 2k11 would look like?! Man, it kills me to think about it. Anyway, congrats fellahs, job well done!

this game gets the recognition it deserves.

I expected it to get a 9. Most you can ask for from a non-sports gaming website really.

But 9.5! trust me gents, it truly deserves it. Best Sim sports game i've ever played. A 9.5 from IGN will put it in the running for GOTY, but beating ME2, RDR, Halo : Reach, and Fallout New Vegas is going to be a tall order.

I can't believe a sports game got a 9.5. Pretty sure it would be higher if not for the new rating system.
