Noo, in my knicks association chandler is a very good ball handler, him and ariza are quite good, batum has a decent 3pt, chandler is a slashing type but can shoot the 3, ariza same as chandler.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I'll have to see who I have to give up to get Chandler. Never saw him or any of those guys as really good ball handlers. If anything I always thought that being able to create their own shot off the dribble has been a weakness of all those guys. I havent really looked at the ratings and cant right now as Im at work.Comment

The Bulls may be the best team in the game. I just simmed about 7 years with everything set to auto and won the league in 2010, 2012, 2015. Rose won 2 MVP. So you may not like Noah et. al but they can definately win in the association modeComment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
So to keep it real I felt a change was needed after the 1st season where they finished as the 7th seed and were bounced by MIA in the first round.
Dont get it twisted, Noah's my favorite center in the league right now.
The guy is a hustler and a proven winner.
Never liked Boozer since he bolted Cleveland. Plus Im a UNC fan!
Griffin is quickly turning into my favorite player to watch outside of LBJ so I can deal with losing Noah and Booze if that means having Blake.
Rose and Griffin will be a deadly pick and roll combo for years to come in my association.
Gonna try to do something even Jordan's Bulls couldnt do: win 4 in a row!
(They probably would of won 8 in a row if MJ didnt retire though)
Cant wait to play my first game when I get off of work!Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
McGrady was not happy with his minutes on Detroit, even though I played him a lot off the bench. So, I traded him to Chicago for Taj Gibson with hopes that Greg Monroe and him become the future bigs for my team.Comment

McGrady for Taj Gibson doesnt seem very even if it was straight up.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I'm not sure, I threw in a second round pick with him and was kind of surprised when they accepted it. Maybe they were valuing the importance of a SG too high. McGrady is a 76 and Gibson is a 72 in my roster, if that matters.Comment

Pistons are probably the toughest team to build right now. Alot of aging players with bad contracts. I dont know what Dumars was thinking when he signed Gordon and Villanueva to those large contracts.Comment

I can see it... its not lopsided but a very good trade for your Pistons. Monroe has a long way to go before he becomes a true starter.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Not sure if this belongs in this thread since you guys were talking about Chicago, but I started a Wizards association with real 2kinsider's rosters/tendencies.
The only trades I've done so far:
Indiana gets
Javale McGee (C)
2011 2nd round pick
Washington gets
Roy Hibbert (C)
I wasn't liking McGee at all. He wasn't that good on the glass and his free throw line performance was subpar at best. Time to go McGee. I've been pretty pleased with Hibbert's performance thus far, although he has gotten into a little foul trouble lately.
Just curious but, could I have done better on this trade?Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Sitting at 6-5 after just beating the (then) 10-2 Grizzlies with the Wizards. I started the season 0-4, but have since made a nice little comeback.
First half, 51-46 Grizzlies. 3rd Quarter, nothing is going for me and they were hitting everything late in the quarter. With 1 minute remaining in the 3rd, it was 78-56. But at the end of the 3rd, John Wall gets an outlet off the rebound, pushes it and nails the buzzer beater 3, 80-61 Grizzlies. In the 4th, I start to comeback, and leading the charge is Al Thorton (he hadn't played until this point). It's only a 4 point Grizzlie lead with 6 minutes to go, i.e. massive comeback. With strong play from Thornton I take a 94-90 lead with 3 minutes left. Thornton checks out, and Rudy Gay hits 2 jumpers over Rashard Lewis. So with a minute left and the score tied, I put Thornton in the game. We exchange possessions and then with 30 seconds left I call a timeout. Thornton milks the clock, drives, stepback, fadeaway, swish over Rudy Gay. I won the game 98-94 and in 9 minutes, Thornton had 18 points and a +27 +/-.

Anybody have any tips on how to use Kirk Hinrich? Off the bench, he's shooting under 30%, 4.5 PPG, and 2 APG in 25+ MPG.Purdue Boilermakers
