He also signed with the Nets in my Cavs 'chise. They are now currently at the #2 spot after 10 games.

year 1 of my Bulls chise, 6-4 so far.

only trade i made was sending kurt thomas and my first round to the jazz for Gordan Heyward and a 1st round. Gonna develop him to a good 3 point shooter so i can unload korver's contract.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Finally found some Sliders and a Roster that I like so I have settled into an Association that I'm sure to stick with.

Being from the Kansas City area, I don't really have a team. So I decided to run with the Wizards. John Wall was easily the deciding factor.

The only player I picked up from FA was SG Kareem Rush (Gotta have a Mizzou player on my team). He will mainly be a reserve but I like having him around. Other than that, I didn't make any trades or big signings at the beginning of the season. I like to wait a little while before making any changes...unless of course I have injuries.

I lost my first two games against Orlando and Atlanta which was to be expected. Then I came out and got my first W of the season against Philly and followed it up with another win vs the Knicks. I really lucked out in the Knicks game because I couldn't stop Stoudemire but I made it a point to get him into foul trouble and then Blatche had a good game from there on.

Anyways, after 6 games, I'm 3-3 and couldn't be happier with how things are going so far. I did have a couple injuries though. Yi went down with a strained groin so his play time has been severely limited. Hinrich went down two games ago with a strained achilles so I brought Juan Dixon back to Washington to help take some minutes off of Wall and Nick Young.

The last couple games have seen Josh Howard stepping up big time. His minutes increased with a jump to my 6th man with Hinrich out for a month or so. He has been an absolute monster down low.

I'm liking what I have so far with this Association.

He and jamal crawford signed with the suns in my association. Ithought they would be good since nash is still there but they really suck.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

After restarting about 5 times due to sliders, season length, or game length, I finally found an Association to stay with as the Pistons. I use mkharsh33's sliders and 7 minute quarter length, and full 82 game season. I like the 7 minute quarter length because it is like a high school game in terms of individual and team stats. Highest players in the league average 18-20 PPG and there are about 50 players averaging 10 PPG or higher.

I lost my first game 62-61 to the Nets. Sasha Vujacic tied up the game at 57 and hit another 3 to go up 60-57. I came down and hit a "3" with Prince, but his toes were just over the line. I fouled and Vujacic hit both free throws. I had 15 seconds left and was down 62-59. I drove with Stuckey and kicked it out to Villanueva and he drained the 3 at the buzzer. However, his feet were just over the line. I lost 62-61. Rip Hamilton had 19 and Monroe added 10 off the bench. Brook Lopez had 16.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

                      Teams (Warriors and Thunder)
                      10 Minute Quarters
                      58 Game Season

My brother's the Thunder and I'm the Warriors. As of right now, he's in 8th place in the West (14-15) and I'm 14th in the West (9-23).

My brother's Thunder team has lofty expectations and are under performing right now but are still in playoff contention. He had a slow start but has picked it up recently. I as well had high expectations and set the bar high with hopes of making the playoffs. I felt this team needed some more youth and experience so getting a top 5 pick wasn't something that was bad, but the goal is always to make the playoffs. That dream died quickly and although I'm still trying to win games it's much harder than I anticipated.

I've had some impressive victories and close games (Wins against the Magic, Mavericks, Spurs) and some downright embarrassing losses (blowout loss to league worst Wizards, couple of losses to the Kings, lost at the buzzer on shots from Harris from NJ and Wall from WAS). About midway through the season at around 26 games I really thought hard about the future and the clog I had at the guard position. I wasn't convinced either Curry or Ellis were manning my full time SG position for the future so I decided I would make one expendable. I'm very biased towards Curry and a huge fan; as well as him being on a rookie scale contract and being a deadly outside shooter. Ellis was the clear cut leader and statistical monster of the team, but Curry was my future. At the time I shopped Ellis he was putting up 23.5 pts, 7 asts, 4.5 rbds, 1.5 stls, 46/40/88. I referenced back to the rumoured Mayo/Thabeet for Ellis deal and strongly considered it as I think Mayo would be more suited for the SG position on my team. Not exactly the defensive brute I was looking to put beside Curry but his potential with Curry in the backcourt was too enticing. I felt although the trade was fair I needed to overpay a bit to Memphis because I'm really picky with trades. Along with Ellis, I gave a 2012 1st round pick which figures to be in the high teens if I reach my goal of the playoffs next year. If not, and I end up with another high lottery pick then that lost draft pick will hurt me.

We're nearing the all-star break so I'll get back with how the Thunder season has gone in a bit. For now, these are some of the player stats:

                      Warriors:

                      Curry (21.5 pts, 5.5 rbd, 8 ast, 2 stl)
                      Mayo (20 pts, 3.5 rbd, 3 ast, 1 stl)
                      Lee (17 pts, 8.5 rbd, 3 ast, 1 stl)

                      Thunder:

                      Durant (31.5 pts, 7 rbd, 3 ast, 1.5 stl, 1.3 blk)
                      Westbrook (20 pts, 4 rbd, 8 ast, 2 stl)
                      Green (16 pts, 7 rbd, 2 ast, 1.5 stl, 1 blk)

My first season just ended with the Bucks winning the championship as a 3rd seed. Melo ended up signing with the Nets, too.

I kind of find it odd though that no matter what Association I do, David Lee always ends up being traded. In this one he went to OKC for Jeff Green.

Yeah, David Lee has gotten traded in most of my assoc. too...

Started a new association with the Clippers and I boosted some stats and tendencies for Blake Griffin(82-85)and Eric Gordon(79-82) in an attempt to get more accurate sim stats as I always sim the 1st season. Also changed the rotation to what it is in real life right now putting Kaman on IR.

Clippers went 26-56 3rd worst in the league.
                          Blake Griffin avg. 21PPG 11.7RPG Eric Gordon avg. 20.1PPG 3RPG 3APG

Blake's numbers are nearly identical to his real life numbers.
EG's numbers are close but not quite as high as it they are IRL.

Strangely enough, Griffin ended up 3rd team All-NBA.
John Wall got 2nd team All-Defense and beat Griffin out for ROY.
                          Wall avg. 18.2PPG 7.6APG 2.7SPG

Think Ill keep Davis and deal Kaman to try to get some cap space so I can sign another small forward. I might look to deal Bledsoe as well and draft a point guard like Josh Selby or Kyrie Irving.

Just lost to the Bulls, 99-92 in my last game. Rose didn't do much scoring but he made it up with his assists, dishing out 16 in the game. Boozer and Deng did the scoring for them. My Cavs didn't look so shabby but we came up short in the last quarter of the game.

                            After 15 games:
