Excited for you Knicks fans! Congratulations on getting a player of his caliber. Will be starting an association with them once the trade deadline passes as well, should be good fun.

Anyways, I said I would update after my All-Star Weekend and I am. Before I update on All-Star stuff, I made a few deals before the trade deadline for other teams, and here they are.
Knicks get:
Knicks get:
Chris Paul
Emeka Okafor (3 year, $42 million deal, saves Hornets boatloads of money)
Alonzo Gee (5 year, $45 million deal, again they save a lot of money)
Eric Bledsoe (in exchange for an unhappy Toney Douglas
Hornets get:
Raymond Felton (young-ish, upper-tier point guard)
Danillo Gallinari (good young prospect with tons of trade value)
Anthony Randolph (good young prospect with tons of trade value as well)
Antonio McDyess (expiring deal)
2012 first-round pick (via San Antonio, who is under .500 and out of the playoff race in the West for now)
2013 first-round pick (via San Antonio)
Spurs get:
Trevor Ariza (they needed a small forward after they trade Richard Jefferson, saved New Orleans a lot of money too)
Bill Walker (young, decent shooting guard, they needed another shooting guard)
Wizards get:
Toney Douglas
Leslie McCormick (18th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft)
I posted that one in my last post, but just wanted to recap the entire trade deadline as I also dealt Carmelo to the Knicks from the Nuggets. He re-signed after season one but I felt he was going to go the Knicks, and hours later he's traded to the Knicks in real life, so it worked out great. Here's some of the trade, I forget all of it as like 8 teams were involved to make everything work, be fair, and make sense for each team involved.
Knicks get:
Carmelo Anthony
Nuggets get:
Wilson Chandler
Caron Berry (17th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft)
Marcus Camby
Eric Bledsoe
Elliot Williams (young prospect with tons of trade value)
2012 first-round pick (via the Trail Blazers)
3 second-round picks (via Cavaliers, Warriors, and Wizards obtained by trades made by the computer)
Trail Blazers get:
Chauncey Billups
Joel Pryzbillia (they had traded him in season one and needed a backup big man after giving up Camby in this trade)
The Nuggets got under the cap and no longer have to pay luxury tax and have a lot of pieces for the future, namely Wilson Chandler, Ty Lawson, Eric Bledsoe, Caron Berry, Elliot Williams, Lamar Odom (expiring contract), Nene (expiring contract), and Marcus Camby (expiring contract).
The New York Knicks lineup now looks like this.
PG: Chris Paul
SG: Landry Fields
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Amar'e Stoudemire
C: Emeka Okafor
Not deep at all, but that's the way they are now in real life as well. I edited Chris Paul's contract so it's like he signed a maximum contract extension. Amar'e is under contract for this season and 3 more seasons, Paul and Anthony for this season and 5 more seasons. Would be cool to see them in the playoffs.
Anyways, back to the All-Star Weekend. I played as the Sophomores in the Rookie-Sophomore game and beat the Rookies 124-110. John Wall led the way with 30 points and 11 assists and got the MVP of the Rookie-Sophomore game.
In the All-Star game I had 3 of my players in the starting lineup for the Eastern Conference All-Stars in Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh. I ended up beating the Western Conference All-Stars 134-119, with LeBron James leading the way with 37 points in just 30 minutes and getting the All-Star Game MVP honors.
Now, since All-Star Weekend is done, it's time to really put the clamps down on defense and get into playoff shape, both defensively and rotation wise, whilst the offense takes care of itself as per usual.
Next update will be when the regular season has concluded, so it should be somewhere around 2 to 3 weeks from now.
