    OPINIONS NEEDED PLEASE!!!

So i'm 49 deep into my Bulls assoc but I need to make some changes. I'm 45-4 playing most games...I'll be posting my options at the bottom of my post and would appreciate some suggestions.

    My line-up far:

    D. Rose - 93 +2
    R. Brewer - 73 +1
    L. Deng - 74 -5 (injured)
    C. Boozer - 86 +1
    J. Noah - 84 +2

    T. Gibson - 77 +2
    B. Wallace - 77 +2 (I traded Asik and my '12 first rounder for Wallace and '11 2nd round pick. All I wanted Wallace for, was for low post defense and rebounding.)
    K. Azubuike - 73 +2 (I signed him as a back-up when Bogan was ruled out for the season. Brewer then fell for 2 months and he played well as a starter.
    C.J. Watson - 71 +3
    K. Thomas - 69 +1
    K. Korver - 67 +2
    J. Pargo - 65 +3
    B Scalabrine - 46 +2
    R. Butler - 45 -16 (injured - season)
    K. Bogans - 46 -22 (injured - season)
    ______________________________________________

This is where I need suggestions please!

I need to get rid of the following:

Brewer - played a total of 22 games before his injury. He's since played 2 games but doesn't play defense and misses wide open shots.

Korver - apart from his 3pt shots, he sucks! Plain and simple. Doesn't rebound, gets beat by his man all the time and runs plays like a douche.

    Not sure on the following:

Noah - I like Noah, but so far this season he's averaging, 6.6ppg, 8rpg, 1.2apg, .3spg, 1.9bpg. He's down on every stat except for bpg.
    ______________________________________________

So I started looking around on trade finder, and here are the best offers from the cpu for a decent SG:

    Bulls - Grizz
Mayo(78 +1) for Noah, Scalabrine and '11 1st round pick.

    or

    Mayo(78 +1) and ZBo(82 +1) for Boozer and Noah
    _____

    Bulls - Bucks
Brewer and Korver for John Salmons(75 +1) and Jon Brockman(54 +1).

    Any suggestion?
...we held several meetings to discuss the future of the franchise. After going through those meetings, it became very clear that the vision I had for the game was different from where the leadership wanted to take it. I parted ways with EA shortly after...

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

I think Brewer + Korver for Salmons seems more realistic, since it seems like Salmons is traded every year...

Noah, and your 1st for OJ Mayo seems fair, both are young players, and your 1st rounder should push the cpu over the top to accept it, even though your pick will not be in the lotto.

I think its less "realistic" to get Mayo just because I don't see the Grizz letting him go for Noah since they already have Randolph and Gasol.

          Re: OPINIONS NEEDED PLEASE!!!

If you are a fan of Mayo I like that idea and then try to package Brewer with someone to get a pick back if possible. Personally, I have WAY more fun putting my talent in the 1, 2 and 3 positions if you are going to play the game manually. 4 and 5's are for defense and rebounding and you can get quality guys to do that pretty cheap in terms of trade value.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Played game 9 last night in Utah versus the Jazz. My Bulls were too much for them and lead the whole way through. Jazz kept it to single digits through the first half but eventually we pulled out to that comfortable 13 to 15 point lead and never really looked back. Durant carried the team much of the way piling in 49 points and then of course Curry put up his typical MVP performance with 19 assists and 40 points himself.

By the second half if/when Durant or Gay get the ball the defense just swarms them. This creates WIDE open shots for guys like Curry who are just DEADLY when left all alone. Couple this with Curry taking advantage of alley-ooping the mismatches on Gay and Durant (even with slider at 46) and you got a guy dishing out 19 assists per game which leads the league! Unfortunately he is averaging like 7 turnovers per game as well but that is ok.

Team recap and trade I am considering:
PG - Curry (started season ice cold in game 1 but since then has received 8 straight MVP awards. Leads NBA in assists and is top 2 in scoring with teammate Durant. Could NOT ask for a better PG with how I play. He has a few steals to his name as well.)

SG - Gay (still looking for more plays to get a more consistent jumper. however, at the 2 position he is a BEAST down low and on alley oop plays. he is good for 6 go-ahead oops per game with his 6-8 frame and 90 dunking ability. if I find a play or 2 where he can get the jumper going early, he will only get better. i LOVE this guy at the 2 spot)

SF - Durant (finally starting to get consistency and production out of him like I thougt I should. he is up there in rebounds and blocks as well. this guy is a FREAK and I love to play with him. he should end up as the leading scorer in the league unless Curry takes that away.)

PF - Ibaka (starting to get the hang of this guy and getting him a little bit more in the offense. leads team in rebounds - top 10 in nba - and gets numerous blocks every game. has had multiple 4 block games for me.)

C - Chandler (been a dissapointment thus far. not getting much in the way of blocks or rebounds compared to where he should be. not looking to trade him yet but if the right opportunity came along I might move him)

6th - Battier (stud defender who comes in to give Gay and Durant bench time. he is not asked to do much on offense unless left wide open and is our lockdown defender who gets kobe and the other supers.)

Bibby - Udoh - Thabeet (not excited about any of these guys. spent some time looking to see how i might be able to change my bench. looking for suggestions here. i have these 3 guys and my second round draft picks to use for trade, my first round picks are gone)

Udoh & Thabeet FOR Tyrus Thomas & Magloire is an option
Also would like to move Bibby for a better passer/defender. Now that alley oops is at 46 the PASS rating is even MORE important when throwing OOPS. Bibby is kind of slow as well. I don't even care about shooting for my backup PG, I just want a guy who can defend, run fast and throw dimes!

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

So, I am looking for input for a trade. My trade bait in order is:
Thabeet - Udoh - Bibby (and Chandler only if a sweet deal is possible)

While Chandler is dissapointing me with his game thus far, it is hard to find a guy who is a better defender/rebounder on paper. Here are a list of guys that I am thinking of right now but would like more input. Again, here are the qualities that I am looking for:

PG - good passer and defender, more speed for the break the better. do NOT care if he can't shoot. he comes in to give Curry a rest only and distributes the rock. Gay and Durant already fight for touches.

PF/C - Defender/Rebounder/Leaper do not care if they can't shoot at all as all points will come from putbacks, wide open dunks or alley oops on breaks (which are few)

Spent some time looking around and here are some guys that caught my eye:
              Tyrus Thomas
Anthony Randolph (might be too expensive)
              Ben Wallace
Avery Bradley (just kept seeing these guys come up on TRADE FINDER)
Jeff Teague (just kept seeing these guys come up on TRADE FINDER)

So anyone have any thoughts on these guys or anyone I am missing?

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Wizards, yeah I know, they are my hometown pick and I am currently 6-6 starting out and I started out 0-4 then went 1-6, I was absolutely getting crushed early on and now I am on a 5 game win streak, biggest win was against Celtics 103-102, where I was tearing them up in the 2nd n 3rd but when cold and they were hot and they dropped 34 to my 14 in the 4th and I held on.

I am on HOF level and i play 12 min qtrs on Simulation game style I tried editing gamplay settings but it just became to easy even on HOF, so now I get a challenge and did get whooped early on but now am Holding my own and could quite possibly take the Wiz back to he playoffs.

Oh and I abuse Mr. Wall, two games ago against Memphis and dropped 75 but only won by 22. I finally got him to do his signature celebration finally. But overall I am having tons of fun even when it seemingly makes the CPU automatic at times but I still find a way to win. I also turned off trades with the updated rosters but I will change it back next season.

You made to much unrealistic trades. No team trades that much in 1 year that just damages chemistry. And the players you traded for are are key players to their original respective teams, not realistic at all dude.

I was looking through this thread and I was thinking the same exact thing. Granted my squad is

                              pg - Kyrie Irving
                              sg - Austin Rivers
                              sf - Carmelo Anthony
                              pf - STAT
                              c - Camby

                              Sixth Man - Larry Sanders
                              bench
Gibson, Hinrich, Austin Daye, Reggie Evans, Donte Green

Are a lot of people using the trade over ride to build super teams?

Im 8 games into my Blazers Association and I made what will more than likely be the only trade this season.

I noticed that Jameer Nelson was in the rumor mill and wanted to be traded so I figured I could jump in on a trade with Orlando.

It ended up being a three team trade with me (Blazers, Orlando, and the Bobcats to make all sides get a fair deal.

                                Blazers Get:

                                D.J. Augustin
                                Matt Carroll

                                Magic Get:

                                Andre Miller
                                Rudy Fernandez
                                Diop

                                Bobcats Get:

                                Jameer Nelson
                                J.J. Reddick
                                11' Second Round Pick (Blazers)

With this deal I get rid of Miller and Fernandez who were not playing well at all. I get a young PG to lead my team for the future and Matt Carroll who will see limited playing time.

Orlando gets a PG who can make plays for himself so Dwight isn't the only one that's being depended on to score. And they get Rudy who can do what Reddick did for a lot less money, and Diop who can be a backup to Dwight.

The Bobcats get a PG that can score, Reddick who is a great shooter, and a second round pick for this draft.

Let me know what you guys think. I think this was the a realistic way to get rid of Miller and Fernandez. Considering I wasn't going to resign them at the off season.
