Alright, so I loaded up my association, and I completely forgot that I had saved in the middle of a game. My Magic @ OKC... OKC is whooping us 29-19 with some time left in the first quarter. However, it's safe to say we'll make a comeback for sure (especially with MJ). Here's our problem though, we're facing Paul Pierce. Remember when I said we stlil had time in the first quarter? Paul Pierce currently has 18 POINTS. 7-9 on field goals, 4-6 on 3-pointers. Michael Jordan is 3-7 on field goals and 1-1 from the 3-point line... 3:30 left in the first quarter.... This is going ot be a scary game for sure. Oh btw, I have Jason Kidd on my team. Does it make sense that he is playing with back spasms??

Bentons NBA 2k11 Portland Trail Blazer Association
Just did some more updating standings, league leaders, roster, Ill do more past game recaps later. yes my team is struggle, but it would help to get Oden and Wallace back, by the way sometimes i think this game is like the real nba helping the more popular teams I simmed a game AT Dallas and believe it or not they shot 67 free throws in a game it did go into OT but are u kidding me, 67 free throws and i still only lost by 4. To be exact 58-67 at the line. I was only 23-32. Dirk was 15-17 at the line and it was 123-119.
then 2 days later i play them again at home, not as crazy this time at the line.. but Portland does what they sometimes do in real life, they had this game in hand and lost it in the 4th, being outscored 23-13 and loosing 97-93.
**Other Nba notes... Upcoming free agents
Chris Paul (player option)
Dwight Howard (player option)
Derrick Rose (no option)
Russell Westbrook (no option)
Derron Williams (no option)
Blake Griffin (Team option)
Stephen Curry (Team option)
Tim Duncan (no option)
Kevin Love (no option)
WHAT a crazy off season this may be, but i would think they all may stay put, espeically the ones with the team options, but then again Carmelo left NY for the Nets in my past off season could Paul and Howard be heading to LA ??? lol. Check out my SIG for my dynasty updates.....Youtube channel

2nd year with the New Jersey Nets, currently on a 9 game winning streak (9-0 to start the season) playing with All Star/Sim sliders, Clutch Factor On. I unlocked an achievement for 5 game win streak, now if I beat the Warriors I can unlock the 10 game achievement for Reward Points in the offseason.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I really dislike Durant... he kills me every time and the way he hits contested three after contested three... when I can't even hit wide open three's in this game just irks me so much.... I was totally smashed by the Thunder... lol I am actually scared that now Durant is back (he was injured early) they will make a run for 8th seed in the west and I might just be doing a Dallas losing to Golden State a few years back... cause I CAN'T STOP DURANT!!!Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I was just checking, everyone does know that if you resign from GM position then you can pick any other team that you choose. I might do this with my T'Wolves soon, if I don't have cap room I might go to the same team as my favorite player on the Wolves.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
CHICAGO BULLS Association:
Bulls Receive:
Michael Beasley
T'Wolves Receive:
Boozer
Lucas
'12 Second Round Pick
Why it makes sense:
- Cash Advantage; Boozer's 14 million doesn't match his performance at all (IRL and in the game). Beasley's contract is about 5 million.
- Now i have a SF/PF that, IMO is better defensively, and spreads the floor even more with his three ball. Not to mention Beasley is much more athletic and has a better potential.
Let me know your comments, opinions, etc.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
They should change that in the next game. Make it to where u get offers from other teams, even teams who still have coaches, they could fire them to hire you. Kinda like in the offseason on NCAA11 u get like 2 or 3 teams interested in you.Youtube channel

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I actually have totally different results against Durant. Typically I'd say he goes like 10-30 for the game, almost entirely on outside shots. Might be because I have a decent defender on him (Tayshaun Prince), but I kinda look forward to playing OKC because of all the forced Durantfest.
When NBA 2k12 comes out, I'm doing a lot with the Pistons. And might do the same with MLB 2k12 and TigersCan the Kings turn it around? Come watch my NBA 2K11 Association!Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Ugh iam having a hard time trying to figure out if i should sim all the games or play them or half and half it, or half and half each game lol..
See the thing is, is some people dont think playing full games really shows how good or bad the player is. Like some will think they do way better then they would in real life when u play, but then again it is just a game, Some think Sim games show pretty much what they would do in real life, but it can be boring just clicking simulate game.
thats why earlier this season i was simming and playing the same game, each game, i would coach mode the first half and then sim the 2nd half.
Ive noticed when i play a game, some players will do more then then what they really would do, I kept seeing Brandon Roy shooting like 3 or 4 threes a game, but he doesnt always shoot that many a game, Or there will be a player who averages 8 points and 4 rebounds a game but he will almost have a double double at half. But then that same player while simming will get right about his averages, give or take. I may even play a few full games and sim a few full games and show what each of my starters atleast. do in played and sim games.Youtube channel

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
after completing my first season with the hornets without playoffs as 12 in the conference i cleared all the roster with taking first picks for "11,12" for kings and clippers an the wolv's also with much of the best players i have but i kept CP3 and Ed Davis and then i start my best trades with taking the King james with "CP3 and ED and first pick in the lottery " so i build around James with " Brooks - JR - James - D.Williams - Kanter " and after the free agent i took D.Williams from the nets with trading brooks and Donatas Motiejunas and 3 first round pick's for the kings and Clippers and Hornets also ..
i think i'm poor at the defense but kanter will help as soon he grow in the game and i have some of good perimeter defense on the bench to clutch the game .. with fast break players
James ( 34pts , 7.1 Reb , 4 blocks , 4 assist )
i'm not 17-2 and D.Williams the rookie start to make the double-double easily now (19 points . 11 Reb , 2 blocks , 1.2 steal , 3 TO ) per game
so what do u thinkComment

Just do what makes you happy... WHO CARES if your skill makes your team better... heaven knows our skills can also make our teams fail...
My Timberwolves are 38 - 13 and I just hit 26 points with Morrow and 19 with Michael Finley (traded for morrow, had to sign Finley when Johnson joined Beasley on the injured list). It's a game, it's what I had to do to win... people will either enjoy reading about my association or they won't... all that matters to me is the enjoyment I get from my association... so just follow your heart and who cares what stats are. Kevin Love doesn't average 20- and 10 with me... more like 12 and 6... such is life.AJ Stuart M25 Career Dynasty- http://www.operationsports.com/wolvesjr34/dynasty/Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Remember when I said I get interested in a lot of ideas and keep restarting? Well, it happened again... I hooked my Xbox back up to Xbox Live and downloaded mkharsh33's 84-85 rosters. I randomly chose to coach Utah (seriously, I held down the trigger when selecting a team and counted to ten. it landed on Utah). Don't worry, I plan on sticking with this association lol.
So, I always do 29 game schedules because I don't have the time to play 82 games, not even over summer break. Anyway, first game was against the Lakers, and all I can say is OUCH. My team played horribly against them, as the Lakers beat us 106-82. I was really hoping my team would come back from the 20 point lead the Lakers put on them, but Byron Scott wouldn't let them get back in the game.
The interesting part of the game was Magic Johnson twisting his ankle, and it having no effect on him playing. I saw him out on the floor after his injury, and he hit a three pointer with no trouble at all. Then again, I'm not sure how much an injured ankle would effect your shooting, but still, he had no trouble.
Anyhow, we're in the first quarter of our second game against Denver, and so far it looks like it will be one of those games that is decided in the final two minutes of the 4th quarter. Hopefully we pull out our first win.
And also, I haven't looked at my schedule, but I really hope there is a game against the Bulls. I'd love to see if my guys can shut down a young Michael Jordan.James Naismith visited an Indiana basketball state finals game along with 15,000 screaming fans and later wrote, that while it was invented in Massachusetts, "basketball really had its origin in Indiana, which remains the center of the sport."Comment
