With my Hawks chise, we started out 2-3, but then i moved jamal crawford to starting sg and put joe johnson at sf. Boom. Reeled off 5 in a row, w/ crawford averaging 23 a game and johnson w/ 28 a game. I've pretty much given up on mike bibby. Trying to get rid of him, but don't want to start teague or get rid of draft picks, so i think ill give him to the end of the year. Horford and smith are beasts inside. Smith might be a bit short for pf, but rebounds like one. And with Horford i can just toss it in there and have him lay it in. Also i want to trade for a cheap 3 ball shooter. any ideas?

I dunno if you would consider him cheap, but Raja Bell is a great 3 ball shooter who also plays great D. His shot is easy to master and once you do, he's pretty much auto from anywhere. I'm currently shooting 47% with him from 3 point land.

Also, I'd get rid of Bibby for pretty much anything and start Teague. I just played the Hawks not too long along and they seemed to play so much better with Teague in than when Bibby is in.

Currently 21-2 with the Knicks on Pro w/10 min quarters in my 1st season. Just had my toughest game with the Heat, i prevailed 105-103 in OT. Wade almost knifed me with a 3 at the buzzer.

This is how my team looksut Michael Jordan on the team because i've always dreamt of having him on my team; traded Amare for Lamarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden; traded Oden for Kevin Love; traded Wilson Chandler,Felton,'11 1st round for Aaron Brooks and Jared Jeffries[coming off the books after season]; traded Azubuike,Tony Douglas,Bill Walker for Steve Blake and Shannon Brown; traded Mason for Demarre Carroll and '11 2nd round pick; traded Eddy Curry for Omri Casspi. I kind of dismantled half the Knicks but I want to win ASAP. All of these trades are legit, i was able to trade Curry for Casspi because Sac is under the cap, but most of you already know that.

My association is over after 19 games. You guessed it the black screen bug has rendered my association to the back burner. I'm not going to go off on a rant but I will say my disappointment in 2k for releasing a game with such an obvious and drastic bug is inexcusable.

It was a good game while it lasted.

BTW, I was 9-9 with the Suns.

Season1 [as] Mavs (All-30 Teams) Association:

Since my last association update I had lost two home games in a row, after going 11-0 at home prior to those losses.

I simmed my next game, a 97-89 win over Utah. Then I played Portland and won by 15, 117-102. Next game faced PHX (simmed), and obliterated them winning by 40 pts, 113-66. Next game was @ Miami, setting up back2back contests on the road @MIA and @ORL.

The Miami game was a mess. Dallas took an early lead in the 1st, up by 11 at one point, but Dallas eventually went really cold and then the fouls.....

Lebron got to the line 15 times, making 12. Wade got to the line 5x, making four, and Bosh 8x making 7 of those attempts. All in all Miami went 29/36 from the charity stripe, and in a 109-102 loss to the Heat those FT attempts proved to be the difference. Dallas did a good job harrassing Lebron as he went 5-19 from the field finishing w/ 23 point; but I guess given the fouls that I was a little too aggressive? Dirk finished w/ 27 on 12-18 shooting.

Dallas was able to salvage a game of that Florida back2back winning in Orlando 113-107. A BIG 1st Qtr, outscoring Orlando 33-24, propeled the Mavs for the rest of the game. Dallas kept the TOs low (only 10), and shot 93% from the charity stripe in 15 attempts. Roddy Beaubois came on strong in the 4th, and would finish w/ 18pts on 8-14 shooting. Dirk and VC lead all scorers w/ 29 pts each. Kidd also dropped 11pts in the 2nd half to help pick up the scoring load. J-Kidd finished w/ 11 and 14.

Finished up a 3-gm road stretch visiting OKC. The Thunder got out to a 17pt lead at a point in the 2nd qtr. It was ugly...Durant ripped me a new one again. In my previous visit to OKC in November Durant dropped 45. In this contest he one upped that night w/ a 48pt effort; also adding 6 boards, 3 assists, and 4 blocks. A 14-4 run to begin the 3rd qtr pushed Dallas back into it, but KD proved to be too much. There were two 3's taken by Beaubois that would've given a go-ahead bucket or tied the game, but I couldn't connect on either one. Despite getting to the line 29 times and making 20 of those attempts, Dallas couldn't pull out a win losing 103-98. Good news: I'm done playing OKC on the road, they have to face off twice in Dallas now.

Simmed the next game vs Toronton, won.

To wrap-up the month of December, faced off w/ the visiting Spurs. San Antonio attacked inside early and often, and Dallas looked defeated out there. BUT...I opted to gut it out, instead of sit starters, and went on a wild 22-6 run spanning most the 4th Qtr that propeled Dallas to a 97-92 win over the Spurs. Dallas is now 2-0 against San Antonio in 2010-11, perhaps exercising those 2009-10 playoff demons where the Spurs bounced Dallas in 6 games...? Duncan went for 27 and 10, Dirk dropped 26 knocking down 7 from the FT line, and Roddy Beaubois drained 5 threes in the contest.

So I started my own Knicks Franchise. I did few trade overrides that, sent Cousins to Knicks, and since I despise the Clippers I pretty much change their whole rosters. I sent Griffin to the Kings in the 3 team trade that gave me Cousins. And i sent Turiaf and Felton to the kings and the kings sent Urich to the Clips. I got a couple 1st in the deal. I also found a way to get Jennings from The Buck while sending Flynn to the bucks and Gallinari and a first to the Timberwolves. I traded For Melo before i started the association. So after so more trading and ending up with no picks, my lineup is:

I have no back PG, i use JR for that. I only go about 3 deep on my bench. I wanted an athletic team and players that made up for each other weaknesses. Ex. I traded for T-Will for for his defense b/c Melo is kind of suspect in that regard. I got Cousins manly b/c I didn't want to play Amare at the 5 and Cousins is a better rebounder than Amare. I know my team would never exist realistically but wanted to bring the Knicks back to glory. And before i started the season when i trded Melo to the Knicks I also traded CP3 to the Magic for Nelson and traded Deng to the 76ers for Iggy. And i sent Bledsoe and Gordon from the Clips to the Pacers for D. Jones and AJ price. I also traded Bynum to the Hawks and J. Smith to the Pacers while trading Nash to the Lakers. Moved Gasol to the 5 and Horford to the 4. I also traded Baron Davis to the Bobcats for someone i forgot. I guess i should have done a Fantasy draft, lol.

I have played 40 games on 12 minute quarters on all-star/sim as the Miami Heat. I am dominating right now on a 27 game winning streak, and my overall record is 39-1! That one loss was to the Memphis Grizzlies who I just couldn't stop that game. Made a trade around 25 games into it, since the Bobcats traded for Kendrick Perkins and did worse with him than without him, so I got him from them, forget the specifics but it was a good trade for the future of their team, and when I did it they went on a 5 game winning streak and have been doing much better. Anyways, he helped out a lot and I'm finally out rebounding teams and stopping big players from constantly scoring. I switched Carlos Arroyo to the bench and I'm now starting Eddie House at point guard, but Wade and LeBron dominate the ball obviously. Team is running better than ever now, and with only 42 games remaining until the playoffs, my team is, simply put, ready to win a title.

Season1 [as] Mavs (All-30 Teams) Association:

With the Mavs flying high, sitting on top the West, and having played 27 of their 31 games so far decided to pull the Hornets out of despair.

I will be playing Mavs games versus teams over .500....It seems like January will be a good month for this too because due to the Mavericks schedule there are a lot of sub-500% teams they play in January.

The Hornets finished December strong, winning 7 of their last 10 games. They've been absolutely horrible on the road with a 3-16 record. I've played two games with the Hornets so far. One away @WAS, a blow-out loss, and the second a home win by 10 over the 76ers.

I have played 4 games so far in my Celtics Association, I am currently 3-1 with my only loss being to the Knicks.
I am going to try to play all 82 games but we shall see. By the way I am using puntNL's sliders and the 2k insiders rosters.

You really have to rest some of your stars when you would rather they be on the court. Again my only loss was to the Knicks and they killed me by 20 points. I just could not stop them at all, Amare had 27 pts and 15 rebs and Gillarni had 25 pts.

i just got done reading a article on nba.com about steve nash and how the suns should trade him so they still can get something back for him. this made me wanna start a fransise and gives my wizards francise a break. which of these would be better?

Amare and Nash with the NYK would be the best option IMO.
I think it is also the most likely of the 3 to happen IRL.
