Started out December in my Jazz association with a win over the Pacers. Pretty easy game. Next game against the Mavs wasn't so easy. They traded for David Lee earlier in the season so I was expecting a tough game with him and Dirk. Come to find out, Dirk is out for a mouth. And three minutes into the game, David Lee goes down and doesn't return. Rest of the game should be easy for me, right? Nope. Caron Butler gets hot and doesn't miss. I'm down most of the game, finally tie it up with two minutes left after Raja Bell hit a 3.

We trade the lead back and forth for the rest of the game. With 25 seconds left, I score with Jefferson to leave me up by a point. They go down, Kidd gets two screens set for him, has an easy path to the basket until AK comes out of nowhere to get a hand in his face. Kidd misses the layup and fouls Millsap as soon as he grabs the rebound. With 1.8 seconds left, Millsap hits both free throws to give the Jazz a 3 point lead. The Mavs call time out, inbound it to Jason Terry...who misses! Jazz win their 16th game in a roll.

i just got done reading a article on nba.com about steve nash and how the suns should trade him so they still can get something back for him. this made me wanna start a fransise and gives my wizards francise a break. which of these would be better?

Nash and dwight howard
Amare and nash reunited in NYC
Nash on the Lakers with Kobe and Pau

im thinking about doing one of these three bacause 2 out of those three can go to the finals and the knicks if they get melo can go to the finals than to.

Do the Orlando trade..Bass/nelson/gortat1st for Nash/hill.

As a Lakers fan I'd say Nash with Kobe and Pau for sure...but realistically it'd likely be Amare + Nash in NYC.

I'm almost to the All-Star break in my GS association this is the only interesting thing to take place.

My earlier trade for Stuckey finally was about to get tested against the Lakers first 3 minutes of the game Stuckey forces 3 Kobe misses and has 7 pts. He drives to the basket only to get tackled by Artest breaking his wrist. I lose him for 4 to 6. Earlier that day I called up Terrico White from the D-League who came over in the Ellis trade as well. The plan was to run some smaller lineups at the Lakers and try and force mismatches offensively. His call up was supposed to be a one game run but he was forced into extended action. He stepped up big and gave me 22 points. At times forcing Wes Matthews off the floor. We ended up winning behind 46 from Curry. The decision came down that White would stay in the starting lineup during Stuckeys injury and Matthews would stay on the bench. White responded avg 20pts over the next month and garnering Rookie of the Month honors for January. Keith Smart will be tested in the next 3 weeks when Stuckey returns from injury. The most likely scenario has J. Lin being sent back to the D-League and Rodney Stuckey taking over the 6th man duties. His ability to play minutes at the 1 and 2 will be welcomed off the bench. (Side note the injury pretty much cost Stuckey a long term deal)

In other roster moves to create more minutes I sent C.Bell and L. Amundson to Minn for Darko. So the rotation looks like this going into the all-star break

Curry/Lin
White/Matthews
Batum/Wright
Lee/Udoh
Biedrins/Darko

Currently the team is 35-10(I'm 18-6 and have simmed the rest)

So i started a new Association playing Heat. I change some of Bosh Tendecies to be more focus on posting up. And I wanted some size in the middle so i did a trade finder with Chalmers and Joel Anthony, and I was offered J. thompson by the Kings, they wanted me to add a 1st w/ the deal. I accepted it. I think the trade is somewhat realistic b/c they could use an upgrade at the point when Evans isn't playing it and chalmers does that. And with Landry, Cousins and Dalembert, i feel thompson will become the odd man out. What do you guys think? Oh yea with the new update MIA now has black socks in away games.

This is good...The Suns have struggled in my association and I think it may be time to move Nash...prolly at the deadline.

I started a sim Association with the Lakers for fun with 29 game season. I traded everyone except Kobe, Pau, Bynum and Odom to get expirings and draft picks.
'10-11 season went 15-14 made the 7th seed and lost to Houston.

'11-12 season traded Pau to get under the cap and had the #5 pick and took my starting PG [81 rtg]. Went 11-18 and missed playoffs.

'12-13 let Bynum and Odom expire, hoping to get CP3 or Dwill but they re-upped. So i had Kobe and a bunch of rookies and terrible players. #7 pick draft my starting C [80 rtg] and #15 pick my starting SF [77 rtg]. Went 11-18 and missed playoffs.

'13-14 had the same team except 2 more draft picks in 2nd round. Surprisingly went 17-12 making the 5th seed but lost to Dallas.

'14-15 let Kobe leave, signed John Wall for the max, Jason Thompson and dicrepid Dirk. Went 14-15 missed playoffs.

'15-16 Durant and Lebron hit the marked, made a run at both but KD signed with Miami and Lebron [30 y/o] signed with me for the max. Now i got Wall, Lebron, Thompson with 4 others 80+ rating. Will play a few games to see how this works out.

Won my 17th game in a row earlier today against the Grizzlies. Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo scored like crazy but they were no match for Paul Millsap's 34 points.

Next game was against the 14-8 Miami Heat. And it was the game of the year. Back and fourth all game long, Lebron dominating the first half, Wade the next. D-Will doing everything he could to keep up. With one minute left to play, the Jazz down 107-102, Deron would get the rebound off a miss shot from Lebron, run down the court to bring the Jazz within two. Heat get the ball back, give to Wade...who fumbles it! D-Will races up court and with Bosh in his face, nails a free throw line jumper. With just a few seconds left, the Heat inbound the ball to Wade...who misses! Overtime.

Deron tries to take over in OT but keeps getting double teamed. Enter Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson. Too bad Wade, Lebron, and Bosh would match them shot for shot. With 30 seconds left and the game tied, the Heat would again in bound the ball to Wade...and he would again fumble it! Knowing I should just let time run down and try to score at the buzzer but with a wide open court, I race down with Deron and score with about ten seconds left to get the lead. The Heat would have and once again go to Wade. He would drive and just like at the end of the fourth, find a wide open path to the basket to tie the game with 1.7 seconds left. Jazz ball, I try to pass it in to Deron, ball gets tipped, and we're heading to double OT!

Pretty much the same as the first overtime, Deron would get doubled, pass it off to either Millsap or Jefferson. Couldn't stop Lebron, Wade, or Bosh. With the Jazz up 135-133 and about 30 seconds left, the Heat would again go to Wade. This time, he pulls up for a jumper and ties the game. But he left me too much time. With five seconds left, I had plenty. Inbound the ball to Deron, try to drive to the hoop...Calmers falls down on the crossover! Wide open jumpshot at the top of the key...BAM!!! Jazz up 137-135! With just a few ticks left on the clock, Wade would heave up a full court 3 and miss...Jazz win number 19 in a row.

Both Wade and Lebron would finish with 36 points. Deron had 43 and 17 assists. Big Al had 26 and 9 rebounds while Millsap had 25 and 8 rebounds. Great game. I've now beaten the Heat (x2), the Mavs, and the Lakers, the top three team besides me in my association on this winning streak. Will anybody beat me?

I like the Knicks one the most to tell you the truth. That was a rumor swirling around last year...moving Nash to the Knicks would probably be a deal I consider in my own association since the Knicks are leading their division.

Started an association with a created team with free agents only so it's clear Iverson is going to be my go-to guy. Here's a low quality pic of what the S5 looks like:



I know the first season is going to be a blow out, so season 2 is when things are going to pick up, i'm hoping to get me some good free agents and a good spot in the draft.

Decided to coach mode my new Celtics franchise. Just played my first game and lost to the Heat 106-95. It was a very close game until the 4th quarter, where the Heat pulled ahead. LeBron and Bosh absolutely destroying me, getting 33 and 26, respectively. ANd Bosh also got 14 rebounds to add to that.

For me, we only shot 36% due to very poor shooting from Pierce and Nate Robinson. I turned Robinson's shooting tendency WAAAY down, because he was taking way too many stupid shots and missing. Shaq was a beast on the defensive end, getting 15 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Newcomer Josh Smith also had a very promising Celtics debut. He scored 28 points, and got 11 rebounds to go along with 3 steals and 3 blocks. He may be undersized, but he definitely showed why he was on the All-NBA 2nd Defensive Team last season. He also made many plays (tipped balls that led to steals) that aren't counted in the stats. Needless to say, he kept Boston in the game until the end.
