Just started a new association with the Brooklyn Beach Badboys. I replaced the Wizards because I wanted a challenge being in the same division as the Heat and Magic. I simulated the first season, because my team was full of scrubs, so I was destined for 0-82 either way. Drafted a GREAT young PF who is now 20 years old entering his NBA debut. He has GREAT low post defense (86, with +5 low post defense Jordan's, making it 91). Is also a pretty decent rebounding PF (B+), and he has a pretty decent midrange shot as well (67). 73 blocking, but once I work on it in the offseason, along with defensive awareness and low post defense, he'll be a perennial All-Defense Team member.

So no John Wall? i would've at least put him in the free agent pool.

I just finished my first season with the Wolves and drafted a PF because he was clearly the best player available. I already have K Perkins, K Love and G Oden on a big man rotation so I'm going to trade 1 of the 4 for a SG hopefully.

Should I trade Perkins(78ovl), Love(81ovl) or Oden(78ovl)?
Who should I try to get to replace Corey Brewer at SG?

IMO Oden's defense gets a slight edge over Perkins' offense, just a matter of what you value more. Courtney Lee and Aaron Afflalo are good cheap options at SG.

You really need to man up and up the difficulty, seriously!

I am not 8-3 in my Celtics season. I finished my first real road trip 2-2 losing the last 2 to the Heat 110-88 and the Griz 92-88. I did win my last game vs the Wizards 95-83. Still loving this game I just hope I dont get the dreaded freeze.

I just upped it to All-Star 20 or 25 games ago, so I literally just got onto this difficulty. Most of my games are really close bro, it's just that I blow out teams more often then other teams, but that's just because I have 3 of the top players in the NBA. If I up the difficulty, I will lose every game which would be way more unrealistic, as the games are close so upping the difficulty will put them over the hump every time against me. It's hard to get total realism with 3 of the best players in the NBA all on one team in a video game bro. It's a lot of fun since I get a lot of close games, and a lot of games decided by defense, which is very realistic, so it's all good bro.

I too have 4 of the better players in the NBA using the Celtics in my season but I get ultra realistic games and stats, I am currently 8-3 and have had 5 very close wins. You really should try some of the great slider sets on OS instead of just playing default all star sim bro.

Thanks so much for the advice, since i'm totally new to this game, I have no idea about it. Also.. I've heard from this thread that using practice sessions will make your players have a Trade Value of 1 star... I've done about 3 training sessions.... Should I restart my association because of this? I don't seem to be able to get good trades even if the trades are against me..

Also, my only problem at SF sometimes is that Glen Davis will play SF... Its the worse nightmare to have that happen, especially against athletic players like Durant, James... who abuse that matchup so hard....

I've only played 12 matches into the season, would it be worth it to restart the season?

As far as the Glen Davis issue, go to edit players like Jesus(Ray Allen) and Marquese Daniels and make both of their secondary positions SF. IT will solve your problem.
In regards to your 1 star trade value have you actually checked it? By going to trade finder; which is awesome by the the way. As for as i know I heard Intra-squad and/or practice makes your players 1 star. When you stated that you trained 3 times, you actually meant developing(you have 7 hours a month to spend on improving your player attributes in different training exercises, EX: "Challenge Shot"), then you have nothing to worry about. I never do a practice, so i wouldn't know about the issue. A head the CPU always tries to screw you, I'm running with the heat and the Hornets offered me Peja and a 1st for Lebron.

I assumed you already resigned Oden at about 8-12 mil a year. If so I would trade Perkins like the other guy stated. Have you tried playing Beasley at the 3 and Wesley Johnson at the 2? B/C that may be your solution to replacing Brewer. With a lineup of Oden, Love and Beasley I can't see how you would lose the rebounding match-up with any team.

How exactly do you change the secondary positions of players? Well actually any editing with players, I always am able to see whether my players are tired/happy or not. But never know how to change anything for my players and it pisses me off. Any ways to help?

And the training I did was not the Development points stuff, It was the ones where you can set the person to focus on and what to focus on. And I think i've done the intra-sqaud scrimmage before

If you can't put Shaq in the starting lineup it's best to trade him before he destroys team morale. And for Nate, you will need to give him about 5 games of the same minutes and/or change his role. One game can't turn a guy around.

Hmm.. All that I remember from his player profile is that his personality is disturbed. But I suppose I might restart my whole association and start off by trading away Shaq.

I'm quite sure theres no fix once it goes black screen, I use 2 save files for my association (now dead) but I suppose you're gonna have to restart

From the standings above: The Nets, Spurs, and Rockets all went on a tear. The Nets finished November 5-13, but went 11-4 in December pushing them into playoff contention in the East. Both teams from the Southwest (HOU and SAS) finished November 9-8, but a 13-2 month of December from the Spurs put them right back into contention for winning the division; their only loss in December coming from the Mavs. While the Rockets went 10-5 in December and solidfying themselves for contention in the West; at least for as long as Yao stays healthy .

It would be more notable if T-Mac actually wasn't injured at this point.
