Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I tried a lot of different combinations, but without including Favors, there's no way to trade for Melo with the Nets.
I actually don't mind NJ's roster as-is, so I'm thinking I might just go ahead and start playing games. I'll probably also get a Thunder and Nuggets (I'll wait until the regular season just in case Melo gets moved) Association going.Currently Playing:

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Started new association with Cahrlotte Bobcats.Currently 3-1.My only lost came to Orlando, but other wins have come quite easily.I really love Gerald Wallace-He hits jumpers,3-pointers and dunks like a maniac.Averaging 23.5 points per game with 9 minute quarters.
Im going to update my association more often now and im looking to find a way to get Serge Ibaka.(oh and btw,Tyrus is MONSTER)Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Ugh i seriously just give up, I can't win a single game. Tried a hornets association started 0-10. Then tried a Clippers one cause of B. Griffin and started out 0-5 can't win a game for my lifeSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

It gets easier, for sure, as you put the time in. You should definitely take each of your starters and practice their shots. That makes a big difference.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
there are still too much trades going on in my association. it seems everybody is reshuffling ever month or 2. wierd much. im enjoying the game but the "5-6 trades once a month" thing is killing it for me. The Golden State Warriors in my Assoc. only has 6 original players remaining when I started (Curry, Lee, Ellis, D. Wright, Biendrins and Amundson.) I'm in for tradings and all but this excessive shipping of players is ruining it for me. I want as much realism as possible in this game and so far 2K has given me that, except for this. I put a formal complain on 2K forums and I hope they tweak this a little. Everything else is fine but this. Argh!Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I'm 1 - 1 with the Bucks.
I beat the Hornets 104 - 99. Paul was an absolute beast from mid-range, hard to defend. Bogut played well with 17 Rebounds and 20 points. I also got good play from my role players, Ilyasova got 10 points and 6 rebounds. CDR got 8 and Keyon Dooling achieved 5 Pts and 5 Ast.
After this I signed someone I think was a bit risk, but worth it for some eye candy for the fans and to get attention from all-over the league - James White! Picked him up on the minimum, and sent John Brockman to the D-League to get experience. After this, I was looking to trade M. Redd because he was a bench-warmer for my team (Didn't fit in with the new style of my team.) I wanted to get rid of that massive contract aswell, he is also pretty decent trade bait with his OVR rating. I traded with the Pacers, a team ranked 26 in power rankings, for Mike Dunleavy, Jeff Foster and '11 and '12 2nd round picks. I waived Jeff Foster as he is just dead weight, and have Dunleavy in the reserves, a guy who's contract expires current year. This trade gets me alot of cap space and some good potential role players.
My next game was in Minny, I don't know what went wrong here, I lost by 19. My main issue I think was that my Bucks team was plain OUT-REBOUNDED. Their starting five obtained 41 rebounds! Not to forget the role players getting a lot (Darko got 8.).
The other issue here was that my team just couldn't finish the shots. (Brandon Jennings hit 20%.) Again good game for Ily, 8 points and 9 rebounds. Possible contender for Sixth Man of The Year.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Im gonna say you HAVE to include a 5 star player among other assets. im the nets and if i wanted i could trade them favors, harris and 2 1st rounders. im pretty satisfied with the young talent and usually like to find a star in the draft so i wont be doing that.Comment

Keep with it, man. What difficulty are you playing on?

I'm in the same boat man but I kind of like it that way. In past NBA 2Ks I would blow out the CPU but now every game I have goes down to the wire for the most part.PSN & Xbox Gamertag - TheCrenshaw
