Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
well i dont really have much to trade with. All i got is morris peterson a 1st round and 2nd round. I mean i could use my mid level exception and sign some players to trade. But whats the point.
Eric maynor is an upcoming pg would be a good back up. Theres no point in having to starter pgs when i already have a starter in westbrook you know? Jeremy lin is only suppose to be there as a role player as well.
I play with player roles. I dont know about you but it matters when it comes down to mins for each playerComment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
yes but hes on steep decline, i dont see why you going to trade your young franchise cornerstone player for someone whos aging and might retire. You have no guarantee hell retire at 39. A lot of times older players thats been around wants to retire at 35 or 36. Why trade brandon jennings away. Thats stupid if u ask meComment

I started a Association to just be a GM with the Celtics.
Won the championship my first season made no moves then Shaq retired and I signed DeAndre Jordan. Perk and Big Baby refused to resign, and I signed Pietris and kept West. Simulated the 2nd season and got knocked out in the 2nd round. Miami won the 'ship. I resigned KG ,Ray, Pietris, and West and let Jermaine O'Neal go and signed Tim Duncan who was a 81 in free agency. Simmed 2 seasons with Rondo, Ray, Pierce, KG, and Duncan and missed the playoffs. Then Ray retired and I simmed again and we missed the playoffs again so in both years with Duncan we didn't get to the playoffs. Then Duncan retired and I signed Dirk(76), Kobe(90), and Aminu (82 Ovr) and the Wizards let John Wall(94) go to the Lakers. Made the playoffs with Rondo, Kobe, Pierce, Dirk, and KG but got knocked out in the second round and the Lakers beat the Bulls in the finals. After the season Bradley (Ovr 82) left in free agency and Dirk, KG and Pierce retired and Pierce didn't make the Hall of Fame. In free agency I picked up LeBron, Childress, and Zach Randolph while resigning Rondo to a 6 yr 131 million dollar contract and Kobe. I think I might play this season with this line up
Rondo
Kobe
James
Aminu

Need some advice for my Kings team my lineup right now is currently
Pg. Tyreke Evans
Sg. Jamal Crawford
Sf.Omri Casspi
Pf. Jason Thompson
C. Demarcus Cousins
Carl Landry is upset with his role and I need some more depth at the small forward position who should I trade him for ??? a good realistic trade. We play a run and gun offense preferably younger player who can develop and get better.
* also to get Crawford I traded Donte Greene, Samuel Dalembert and Beno Udrih to the HawksComment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
17-6 first season blzers. 12min/allstar(may go up)
Traded batum+pryz+1st rnd pick for iggy.
Traded dante+picks for amir johnson
I run the following rotation, uptempo style.
Pg: iggy 40mjn/miller 15/mills 2min
Sg: rudy25min/roy(75 ovr cripple) 20min 6thman
Sf: wes 36min/babbit(3pt bomber) 5-10min, rotate in rudy/math/roy etc
Pf: amir28min/camby(20min)
C: lma 38min/ oden(15min)
Basically starters are up tempo run gun. Rudy/iggy share handles- wes chips in/3pt bomber, amir/lma lithe offensive rbers/pick/roll finishers. Lma #1 option, then iggy, etc. great all around speed/length.
2nd unit plodders/half courters. Miller/roy dominate(pick roll/post/drive), babbit hits occasional 3, oden/camby twin towers, who play more depending on opponents/fouls. Post up oden strong too.
3 of them are injury prone so good to limit chances, great depth tho.
just curious to see how the cap situation pans out, kinda strained as is.
future plan is ride out camby/miller maybe turn them into a quality swingman later on, groom mills/whiteside as backups, and hold onto rest. Oden prolly starts 2nd/3rd yr. Dre9 still in at pg in 3 wing small ball lineup.
Roy might restructure deal(best case scenario) to reflect new role.Last edited by TylerOSU; 12-24-2010, 06:32 AM.NCAA 11:

In year two of my bucks chise, i'm trying to manage rosters trades ect for all 30 teams.
ATM portland have fell far short, they let go of Oden to free agency, they draft well, but aren't really a winning team. Roy has 2yrs $31mill left on his contract and i'm thinking of blowing the team up heading into the next off-season. I have a bunch of picks and am looking to aquire expiring contracts to make a push for Roy.
If he was on my team now, this is what the bucks would look like.
Jennings/Barea
Roy/Salmons/M.Daniels/T.Allen
T.Young/MbahaMoute/Maggette
Sanders/Gooden/Brockman
Bogut/D.Jordan/Valanciunas
in red i've listed the players i'd need to loose to aquire Roy.
championship contenders?

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Just started with the Bucks. I really want to make a dynasty with this franchise and make Andrew Bogut All Star material. I am playing on pro with 10 minute quarters.
I started with these trades...
Bucks Trade:
B. Jennings
M. Redd
L. Sanders
Celtics Trade:
N. Robinson
K. Garnett
smh, you totally rip the bulls off, Gooden for Korver okay but you throw in a 1st round pick to. Gooden just takes away minutes from Taj Gibson & James Johnson and now the bulls have no shooters.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
89-59 at the end of the 3rd, Demar has 33, Raptors have 20 blocks, looking to break their own record, but that's what happens when you 14'4 total feet at the 4 and 5.
Pacers still haven't blocked me, Evan Turner's kinda owning me though. We don't have many boards because of our blocking. Just threw my second inbounds oop! I'll put some pictures and stuff when 2k's stupid servers work.
Currently 23 blocks. 5 1/2 mins. left in the 4th. Make that 24. I have tied the record. 108-82.
Not sure if I'll break the record or not, 2:14 left, Pacers trying to cue a comeback, 20 point game (as opposed to a 29 point deficit.)
With 1:54 left in the game, Sonny Weems blocks a 3 point shot, their 25th block of the game, besting their own record of 24, placed on November 1, 2001.
Sim Bhuller would add another block for good measure, 26 total for the team. Demar Derozan would add 40, earning him Jordan POTG honours."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

'11 first round pick
1. Robinson/A.Parker/G.Dragic
2. A.Parker/T.Allen/Korver (not sure who to start.)
3. Maggette/Korver/K.Adams
4. Garnett/Thabeet/K.Adams/M.Allen/S.Williams
5. Bogut/Thabeet/M.Allen
So far my team are 2-2 with wins against the Hornets and Timberwolves and losses against Bobcats and Portland with Roy scoring 99 points.
Any suggestions of what I should to with my line-up?
And... your on pro, right? Double
Most I've ever scored is 135 with Tim Duncan. On rookie in 2k10 though.Last edited by AC; 12-24-2010, 11:50 AM."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
