Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Well the Cavs got handed their first loss on a horrible offensive performance. Anthony Parker was the leading scorer with 17 while Moon had 15. Mo Williams had 14 points 12 assist and 2 turnovers. Antwan Jamison had 7 Points and 11 rebounds while Varejao had 8 Points 4 rebounds. Sessions was shut down completely in this game so it looks like they will be playing the Nets next after getting handed their first loss of the season.\Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
My problem is actually quite the opposite of yours. I seem to get to the charity stripe a decent amount of time, but the AI team routinely shoots half as much FTs as I even though tendencies are identical for both. This is probably due to the emphasis I place on preventing penetration though. Rarely are there fouls on perimeter jumpshots on both sides.
It could just be my imagination, but since I started going for layups and lowered the dunk abilities I seem to be getting more calls. Don't know if it is true or not, but I think fouls may occur more frequently on layups. Could be due to the contact animations being more likely to trigger a foul.Comment

Big Baby has been hurt the past two and a half games, but I am now 2-9. About to take on the Lakers. I kind of hurt myself by not paying attention and trading both my 1st round picks. So I traded away both my 2nd round picks and Will Bynum for the Grizzlies 1st round pick and Troy Allen.
I wish I hadn't screwed up my picks so much. I have been thinking of trading Hamilton since he's old and Gordon can take his place. But I won't have any solid backup or Gordon. Plus, I like to keep the old Pistons around in Prince and Hamilton.
If you continue to be last in the standings and your original pick ends up being a top 5 you will hate yourself. And I will playfully lol at you.
I would consider the possibility of trading Gordan. He may have A+ potential but at 27 that does not mean a whole lot. But he would still have great trade value so you could trade him for a solid vet with an expiring contract and a 1st round pick and completely rebuild next year. That is just me though. I always want my team's star players to be *my* guys that I drafted/acquired. One of my quirks. (John Wall gets an exception though)Comment

Maybe it's because i need to up it to allstar are well. I imagine the cpu would be more aggressive on D on the higher difficulties as well.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Season1 Mavs (All-30) Association: Beat Boston 92-79 last night. Boston shot 28% from the field in the 1st qtr, and buried themselves into a 32-12 hole...they would come within 4pts of tying midway through the 3rd, but Dallas went on a 6-0 run to push the lead back up to 10 and it would stay at double digits for the rest of the game.
Dirk continues to dominate hanging 31 and 19 on the Celts + 2 blocks. Caron, Marion, and Kidd finished in double figures. Got 12 or so some minutes for both Steve Novak and DeShawn Stevenson which was much needed since their morale was starting to get real low...
I haven't used Jason Terry since my 2nd game because he was injured (playable) with back spasms. His morale has been dropping too (which I thought was supposed to be corrected when the player is injured?), but he's all healed up now and should see the floor in my next game. Which means DeShawn Stevenson will go back to benchwarming duties, and his morale will be plummeting; I need to find a deal for him....
Sent G/F Dominique Jones to the D-League since I just couldn't find minutes for him.
The injury bug has biten the league very hard... Ray Allen was injured in the Boston game mentioned above. Happened in the 1st Qtr, and he broke his ankle...out 8-10 weeks. Once the Boston game was over and I simmed to the next day, the Nuggets lost Carmelo Anthony for 6-8 weeks w/ a broken foot...signed Jarvis Hayes for them in lieu of the injury to Melo.
I have injury frequency/severity both at 53...guessing I can drop this to 50 or slightly below 50 because there's been a lot of injuries with this setting just at 53. There's anywhere from 15-20 players listed as OUT for the league's injury report.Last edited by JBH3; 10-12-2010, 10:18 AM.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
3-5 with the Knicks. I am coming off a 87-80 win @ the Bradley Center against the Milwaukee Bucks. With Wilson Chandler and Anthony Randolph still on the shelf with injuries. I have been getting great production from Amare, TD, Ray Felton, and Gallinari. I do manual subs and ALWAYS have one of the 4 players listed above in the game, otherwise I won't score. I have been getting timely baskets from Roger Mason and Eddy Curry as well. I have went back to Real Player FG% and seem to do much better scoring the basketball.
Im probably going to make a deal soon for a slasher/scorer (Al Thornton or CDR), because for some reason Azubuike is dreadful for me.Comment
