Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
First off I added all the classic teams to replace their present teams except I only put the 95-96 Bulls. I started my association with the Seattle SuperSonics (58 game season, 7minute quarters). I played my first 2 games beat the Hawks in a close one, I did pretty well with Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp, Sam Perkins is money from the 3. After those two games I traded Detlef Shremp to Chicago for Ron Harper, Toni Kukoc, and a 1st rounder. In my next game Shawn Kemp got injured with a lower back strain for a month. Kukoc has been doing great with me I scored 20 and 8 with him last game. I signed Dampier, Damon Jones, Tim Thomas and Marke Madsen and got Jodie Meeks in a trade. So my roster looks like this...
PG-Gary Payton, Ron Harper, DJ
SG-Hersey Hawkins, Jodie Meeks, Ron Harper
SF-Toni Kukoc, Tim Thomas, Ron Harper
PF-Shawn Kemp, Tim Thomas, Tony Battie
C-Sam Perkins, Dampier, Tony Battie
PG-Mark Price (85),Ron Harper(75)
SG-Dominique Wilkins (90), Harper
SF-Toni Kukoc (72),Tim Thomas(60)
PF-Shawn Kemp(90), Thomas
C-Sam Perkins(73), Dampier(60)Milwaukee Bucks Dynasty:

Very Cool, I am thinking about doing a fantasy draft with my hometown Pacers, and just play GM(don't actually play any games), and see what type of team I can build. Only problem with doing that is I'll have to create some draft classes first which takes a couple hours lol...I'd like to see what type of team I can draft tho just for the heck of it.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I hear ya on the turnovers, this game is about stupid with the amount of deflections and interceptions by the AI. I even turned the Hands, and play passing lane sliders to ZERO for the cou, and I still manage to throw at least 5 or 6 interceptions per game!
I'd stick with what's winning games for now and see if u can just get better at ur passing tho...Mo at SG would create mismatches on defense imo, and Parker to SF would as well.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Rate my Pistons team. Should I have a win by now with them? (0-9)
Starting Five
PG: Ben Gordon 77 OVR 27 Yrs Old A+ Pot
SG: Rip Hamilton 77 OVR 32 Yrs Old
SF: Tayshaun Prince 77 OVR 30 Yrs Old
PF: Charlie Villanueva 71 OVR 26 Yrs Old A- Pot
C: Shaquille O'Neal 77 OVR 38 Yrs Old
Sixth Man: Jason Maxiell(PF) 71 OVR 27 Yrs Old B+ Pot
Bench
Rodney Stuckey(PG) 74 OVR 24 Yrs Old A- Pot
Will Bynum(PG) 71 OVR 27 Yrs Old C Pot
Greg Monroe(C) 67 OVR 20 Yrs Old A Pot
Von Wafer(SG) 62 OVR 25 Yrs Old B- Pot
Avery Bradley(PG) 65 OVR 19 Yrs Old A Pot
Austin Daye(SF) 60 OVR 22 Yrs Old B Pot
Glen Davis(PF) 67 OVR 24 Yrs Old B- Pot
Doug Martin(SF) 61 OVR 24 Yrs Old C+ Pot
Glen Davis is hurt right now, but he is usually a big bench player for me as is Maxiell and Monroe. Those three big men can come off the bench and help my offense keep the same pace. I feel like my team is better than my record and rating says. I have played teams close, but lately the past three games have been blowouts because of 4th quarter woes. I really like the youth and potential my team has, but I think the C position should be my top priority right now. Shaq is retiring this year and Monroe will be left there alone at the position. What do you guys think I should do to improve my team?“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Can somebody in association check something for me to make sure it's not just my copy. I just checked who had the worst records in the league so far in my association. One was Toronto at 0-9 and the other was Detroit at 2-7.
I picked one of my worst players (Quinton Ross) and traded is to the Raptors for their worst player and their first round pick and the deal went through. I then traded another terrible player (Kris Humphries) to Detroit for their worst player and their first round pick for both this year and the next and the cpu approved the trade as well. So now i have unloaded two terrible players who never play for the number 1 picks of the two worst teams in the league. That can't be right can it?
Not sure if this should be in the bug / glitch thread (which i steer well clear of) or is it just the cpu making a silly move. I didn't save the association as it seemed way to unfair but just curious what you guys have seen?Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Started an association with the Twolves. I "pretended" that Rubio signed with Twolves this year. I created rubio and he ended up being 78 overall. Not sure if this was realistic so I just left him there. Made a few trades to shake things up.
Trades
Flynn(love Flynn but no use in having 2 great young PGs), Brewer, and Ellington for Mayo and T. Allen.
My first round and Koufos(crappy C) for bucks first round and Larry Sanders
Bucks first round and Darko Milic for Kings first round(got rid of Darko's huge contract)
Ricky Rubio
O.J. Mayo
Wes Johnson
Michael Beasley
Kevin Love
6th man- Larry Sander(really like this big man rookie)
Tony Allen
Martell Webster
Luke Ridnour
Not a great bench but my team is so young and I have so much cap space. Next year I will be able to pick up an elite player to complete my team. Most likely a post. Minny might finally have the first successful season since KG left.
Love this game...Comment
