What do you guys think of this trade...

    Cavs trade: A.Afflalo, '13 and '14 1st round picks
    Thunder trade: J.Harden

The computers logic wont do the trade, but Harden is already talking about leaving through free agency this coming off season. So instead of him just leaving they would get something in return.

Its iffy. I love Afflalo, I just think Afflalo has peaked as a player, whereas Harden can continue to improve, Personally I don't see Harden going anywhere until his rookie extension is up. He's a got a great almost no pressure gig in OKC, and a great beard.

As far as value as a whole goes, it's not bad, but I don't see the Thunder wanting to stockpile picks, I see them more in a win now and getting players to help them do that.

Daye is a project player but coming off the bench he might be able to fill a role as he's not expected to receive much playing time or expected to develop quickly as Aldridge has already locked up PF. But the piece of this trade that is really valuable to the blazers is that first round pick as I'm assuming it's going to be a lottery pick. This pick gives them real chip to bargain with in trading for another key player or drafting a player to help out immediately as a role player.

The Pistons seem to be giving up an awful lot in this trade to get Roy. I have no idea how he is doing in your association, but to me that's an awful lot to give up for a player who has injury problems like Roy has had in the past. But then again if he's healthy and playing up to his potential, they probably would need to give up what they gave up. Plus shedding the contract and burden of Ben Gordon is always a good thing.

The thunder in this deal come out neither on the plus side or negative side in my estimation. Ben Gordon if his contract is expiring can help clear the books and free up cap space for them, and the 1st round pick in 2013 might be a lottery pick which will help them add another impact player to an already solid young nucleus. It seems to me the Thunder are following a two to three year plan to become real contenders for the title for the next decade. Overall, winner of this trade is teh Blazers in a well thought out and fair trade for all teams.

I for got to add that the Pistons also got a 1st round pick in return from the Blazers

Roy is a better player, but injury prone, and I'd just as soon think Detroit would go into full on rebuild instead of getting someone like Roy. Thunder get raped for the most part as Harden fits there team perfectly(tenacious defender, and can make occasional shots, and plays within his means) is a great glue guy, and replace him with Ben Gordon who is a volume shooter who doesn't play defense very well, when they already have two shooters in Durant and Westbrook. The picks should be ok, but if something isn't broke, they shouldn't fix it.

I not sure if you see my signature or not but me ( Blazers) dont have wes Matthews anymore and pistons also got a 1st round pick in return and like a week after i trade roy to Det they extended his contract. Also the Thunder Have j.r Smith and Ben. Gordon so i think they did the trade to improve their weak bench.

Oh well then scratch the Wes Matthews thing(I have sigs turned off)
They traded three picks for one pick and an injury prone star still doesn't seem like a good rebuilding strategy.

The first trade is straight up awful. The Denver Nuggets would have to be high, drunk, bat**** ********, brain dead and in a vegetable state to even consider that trade, and even then they'd probably find some way to say no.

Second one is a wash, IRL they're both best used as suit models now.

This the Nuggets are WAY too high on Faried to toss him for nothing when he's there probable Power Forward of the future after Kenyon Martin leaves.

Yeah not bad, decent value for Aldridge, I don't see the Blazers trading Aldridge, purely based on team reasons, but this is a fair trade otherwise. GJ.

Looking to move DJ Augistine from my updated post draft Charlotte team.

I have a starting back court of Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson so I am trying to ship DJ out because A) his contract will expire this year and I am not willing to devote that money into someone who will just be a back up, and B) another lottery pick in the strong upcoming draft will benefit a lot.

I am looking to move DJ for a pick and maybe a solid young role player off the bench. Here are several options I have recieved so far

Knicks offer: 1st round 2011 pick, Iman Shumpert

Raptors offer: 1st round 2012 pick, Jerryd Bayless

T-Wolves offer: 1st round 2012 pick, Luke Ridnour

Warriors offer: 1st round 2011 pick, Dorrel Wright
                          ---------------ADD Dante Cunningham

Wizards offer: 1st round 2012 pick, Nick Young

What do you guys think of these offers? Do any of them sound worth going for? I am really looking to build the team around Kemba, Henderson, Tyrus, and Biyombo, so keeping these players free and able to get minutes is a must.

I am well aware that this years team should be about a 20-30 win team so taking a hit in ratings to give the guys a chance to develop would not be a bad thing if I could land a solid pick for DJ.

                          Thanks
