Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread

Alright, if someone wouldnt mind helping me out.

So far in my T'Wolves in association, I traded Darko to Pacers for 2nd round pick. To clear some cap to make room for Wes Johnson and the 1st round pick for OJ Mayo. Lastly, I wanted to get rid of ridnour, I just cant stand him in 2k12. So the Jazz counter offered me, Ridnour, 2 12' second round picks and 13's first for E. Kanter, Jeremy Evans, 12' first round. Would these be fair and or realistic. I think the first two are but the Jazz ones sketch, Jazz arent in need of a SG that bad, and they lose there back up center. I am kinda just hoping you guys will say its fair, but I need honesty haha.

    TL;DR

Darko to pacers for 2nd rounder. (clear cap)

Wes Johnson and 1st for OJ Mayo (I realize I am slightly overpaying for him)

Ridnour, 2 13' second rounders, 13' first rounder for E. Kanter, Jeremy Evans, 12' first rounder. (sketchiest)

Of these 3 which ones are fair/realistic?

I think Darko trade is fair, OJ Mayo too - he's escaping Memphis, maybe he isn't heading to Minnesota, but your trade is strictly fair. The last one isn't fair, realistic and whatever ****. Just 2k trade.

edit: he doesn't actually want to be traded, but he said he is going to free agency
I think realistically you could get more for D-Will than Martin and Scola, but as long as you're happy with the deal, do it. It's definitely fair for both the Rockets and Lakers.

Took me weeks of my life but i managed to get Dwight Howard from Magic
          3 team deal

I am the Thunder in my first season so...

Thunder got: Dwight Howard from Magic
Jordon Farmer & 1st Round Pick *current* from Nets

Magic got: Kendrick Perkins, James Harden, Nick Collinson, 1st Round Pick *current* (Thunder)
1st Round Pick *current* from the (Nets)

Nets got: Serge Ibaka, 2nd Round Picks (currnet & next)

So now i'm rocking Howard, Durant & Westbrook as my stars.
I miss Harden tho, due to a lack of scoring of the bench.

p.s at the time i was able to make the trade happen Dwight Howard was in the rumour mill. Which makes any deal a little more easier. I tried about 50+ plus different deals lol. Almost gave up on him and thought about going for Lamarcus Aldrige.

Any thoughts on this? Or has anyone else managed to get hold of Howard via a trade.

So, I'm managing Lakers and googled possible trades for D12/Deron and found these three..

              1)
              Magic get: Bynum(Lakers) & Artest(Lakers)
Lakers get: Howard and Turkoglu(Magic) and Deron Williams (Nets)
              Houston get: Gasol(Lakers)
              Nets get: Martin(Rockets) and Scola(Rockets

              OR...

              2)
Magic get: Bynum, Fisher and Barnes(Lakers) and Lowry(Rockets)
Lakers get: D12, Duhon, Q. Richardson(Magic) and Scola
              Rockets get: Gasol (Lakers)

              OR

              3)
Lakers get: Dwight and Turkoglu(Magic), Deron Williams(Nets)
              Magic get: Bynum and Walton(Lakers)
              Nets get: Gasol(Lakers)

              Thoughts??

Yea that would be foolish to trade Pau Gasol past his prime for a young PG in Deron Williams?

                  Heres a simple trade:

                  * PG Baron Davis (NYK)

                  For

                  * SF Tracy McGrady (ATL)

Both need help in those positions.

might be but they thought about doing it and anyone would take a Power Forward that can play center, 7'0, good midrange shooter, good passer and can rebound good. Plus it is the nets you know if they dont resign Williams they will get desperate

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread

Ok i am the Pistons, i need a PF that can score a little and cam grab some boards, i was thinking about this deal:

                      Pistons Get: Andray Blatche
Wizards Get: Charlie Villanueva, '12 2nd Rd Pick,'13 2nd Rd Pick.

It might not seem like fair value but look at from this point of view. Washington want Blatche gone, i want charlie V gone, they sheed 2 years off his contract they have a team option on Charlie V that they can pass up, so it creates some cap room for them.

For me i get a rebounder and some one that can score, yes i add salary but i will lose Gordon in the next 2 years and more then likely Maxiell.

It also gives them another pair of 2nd rounders.

I am using Bed's roster so Blatche is only rated 5 points higher the Charlie V and he is averaging 4.7 PPG and 4.1 RPG for Washinton at the moment.

I like it, not a major trade but something that benefits both teams. Great points you made about Charlie V's team option. Makes sense, I say nice realistic trade.

I don't have a trade but I was looking for input. I'm the Blazers and right now I'm only playing a little above .500 ball. Right now Aldridge is averaging 26.6ppg and 7.8 rpg. I'm pleased with how he's playing but I don't want so much of the scoring load on his shoulders. I am looking to make the transition to starting Batum. In order to do that I want to move Gerald Wallace. I'm looking for a SG that can put up 18-22 ppg. Something around there. I was looking at OJ Mayo. Any ideas on how I might be able to bring him in? Or if you have any other SG's out there that you think would be a good fit?

See Memphis don't need wallace so trading him for mayo would't benifit them. i would sayuse your shooting guards that you for right now or try trading little pieces like your young guys to try and get mayo.

I would try to trade for one of the unheralded scoring guards out there, and also try to take back a 1st rounder (maybe exchange 1sts in the trade if it's a lower end team) because if you're still having scoring issues at the end of the season, the upcoming draft (if you play with draft classes) is stacked and you could pluck Rivers, Davis, Lamb, or about a dozen other guys to fill the scoring for you.

The guys that come to mind that are lower rated yet high scoring guys (in the game, easy shot, catch fire often) Reggie Williams (Bobcats, unrealistic since they traded G. Wallace to the Blazers to begin with, but if you have another player or two you want to get rid of), Anthony Morrow isn't the most consistent, but is consistent enough to get you 10-15 points some nights, and 20-30 other nights, Michael Redd is surprisingly effective as well. And if you want a scoring point guard/shooting guard, Terrico White I've found is pretty ridiculous. He has a nasty dunk/layup rating and can finish with ease.

If you get one of those guys from the Bobcats/Nets/Suns/Whoever has White, and pick up a first round pick, you might fill the gap this season, and get an outstanding player next season, just my 2 cents.

Baron Davis was unhappy in my franchise with Lin and Shumpert playing over him. Plus the Knicks have an overload of PG and SG players. The headlines said the Pacers were interested in Baron, so I traded him straight up for Tyler Hansbrough. I am not a huge Hansbrough fan but gives me another PF for now.
