That along with many others in the "How I swindled the CPU" trade thread.

I rate that a 0/10. Mavs lose their franchise player for a PG they don't need and a Randolph? You robbed them

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread

I've been doing a Celtics season for a couple days now and second for best record in the league behind the Mavericks (who are 38-6, I'm 37-7) in the month of January. I tried to keep Nate Robinson but he kept wanting minutes and I gave him thirty minutes a game as a sixth man and yet he still wanted more! He wasn't even putting up good numbers for thirty minutes. So then I looked at the headlines in association and noticed Tracy McGrady wanted out, so I did this:

      Celtics Receive:
      Tracy McGrady
      Will Bynum

      Pistons Receive:
      Nate Robinson
      Marquis Daniels
      2011 1st Round Pick

I'm thinking this is pretty good considering I get about eleven points from T-Mac and he plays just fifteen minutes (and seven ppg from Will Bynum fyi :P)

So now I get O.J Mayo and Thabeet in my Associaten with the Timberwolves and have the chance to trade Thabeet for Przybilla. Would you make the trade or just wait to get an other Center?

My Starting Five looks like this:

        Flynn
        Mayo
        W. Johnson
        Love
        Thabeet/ maybe Przybilla?

I dont see how this is fantasy tho, my logic is the wizards want to get rid of arenas at any cost and there were no takers, so they wanted ryan anderson and rashard lewis and my 2012 2nd for arenas, yi jialian, cartier martin, Vince Carter's morale dropped and wanted a trade and the hawks wanted stanley robinson and carter and my 1st in next years draft for johnson and i traded jameer nelson for azubuike and randolph and i needed turkolu to run the point forward. So why cant i do this to compete with the heat in the east.

You ripped off the CPU, it's ok. Look around most people do it.

Would you do that trade if you were the Wizards? I sure wouldn't

First off I messed up the trade I gave them Daniel Orton, Rashard Lewis, and 2012 1st for Arenas and Kevin Seraphin. Then I traded Jameer Nelson, Ryan Anderson, and quentin richardson, for Josh Howard, Yi Jianlian, and Cartier Martin and a 2011 second. I acquired Joe Johnson from the Hawks because He was upset and so was VC so I traded Stanley robinson and VC and a 2011 2nd from the wiz for Johnson. I got Turk from the Suns because they're rebuilding So I give em Howard's expiring contract, JJ Redick and 2012 second for a 2012 1st and Turk. I developed Seraphin and then moved him and brandon bass to the knicks for randolph and kelenna.

in the end the wiz have a young veteran pg to help develop wall and a shot blocking center to back up mcgee and anderson to back up blatche along with a first round pick in the austin rivers draft and veteran outside shooting with Lewis and Q. I dont want to live and die by the 3 so thats why I moved lewis, Q, and redick and got scorers who can shoot the 3 and I want to develop Yi with Howard. How did I Rip Off the comp

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread

The question is would you do that if you were Washington?

Here's a trade I just had go through:

Knicks (2-4, not looking so great this year in a 29-gm season)

                  - C Ronny Turiaf (66) | 1-yr @ $4.10M (Player option for 2012)
                  - SG Roger Mason Jr. (68) | 1-yr @ $1.35M
                  - SF C.J. Miles (61) | 1-yr @ $3.70M
                  - '12 2nd round pick

Thunder (4-2, looking like they need some veteran depth to help in the post season)

                  - C Nenad Krstic (59) | 1-yr @ $5.80M
                  - SG Daequan Cook (59) | 1-yr @ $2.17M
                  - '11 1st round pick (Right now projecting #20 or higher)

                  _________________________--

                  Knicks outlook:

Playoffs are unlikely this season and I will look to develop young guys (Mozgov) and others. I want to get some assets for the draft so I can try to move up to get a young stud.

                  Thunder outlook:

They are looking to be a contender. They have Harden at the 2 with Sefalosha as a backup. Mason Jr. is an upgrade and has that playoff experience. Then at center they are young with Aldrich. Turiaf gives them another vet with plenty of experience and he's a big upgrade of Krstic.

They give up their 1st rounder but they already have the pieces they need, development is all they need.

Don't really see that happening as Turiaf is a pretty good upgrade over Kristic, but still is not that good, and not worth risking their chemistry for. Also, they don't need another shooting guard as they like having Sefolosha, a defensive stopper, and Harden, a beast who can drive and shoot even though he was timid last year, get most of the playing time. Adding another wing is the last thing they need with Miles as they are pretty stocked on those type of players, and then they get rid of their first round pick for a decent second round pick, overall a bad trade for the Thunder in my opinion. But hey, it's your franchise, do what you will buddy.

                          Anthony Randolf

                          Suns Trade:
                          Steve Nash
                          Future 2nd Round pick

Seems like a fair trade because Randolf would start at PF and offers potential. Felton is a relatively young PG as well.

The Knicks(me) get an All-Star PG and reunite Amare, Nash, D'Antoni. Only problem is it leaves a hole at C. Thoughts?

How does this leave a hole at C? Randolph is a PF, as is Amare. Run Turiaf at the 5 and grab some random tall guy in FA to back him up.

Grading your trade...it's decent. Phoenix is in the middle of rebuilding and contending. The Childress and Hedo contracts are really hurting them, so I don't know if they would go ahead with this trade unless they got a 1st rounder over the 2nd.

Terrible trade for the Hornets who want to be under the cap, so getting rid of Peja and his 15 mil is pointless. From your end though, great job

For some reason it listed Randolf and Amare starting together thats why I thought there was a hole in the lineup.

In any case, do you think it'd be better if the trade was:
