The pass logic just needs to be a bit better. When guys reset off a board in real life they often throw a mini lob back out to the perimeter, they literally just throw a chest pass towards the defender 90% of the time in this game.

I do wish the lead passing was more effective on the perimeter. It would really help with ball movement, setting up shooters and just the overall feel of the game. It's one thing I've missed since 2k8, when they fixed the lead passing inside for 2k9 we also lost the responsiveness of it on the perimeter.

If they found a way to combine the perimeter lead passing of 2k8 with the players awareness of the 3pt line in 2k11 it would truly be a thing of beauty.
I totally argee.I think there no animation for the big guy to throw a lob pass are overhead pass.I have the same problem as you jwill, when my big gets the rebound are the ball in the low post and I want to kick it out its always a chestpass and that's when I get my turnovers.I put ch2k8 in and did the same thing I seen 3 differnet animations for th bigs kicking it out to the perimeter those where an overhead pass, chestpass and bounce pass to the perimeter.if they have the animation its not coming up for some reason.

The real probelm is that most of us have been spoiled by 2k10. We have gotten used to throwing passes in the lane uncontested for years and now that 2k has tightened down the D..... we don't know how to react. WE HAVE TO PLAY BASKETBALL AND NOT ARCADE BALL. There is a couple of things that can be improved on but passing is not one of them. You have to take your time and not try to force anything. Let the game come to you.....

I don't think the turnovers are off... for the user. But it seems that the computer plays pretty much perfect. I don't mind getting 20 turnovers some games, but when the computer is getting about 1 or 2 that's kind of odd.

My first game with 2k11 my new nickname was Fed Ex because I was delivering the ball to the other guys all the time....
Once I learned the lead pass AND unlearned what 2K10's passing lanes were.. I've been pretty good since. I still have my "Dumb ###! You knew not to throw that!" moments but overall it's cool.

I stay away from the glitch etc.. threads so there may be other issues that frankly I'll probably never notice because of not going there.
Love the game and it's pure enjoyment/fun.

I do miss that "anti-cheese" code from the other game that makes it impossible to do dump off passes in the post when you are standing right next to each other, though.

And this is the TRUTH the only time i have an excessive amount of turnovers is when i just sling the ball around with a cavalier attitude.

The difficulty of the inside out pass is related to the ratings. Bigs have low pass ratings. Too low. I believe it was a failed effort to reduce cherry picking. Too many guys have 25s-33s like they are really uncoordinated and lack fundamentals.

you will learn what passing truelly is..2k11 is teaching you new guys how passing works. A dog has to get spanked 20 times before it learns. WEll same thing with the steal/turnovers in 2k11. What i do now is, i look at the player im controlling (TRUELLY LOOK AT HIM) and i make sure that im at distance when i pass the ball.....this is simulation to the highest power. personally i wish they made it even more harder, but that just me.

you will learn my son...a true jedi feelsssssssssss the flow of the force

Thats an insult to the NCAA. NBA 2k10's pass defense was so poor that we took it for granted when they were just half bad.

This was 2k10 being half bad but we didnt complain about this.
