Passing is the best it's been in any 2k. Defenders have active hands and make you pay for bad decisions. Don't change a thing just because there's a few dozen people that don't understand how to play a game that isn't easy and that they can't win by 50 points just by showing up. If they don't want to put the time in to learn the game, that's their fault, and their problem. For those of us that don't shy away from a good challenge, enjoy a learning curve, and are basketball purists. Please leave it as is.

I've been icon-passing since the dreamcast days. Now, just give me the option to bounce pass, chest past, or lob pass and I'll be in heaven.

I absolutely do NOT want passing touched this year. For the first time in a basketball video game, there is some real differentiation between players with a high skill for passing and those who are considered to be 'normal' or not so good passers (haven't had anyone outside of CP3 on my team come close to dishing 10 assist).

Yeah this was the first game where I would consider going three guard. I went small to beat the Heat online with Miller, Bayless, and Roy together. We were working that rock!!! In any other game that would be a fools tactic. In 2k8 people would rather put Ray Allen at PG than Rondo.

Played someone who put Mello at PG. He had like 4 turnovers.

Fix the deep pass, doctor the contact off the lead pass, and add some common sense to the ratings. Besides that its smooth.

haven't played too much yet but adding a bounce pass option would be nice. unless there is one and I just haven't seen it yet.

I don't want it easy. But I don't want to feel cheated either.

I do turn the ball over. But I make nice passes too.

The game is fair to me. Which is all I ask.

I'm cool with the passing. It's real and I'm ok with it. It takes some time to get the hang of it but, I'm getting there.

having the defenders draped all over my PF teammate 25 feet away from the basket who refuses to move.....is stupid.

I'm watching the Thunder/Heat game right now...passing in this game is OBVIOUSLY not nearly as wide open as real life.

Hate to be the lone dissenter in here (actually I kinda like it) but the passing needs one fix. The "A" button passing shouldn't be A as in "A"utomatic Turnover button. Too me it's kinda dumb that if I make a pass with icon it gets to the man no problem but if I make the SAME pass with the A button it's a turnover. Other than that, passing is fine.

I like the passing mechanics a lot, except for the amazing full court passes off rebounds.
