I give up. I just played a game on all star using real fg%. I wanted to give it another try since it was another brickfest from my teammates using shotstick in player lock association mode. Well guess what? In the first quarter my teammates went 0-13 and eric gordon shot 0-5 from 3-point range. All open 3 pointers were nothing but bricks.

I'm going back to pro. Player lock mode is just not fun when I'm cheated like this. I'll try out some real fg% sliders in this forum and hopefully they'll work.

Just beat Miami 102-97 with Rajon Rondo and the Celtics. Dropped 18 points, 13 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 4 turnovers.

Created my player PG using my player stats for the clippers, because i wanted to play with Blake for the pick n roll

I have been a hardcore MP mode player. That's vitally the only mode I have played since I got the game. But after reading all of this topic, the player lock association sounds AWESOME. The only complaint I had on the MP mode is that I shoot way too good and my teammates don't really do what they should. Ex I'm on the bulls and Derek rose shoots nothing but threes and only scores 13 ppg. Not realistic at all. I never thought about doing player lock and being able to adjust sliders and fixing all of these issues. I can't wait to try this!!!!

Well I tried it today. I went with Blake Griffin. First game he beasted on the glass with 23 boards and had a solid 24 points with 3 assists. We beat the blazers 89-87.

However second game in playing the Warriors, I got off to an awesome start 16 points and 8 boards at half and right at the start of the third qtr he gets a severe ankle sprain out 2-4 weeks

i didnt post here for a while but was still following this thread : )

i kinda gave up on this "mode", i mean, i have a problem with the fact that u can receive a pass everytime u press A : ( what about u guys? i just cant control myself and dont trust my teammates enough in general, which leads me to abuse that A button smh

+ i just found that myplayer mode on superstar/default is the most realistic/most challenging mode out there IMO (except draft combine and summer circuit that are totally glitched)

what u guys think?

Yeah that is what I wound up doing. But while Griffin was out we went 3-12. They def need me back lol. I really like playing this way. It makes the game feel more realistic and I like having to rely on your teammates. It adds a different element to the game when you play with player lock. I like it!

Think I might give this a shot... Ive grown bored of My Player and cant settle on a team in association. Ill probably sim the 1st season and make a top prospect that I can draft and use as my player lock. I think Ill do my own management of the team though. The CPU is dumb as rocks when it comes to trading and signing players.

I play on pro cuz if I do all star or anything higher it seems my teammates have completely lost their ability to play basketball. I play 12 min qtr and I just tweaked the sliders to make the CPU shoot better and be more competitive. It's working pretty good so far. Had really gold games with pretty realistic stats

What do you do when your "player" is subbed out?

Does anyone have the answer to this? I am really into trying player lock but am wondering what happens when subbed out. Thanks. This thread has been really helpful since I too am frustrated with My Player mode.

thinking about giving this a try. with a created player. what attributes are you guy boosting up the most with your created player. Since your only allowed 1 drill per month. how are you guys progressing. do you max out dunks speed quickness etc..
