Re: Who would you take LeBron or Kobe?
In 2k I'd take Kobe. Just because I know how to use this guy more than I do for LeBron. And because I actually try to make every single game that I play on 2k challenging (where a win is not garunteed everytime). Because I'm challenged, I prefer someone who I have a better feel for which is Kobe. Even if he's old, at least I know I have a better shot at getting a ring because I know how to use him.
IRL it's gotta be LeBron just because he sells out the seats, he's young, and he's pratically a globetrotter.Comment

Re: Who would you take LeBron or Kobe?
In 2k its Lebron, no doubt about it. He is way younger than Kobe and has unlimited potential. It also seems like in every Association season i do he wins MVP.
In Real Life I gotta go with Kobe. Hardest working, most skilled player in the league. Lebron has all the talent and potential in the world but Kobe is the better basketball player. Kobe also has a competitive fire that Lebron doesn't seem to have developed yet. We all saw how he gave up against the celtics last year.Comment

Re: Who would you take LeBron or Kobe?
...says the Miami fan. I'd choose Kobe over any player in the league. No one is more clutch and at the same time adapts his play game by game. LeBron can get to the hoop obviously, but beyond that his jumpshot is streaky and his clutch/motivation is subpar.Comment

Alot of players are more clutch. See http://espn.go.com/blog/TrueHoop/pos...in-crunch-time. 36/115 (31.3%) in clutch situations since '96-'97. I also love that stat in there where over a 5 year period he shot 56 clutch shots and only managed to have 1 assist in that time period.
You're right about him adapting, nobody else in the NBA would take 10+ of his team's shots in a row like he did yesterday against the Celtics. From 7:04 in the 4th quarter to 1:49 remaining in the game, he shot every. single. one. of the Lakers' shots.Comment
