Re: Who would you take LeBron or Kobe?
Seriously, a lot of you guys have taken this thread to a whole different level. You've gone beyond a simple question of who you would take on your team and you've turned it into a debate on whose more greater IRL. Mods should consider closing this thread.
If you guys want to debate about real life basketball then please go to this link and create a thread about it (if there already isn't one):

Re: Who would you take LeBron or Kobe?
in 2k lebron no question reasons: even 97 ratings but bron is younger, stronger, faster, better dribbler/passer/rebounder, and the biggest positive of all is he can play the 1-4 on offense or defense (kobe could play the 1-3 but put him on a PF and watch him get abused)Comment

i referenced brons age cause in the game kobe will retire before bron does and if ur tryna build a team u want ur star player to be around for a long time right...following ur logic about how age doesnt matter that would mean youd have a team full of aging stars and after two seasons i can guarantee youd probably be asking yourself why you didnt go younger, i know i would lolComment

Re: Who would you take LeBron or Kobe?
one quick point about an argument i saw on another page in this thread... kobe without another all-star with him couldnt even win 45 games, but bron in his FIRST FOUR SEASONS (before he was 22 years old!!) was able to take a team of role players to the finals (a la allen iverson with the sixers) so dont ever say he wasnt or isnt good enough to be "the man"Comment

on topic: Lebron gets 6+more seasons than Kobe in 2k11, that's why i would pick him.Comment

Re: Who would you take LeBron or Kobe?
I think that's his point. That we shouldn't give LeBron that much credit for taking his team to the Finals the year he got swept by the Spurs because there was pretty much nobody in the East.NFL: Bills
NBA: Bucks
MLB: Cubs
NCAA: Syracuse
Soccer: USMNT/DC United

Re: Who would you take LeBron or Kobe?
But to say there was no one in the East is kind of....( I don't want to say stupid.... Someone fill it in with another word lol). But you know what I mean. They beat the Pistons who had won the East 2 years in a row before (beat the LA in the Finals and lost to Spurs the year before in game 7). To call it a "cake walk" (as I've heard over the years). Would take away from every team that has won the finals or conference over the years. People can make the argument for the Lakers the last 3 years. "That because they play in the West. They don't play any strong team until they get to the finals."
I've heard this over and over again. Regardless of what is said. LeBron James went to the Finals.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories
