please just don't butcher Shawn Kemp's face/body again. I was so happy he was in the game until I saw his face/body. Kemp was my favourite player to watch growing up, we was electrifying. He also has/had a unique looking face that the game doesn't capture at all, AND he was easily one of the most ripped guys if not THE most in all of the NBA - yes later in Clevland he put on the pounds, but not even close while he was in Seattle.

Some guys got attention while others like Kemp were thrashed.

I know this is an old topic but to piggy back off of the Kemp issue, whether it be new teams or old teams, the old faces have to go. I think 2K needs to scale back on the facial shadowing. A lot of the young players look "Greg Oden old" in the face. 22 year old guys with deep skin folds, laugh lines and wrinkles isn't that common and its something they need to fix so these young players actually look young on these teams.

In the 2K11 the retro players didn't look old so why worry? Olden looks old in the game cause he looks old in real life too.

Whatever. Old face whether its a handful or guys or not, is and has been a problem. Faces in general on 2k11 are messed up. It's been mentioned ad nauseum on here so if you don't mind it, cool. There are plenty who do.

What's with your tone? Are you Gred Oden?

Your post tried to indicate that the historic players didn't look young enough (since this is a thread about classic teams and not current) and I don't agree.
Besides, I haven't heard anyone else complain about players looking too old.

He definetly looks older than he is. I agree they might have made him look TOO old in 2K11, but his cyberface isn't far off.

He's a current player though, which this thread isn't about.

Having used the Sonics today, I was thinking the same thing. It's stuff like this for which I'm curious about the actual process. Are there only certain pictures 2K has the rights to use? What prevents them from using Shawn Kemp's profile picture from '96? Are there any other '96 guys who have their '96 picture used? I wonder if they'd have to buy the rights to an old picture and they're just looking to be a little frugal by using pictures they may already have the rights to (aged Shawn Kemp, aged and clean shaven Vlade Divac).

How would you rate (in terms of shooting) Iverson that year?

I was playing with a Iverson the other day that had 70 rating in med and 3pt shooting. It wasn't like I couldn't drop buckets with his. I think because his SOD and SIT were 99.

And how would they rate Chris Webber the following year on the Kings?
