I just started a chise on 2k11 with Legends added. Cant wait to do the same in 2K12. Never had so much fun with legends before. Bird killed me. Jordan killed me. Even John Starks got off on me. Only way to play this year since there is no season and no rooks.

I actually did this last year. I threw MJ on the Bulls, Drexler on the Blazers, Bird on the Celts etc. It was alot of fun, until i started playing them on higher difficulty levels and getting creamed lol

All I'm hoping to do is pick a classic team, get rid of generics, add few current free agents & then replace a few current bad teams with classics. Hopefully this can be done! Obviously it won't be easy lol!

I like doing a fantasy draft. I replaced all the 59 and lower rated players with the legends instead of replacing teams. I had a lineup like :Magic Johnson, Ray Allen, Orlando Woodrich, Charles Oakley and Kevin McHale at center. Good games.

You have to go into a season/association to trade them to another legend team or any team for the matter even for regular created teams you need to do those steps first.

ok thanks for your answer, this is what i have read since the beginning of this thread!!
but i thought that was the only way for people who just wanted to play in association with legend team. It's not my aim to play with legend in association that's why i believed it was different of my question.
So if i understood well, the problem is the same, and we can't trade easily any legends without make a season or an association.

so it's an extraordinary deep penetration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks you 2k, we love that !!!!!!!!!

Yes if you want them in the association make the trade in association so you can have them on whatever legend team with the right court. If you dont mind if its the wrong court go to season mode and export the teams and trade them or trade them in the season mode

No you do not Read the steps in the original post carefully.

actually I copied your OP and put it on my iPhone last night before I tried the Create A Legend.

First I saw that there were only the default teams available for CAL. So I followed your steps:

1.Start new season mode with number of teams you plan to export

I started a new season with only one I had just unlocked: the 94 Rockets. I replaced the Sacramento Kings with the 94 Rockets.

2.Once in season export the team(s).(Important you must click the right stick on the headlines menu to what team you want to export)

I exported the team from the Season (saved the file and named it King Hakeem).

3.Leave season mode.

I went back to the main screen.

4.Load the exported team(s)

Under what option/feature can u load the team?

5.Trade the legends you want onto the CURENT TEAM you want them to be on.(ex. ORL Shaq to new Lakers for Bynum or any other player)

this is where I got lost. I couldn't find any way to trade players unless I was in a season.

6.Save Roster and Start up NBA:CAL or MY PLAYER

I'm sure the previous point is my stumbling block. I couldn't see any way to trade a player through the roster option. Since I hadn't played NBA 2K in 7 years I may be slightly behind the curve here.
