that would be the 85' Sixers create a quick CAP of Charles Barkley and add him to that team

this might be better news than what was originally thought but not being able to edit the legend teams directly is still a deal breaker for me personally. i might get the game eventually but im not excited about it anymore. now if beluba dropped in here and said they are working on a day one patch to fix this issue it would go back to being a release day purchase but thats not likely going to happen.

I mean I didnt try to make it look exactly like him (not real good at Creating players) I'm just saying you have the ability to create him and add him to the team to play in Association, season, or fantasy draft

Yeah, that is a bummer, I was looking forward to seeing your CAPs. This really should be a patchable issue, though. Here's hoping.

Ok new way I found..
1.Start new season mode with 10 user controled teams (10 teams being the legends and the 10 user controlled teams)
2.Once in season export all the teams.(Important you must click the right stick on the headlines menu to what team you want to export)
3.leave season mode.
4.Load all the exported teams
5.Assign players to exported legends teams to have full rosters.
6.Release Legends you want into FA pool
(Have to repeat step 5 to be able to keep releasing legends)
7.Once you've released the legends you want into the FA pool, delete the exported teams.
8. Go back to rosters and they should be in FA pool.

By deleteing the created teams it allows you to open those 10 slots back up and do 10 more legends teams in season mode then export and repeat process

@gmcrb28 You my friend definitely did a great thing with taking the time to find this out for the community. You have saved the gaming experience for me with this. Now hopefully 2K can patch this since it is something that is a bit redundant but nonetheless, you did the community a services that deserves many thanks.

And as a question for moving the legends into free agency, do we have to exchange players with the exported team? or is it as simple as just assigning them into free agency?

So did you add Chuck and Toney to the Sixers? So we have to do this through custom season?

So we have to load up the rosters each time if we want to play a quick game with them in the roster?

You can do it through custom season or through association.. They just have to be in the free agent pool.

And to play with them in regular play now yes you have to load them because you cant assign players to the original legend teams
