The only real problem I see is with not being able to edit the ages.

Even though I do agree they need to patch it to where you can have the freedom w/o doing all of this

I admit this one can be seen as a nitpick, but I'm still a little bummed I'll have to beat each Legend challenge without having the ability to edit the rosters first (or ever). I want to experience the commentary and presentation for each and every game, but it's going to be tough to do with certain matchups where rosters are short or accessories too inaccurate. Speaking of which, are there old-school shoe generics for the classic 70's and prior matchups?

Secondly, I just haven't been able to wrap my head around the feasibility of creating a full season this year (ex: the 1995 NBA Season). Will this work with the workaround? I want to say it will, but I'm also wondering if the difficulty of such a process will scare away talented roster creators. The ten exported classic teams could be saved to a single roster file right? Then uploaded to 2K? With their proper jerseys and arenas?

If all that is true, then it looks like the only drawback will be the inability to edit anything about the actual "Greatest" mode. And maybe that's just my problem. I think I just have a thing for perceived historic authenticity. The fun and enjoyment of the Jordan Challenge multiplied for me after I got my hands on portlandblazer's 2KShare Jordan Challenge roster featuring completely accurate rosters, accurate accessories, socks, and as close as we could come with shoes. Each game then truly felt like stepping into a time warp. Immersion was off the charts. Now I'm afraid I'll just be spending a lot of the Greatest games waiting for a couple of generic #99 guys to check in.

But clearly, it could be worse. At least we've found out what we have. I just still don't see why 2K would take such a step backward. I'd have to think something necessitated such a move in programming. It's definitely unfortunate.

Do the classic teams have alternate uniforms? Ex: Bulls, Magic

How many people used a classic team in association last yr? I used the 91 Lakers & replaced the Bulls, Pistons & Jazz with classic versions. I saw then that I didn't have access to alternate jerseys. Only way I got them was to replace current players with classic players. Like you could replace Kobe's team with Magic's & get the jerseys. Long shorts though. I also noticed the never mentioned my team on the matchup screen. It would say "The Lakers travel to the Spurs & their great forward Tim Duncan. " I just think the developers didn't address using the classic in a current association. Awesome game though! Can't wait to get the new one!

Actually you can edit EVERYTHING for the legend players (to play in the NBA's Greatest Mode) except for their name, DOB, Facial features and skin color. Hope this helps or makes things a lil better

l'd be shocked if this wasn't fixed in a patch. They'll fix it. lt was standard in 2k11, enough people will complain about it, 2k will be made well aware of it by this community, and it'll get done.

How can you be so sure?Just because it was standard in 2k11? I highly doubt they would fix it and let us trade in 2k13 for, partly, sales purpose. You know 2K tend to backstab..:o

Let's hope that Vlad's "Reditor" can fix some of these editing issues when he gets a chance to get his hands on a roster file and see what's up OR 2K can do us all a REAL BIG favor and fix it on their end instead.
