Re: Yea I pretty much lied lol
When your in association/season....you go to your save option/tab and in there will be a section "export team" and that will save the team you have in association so you can load them up and play exibition games or restart a custom league again with your new teamLast edited by NY State of Mind; 09-30-2011, 03:49 AM.Comment

Re: Yea I pretty much lied lol
I can't sleep if I don't know the answer to my question.
All I want is to have 2 legends putting on each current teams and do an association with it. It was my dream league. Now I heard conflicting report about we can't do it in Main Roster and FORCE to do this complicated export stuff. It is sooo confusing!! 2k loves to punish us for no reasons.NBAComment

Re: Yea I pretty much lied lol
I know in NBA 2k11 you could change salaries in edit player BEFORE you start an association. So unless they removed that ability everything will work fine along as your just exporting teams cause if you try that and play the actual association the player will be unhappy cause of low wages lolComment

Re: Yea I pretty much lied lol
You see, 2K intend to put some drawbacks as an insurance for every new release. That's part of the sales tactic because they would fix those problems for the new ones so everybody would feel like there's a huge improvement. But once you get it, you'd realize there are other flaws that bug the heck out of you. Next thing, they fix the problem and you get fed up by other small things again, making you to anticipate for the next one. Imagine if they made a perfect game(which they could). Customers would hardly buy a new version unless there's a HUGE improvement. The company have to work extra hard for the new model and for a company like 2K who have to release the new game every year, it's a big NO NO.PSN=Coolcas7Comment

Re: Yea I pretty much lied lol
2 questions :
1. can we export as many teams as we want? (if i wanna play CAL with 30 classic teams)?
2. (this one i am dreaming lol but it's worth a try)
as MP and CAL start automatically with the current 30 teams, my guess is that (after the export + trades process) IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to have classic jerseys/arenas in the mode(s), correct?Comment

When you export a team from your association into the game it takes one of the created teams spots right?
But In 2k11 when you try to trade players on the created team to a NBA team. They won't let you...a message would pop up and say you have to change your team around in the create a team menu something like...I don't know what it said exactly...I don't know if its the same in 2k12 but we will seeGamertag: BEEDEETANKComment

Re: Yea I pretty much lied lol
You can export as many teams as you like depending on your memory storage, however you can only load 10 at once since each team takes created team slots....so I don't see a league with 30 classic teams running..sorry unless they changed the max created teams (ofcourse I'm not counting the classic teams already in the game...you can obviously have 30 teams using those)
And you can't use Legends in Your My Player cause I don't think you can have a custom league in MPLast edited by NY State of Mind; 09-30-2011, 05:00 AM.Comment

And once you export a team it is copied players so yes you can't trade them in your regular rosters menu for exhibition games....but once you start up an association with them you will be able to trade like a regular team....just make sure to get rid any copied players on other rosters unless you prefer having 2 Kobe Bryants or whatever
And to avoid all those Salary Cap Issues for trades just use SEASON mode instead of Association if its still available in 2k12 cause its the easiestLast edited by NY State of Mind; 09-30-2011, 05:05 AM.Comment
