How long would you say it took you to get to 80-82 ovr?
Also how did the teams you were on in the past do because I am on the Sixers and somehow were 2-9 and we have Bynum, J-Rich and Holiday and Bynum is the only one on his best averages the rest are on carer lows.

80-82 OVR...Hmmm...currently I'm on 95 OVR in my fourth season, so, during the playoffs during my rookie year. But then I played all of the games. For more realism, simming would work and it would take much longer to get that good. Before my Grizzlies year:

Rookie Year: Knicks: We finished around 52-30. 3rd in MVP Award Race
Second Year: Knicks: We finished around 56-26. Won MVP
Third Year: Knicks: We finished 59-32. Won MVP

Are Richardson, Holiday, Turner, Hawes, etc. all getting enough shots? They would all realistically have at least 10 shots per game, so maybe that's the problem. Just using your team-mates right is really important. Doesn't sound like you're the point guard so I'm not sure. Elaborate more and I can help more?

They are getting enough shots I've had multiple 20 pt 10 ast games, It seems we can do well in every quarter but the 4th maybe it's just 2k cheese and that Bynum and Richardson are both injured right now and Kwame is starting at the 5.

Hey guys, I love reading these posts. It seems PG is the most popular position. I play PG for my school, so my first choice would to be PG lol. I am a 6'0 175 lb. Scoring PG and I play for the Pacers. I am in my 2nd year. I won rookie of the year my first year, and right now I am 3rd for MVP, behind Lebron, who is second, and KD, who is 1st. I avg. about 15 Points a game and about 10 assists a game. In my first year we were the 6th seed and were eliminated in the first round. This year we are the 4th seed and are down 3-2 in the 2nd round.

Well I just had one of my best games ever in My Player....an overtime game where it went down to the wire and I blocked the potential game winner


And of course my PS3 freezes the second the game is over lol...smh

I have a pass first PG for the Pacers and our numbers are eerily similar lol. 16.3 ppg and 10 apg. I'm 70 games into my first season and we are sitting at 49-21.

So..my Suns pretty much shat on my SG Scorer come contract time. I brought two titles and one MVP, had their team scoring record for a game.. But once next season came.. guess who they sign for like 6 years 100 mill....LBJ... WTF... They trying to offer me 3mill for one year.. HAAA yea right buddy. Every other team offering around 13-14 mill for 4-5 years. Thats straight bull..I wanted to stay with them but they just tossing me crap contracts. Woulda been fun playing with LBJ but he shoulda took a pay cut or something since he knew I was going to get a new contract.
Now I'm on the Blazers hoping they resign Aldridge at end of season since his contract up. But Suns are third game of the season...here comes the Reckoning. >.<

What settings does everyone play on? I play on Default. But lookin for more of a challange.
Cause if I start going off..then it's a straight blowout. I have to do like REALLY ****ty for the game to be even close.

I'm in purgatory right now. Play on the bulls...... rose 28 years old and hes peaked at 90 but still sucks. team keep getting high draft picks..... waste them on 10 pgs (yes they drafted pg every time). Half of the teams suck since they didn't get high draft picks because of the glitch. Want to be traded but there's no teams out there a good enough to even bother to be traded to. This sucks.

My Player is beyond frustrating on 2k12. I'm a 6'3 190 athletic guard who is in his rookie season with the Suns and boy do we suck. My teammates just stand there when I have the ball. I drive the lane and kick the ball out to my 'shooters' (Vince Carter, Channing Frye) and they brick more often than not. I give my teammates passes in the paint and they can't convert layups. It makes me wanna yell at my tv and just be a ballhog. Another thing that infuriates me is every time I drive the lane and attempt a shot the cpu turns into ****ing Bill Russell and blocks my shot. I hope this is because my dunk rating (70) and shot inside rating (80) are not through the roof. When I get both of those into the 90s I don't wanna see my shot get rejected every time by bums like Rashard Lewis. The trade logic is absolutely ridiculous.The Suns traded away Nash for Gilbert ****ing Arenas!!! I didn't notice it for a couple of games because I took over the starting pg spot and Nash's minutes were decreased. When I saw Gilbert Arenas check into the game I was like wtf?? After the game I looked at the team roster and poof, Nash was gone. I was pissed because he was the ONLY competent teammate I had. I actually didn't mind playing shooting guard if it meant more minutes for Nash so we could be on the court together.. Which brings me to my next point.. Alvin Gentry is a ****ing moron. This guy had me playing small forward and even power forward!!! A 6'3 190 lb power forward. Are you kidding me? I'm stuck with these losers because the trade deadline has passed. They traded away the teams 2 best players besides me (Gortat and Nash) and now I'm stuck with Vince Carter, who they SHOULD have traded, Gilbert Arenas (sigh) and Quentin Richardson. If the GM doesn't make changes, I'm demanding a trade next season. I have to score damn near 40 points a night just to keep us barely above .500. I seriously hope the my player on 2k13 doesn't have the same flaws as 2k12 (too many turnovers, average joes making fall away jumpers like they're Jordan or Olajuwon, incompetent teammates, stupid trade logic etc.) I just might start over with 2k11 my player until nba 2k13 comes out
