Ah, thank you so much, man. That helps a lot. I think I'll just stick with playing every game, and let's hope by the time 2k13 comes around, I can be in the HOF. :b

I just created a Scoring SG, got drafted by the Bobcats, and it seems like I'm playing a bit of everything for them. I can play the 1, 2, or 3. It's nice to know that it takes 15 games to start, considering the fact that I've been putting up points that nobody except our 6th man has even come close to for the first 12 games. Which was causing me to wonder why I hadn't earned a starting role. But knowing that it'll come soon, makes it all better.

I don't know how you guys get into My Player.

I just haven't been able to stay consistent all year.

Ya. My final guy is a SF originally drafted by the Knicks but "traded" to the Lakers for Gasol and Fisher. This season is a hell season for LA - Kobe injured twice with "Back Strains" for 2 weeks each time, Steve Blake (starter PG once Fish was traded) out for 3 months and now Ron Artest (err MWP) and Josh McRoberts both were injured for 1-2 weeks. So my season is having the Lakers in last place and my 6'5" SF is trying to play every position but Center ... I'm not Magic Johnson yet, so having to try to stop Love or Griffin in the paint is quite a challenge.

I usually fire up the game when watching the Lakers, Clippers or a big game like Miami vs Boston on ABC/ESPN ... since in real life I can't beat myself playing horse I gotta get my hoops in by computer. lol

              PG/ATH/Jazz/Rookie/OVR: 83

50-26 Utah Jazz vs. San Antonio Spurs (6th or 7th in West)

This was a fun game to play as we were battling the veterans of the league.

I will get this recap started by saying we won an intense game 105-102. The spurs had a chance to tie it up with 3.6 seconds remaining, but after the inbound play the ball found its way to Parker who my guy was ready to shut down to win the game (MP has 99 OBD and 90 Stl) Parker took a dribble in I put my hands up and his shot hit off iron to seal the W.

I was obviously happy with the win, but I would like to mention that I was not happy with my team as a whole while we did play a fairly complete offense only 3 of our starters scored and only 6 players overall who I will mention in the Stats.

This spurs team challenged me all the way through even taking the lead in the final minute. I really don't have a big stat that was the difference outside of the FTs and Bench Pts.

              Key Stats:
              Spurs Jazz
              12/17 FT 17/19 FT
              70% 89%

They shot themselves in the foot with the missed FTs as just 3 more could of changed the entire game.

              Spurs Jazz
              43 BP 18 BP

Now this could be a problem for my team down the line especially if Harris and Howard don't step it up for me as starters I shouldn't get 0 points out of 2 starters I would settle for 6-8 but not 0.

              Spurs Jazz
              6/20 3pt 0/1 3pt
              30% 0%

Well it has been obvious for anyone keeping up with my post that my team always gets out shot from deep, but this brings me to a question for the PGs, how do you best up your 3pt shooting or do you just play to your teams strength I feel like in the off-season we should add a SG or SF with range if possible.

Stat Line for all 6 scorers:

              Al Jefferson, 37 Min 32 Pts 5 Reb 15-20 FG 2-4 FT

              Paul Millsap, 39 Min 29 Pts 8 Reb 1 Stl 2 Blk 1 T.O. 11-18 FG 7-7 FT

              P.Henderson(MP), 43 Min 26 Pts 8 Reb 27 Ast 6 Stl 7 T.O. 9-18 FG 8-8 FT

              Derrick Favors, 13 Min 10 Pts 2 Reb 1 Blk 5-7 FG

Enes Kanter, 8 Min 6 Pts 1 Reb 3-5 FG

Alex Burks, 11 Min 2 Pts 1-1 Fg

              Harris and Howard, 71 Min 0 Pts 6 Reb 1 Ast 1 Stl 3 T.O. 0-3 FG

those two not getting involved could be on me, but I just don't know.

              Top 3 Comparison:
              Spurs, Parker, Manu, Duncan, 51 Pts 7 Reb 16 Ast 5 Stl 4 Blk(TIMMY) 4 T.O.

              Jazz, Henderson, Jefferson, Millsap, 87 Pts 21 Reb 27 Ast 7 Stl 2 Blk(Sap) 8 T.O.

Other than completing milestones and whatnot during simulation if you key game it only, do you get any other Skill Points? Like say for good shots, and assists and what not? I only play Key Games.

It's hell to play all 82 games, I already experienced that last year.

I was so glad about the "next key game" option,

I played every game my rookie season, now getting ready to start the playoffs in my second year and I mostly played key games only in my second season.

With 2 games left in the regular season of my second year my MP is rated at 87 overall right now with a lot of categories maxed out already.

I have (just checked) 387417 career skill points to date.

                    PG/ATH/JAZZ/ROOKIE/66 OVR

Played 5 games yesterday, bringing us to 11 completed in my rookie year and we sit at 3-8 right now.

We pulled off a big upset over the Thunder 117-115 in overtime (thanks to my career-high 24 points) and then I played fantastic against Derrick Rose and the Bulls, tallying 17 points and 7 dimes before foul trouble forced me to leave the game and we inevitably lost.

One thing I've noticed is that I've really been bringing it defensively as of late. At least 2 steals and 2 blocks in each of my past 3 games.

One of my favorite series I've ever had in a 2k game happened last night: Russell Westbrook jumped the passing lane and picked off my pass, so when he tried to chuck it the length of the court I jumped up in front of him and caught it, took it to the rim and slammed it home over him for an AND1.

I've been doing a great job getting to the FT line as of late as well.

Currently averaging 13.0 points, 3.5 boards, and 3.9 assists per game thus far.

Just had a frustrating game against the Mavs. Vince Carter was scoring whatever he wanted to that game. I have to play SG because Nash runs the PG spot most of the time. Vince Carter was posting me up all game, and while I did a good job of defending, I couldn't do anything about it because he could just shoot over me. He even faked me out and dunked on me once. I hate playing SG.

                        First half stats against Detroit.

Stat line: 23 minutes, 16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists (2 off p&r, 1 off alley), 1 steal, 1 block, 5 turnovers (I can never seem to keep that number lower than 2), and 6-6 from the line.

Definitely. Jefferson is money around the basket, by far my favorite teammate.

Really dislike Derrick Favors though, he always gets his **** packed when he's going in.

                                Chicago won, 85-72.

My final stat line: 43 minutes, 33 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 6 turnovers, and 9-9 from the stripe.

But for some reason this game, I could not hit **** from behind the arch. My 3pt is 91, I got wide open looks, yet I went 0-8 from deep.
