Hahaa the guy sounded like he was discrediting it. My team is 33-7 after I got there they were 7 and 5. So I take all the shots. But I make all of them too

To break records, make all star teams, awards etc. and sitting there watching cp3 dribble it down to about 6 seconds on the shot clock got old fastComment

You know what you got to do. It's too easy for you to win with a trio of Stars!
After playing "successfully" but not enjoying myself at Superstar/SIM; I knew it would be "boring" going down a notch at an OVR: 93 with the Knicks, so I just started over completely w All-Star/Sim.
p.s. - having a real struggle shooting w/ 6-0/190lb PG!Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
PG/ATH/Jazz/Rookie/OVR: 82
50-26 Utah Jazz vs. 40-35 Phoenix Suns (8th in the west)
Well we ended up pulling away in the 2nd half as we kept up the pressure on defense and continue the momentum on offense after trailing by 18 in the first half to cruise to a 125-101 win felt great.
The biggest difference between halves imo was the first half phoenix went 5-9 from behind the arc and the 2nd half they went 4-12.
I want to give a big shout out to my bench for putting up 41 pts to phoenix's 19 and for my inside game working again outscoring them 82-54 in the paint. 2 of our top 4 scorers were from off the bench.
Al Jefferson was a beast again tonight as me and him are finding a groove together I will post both of our complete stat line and the 2 guys off the bench that contributed the most.
Shannon Brown has to be the most annoying player I have ever had to deal with on this game as he again led phoenix in scoring with 25. (I will edit the amount of points he has unleashed on us this season)
Off the Bench Stars:
Derrick Favors - 22 Min 20 Pts 6 Reb 2 Ast 2 Stl 1 Blk 1 T.O. 9-10 FG 2-2 FT
C.J. Miles - 15 Min 11 Pts 2 Reb 4-7 FG 1-3 3pt (buzzer beater to end 3rd) 2-2 FT
Derrick and C.J. both were given chances inside off a P&R when C.J. played the 4 for a little and Derrick being our 6th men was playing one of his better games this year.
Stat Lines:
Al Jefferson - 30 Min 32 Pts 6 Reb 2 Stl 2 Blk 3 T.O. (3 sec) 15-18 FG 2-3 FT
P. Henderson (MP) - 40 Min 27 Pts 7 Reb 26 Ast 8 Stl 6 T.O. 10-18 FG 7-7 FT
I enjoyed the game overall and how much effort Jefferson was giving me.
If there is anything you want to know or think I should start mentioning just HMU.Last edited by phlstar; 03-18-2012, 12:13 AM.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Roster - Take a look at your "In" & "Out" Ratings; are they A+? I think you get A for "Outside" once your 3-pt skill reaches 85.
My PG/Knicks skills for Med Shot-(89) & 3-Pt -(87) for an "A" Rating for Outside shot
Haha I honestly never have made my my player shorter than the max height for his position. It makes everything so much easier. I know you get less skill points but it rly balances itself out. You put up better numbers as a bigger player. Shots are less contested. More blocks. More boards
True, this SIM is not like MLB The Show (RTTS) where you can get some slack on "actuals"!
That being said, you would think that I would have the common sense to make him Athletic instead of Scoring;..... he is SHORT AND SLOW!!!
What shot can Gordon Hayward ACTUALLY make? Being a Sixers fan in real life, I cannot believe how terrible Raja Bell (former Sixer) is now, he can not drop a 3 on the break for nothing! Not that it really matters before the season is over Alec Burks will take over for him.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
For the usage question, in 53 Games Played I have averaged 25.4 shots a game roughly, but it is getting lower I just started the year with way too many attempts per game thinking I had to carry them to win.
My metric Stats in usage is pretty high, but on a down slope from the start of the year when it was over 50%. 42.9% compared to the next closest in Kobe Bryant 36.3%.
Metric Stat Line for those that want to compare:
PER - 44.1
EFF - 39.1
TS - .571
EFG - .513
REB - 7.6
AR - 22.9 (needs to be higher from a PG)
TOR - 11 (Lower)
PPR - 5.5 (higher ranked 15th in the league for a top 10 PG I need to do better)
POS - 32.7 (I would like to be able to get it to about 25-28 area)
USG - 42.9
EWA - 18 (happy with this :-D)
AGS - 30.9 (It says this is really good, so I am fine)
PPWS - 1.1
FTR - .2Comment
