Hakeem Ewing
6' 6"
215 pounds
Scorer
SG/SF
Rookie Showcase:
22 Points
6 Rebounds
2 Assists
1 Steal
2 Turnovers
Strengths: Confident shooter once he gets into a rhythm. Finishes strong on the break and runs the floor efficiently. Always active, always trying to make something happen around the basket. High basketball IQ, high awareness of what's going on around him.
Weaknesses: A definite scorer, but his shot s still somewhat inconsistent. Lacks great anticipation when playing the passing lanes. At ties tries to force the issue offensively instead of taking what the defense gives him. Needs to improve his handle, which would help him create shots for himself and his teammates.

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
I ditched my All-Around Center after starting his third season, because of some of the stat caps (specifically Speed, Vertical, Ball Security, and especially Quickness). Although I knew the caps in advance thanks to the spreadsheet floating around, once I reached them I realized I wasn't satisfied.
I created a new All-Around PF, which has secondary position as C, so I'm still in the post 95% of the game. I'm enjoying it a little bit more than my first attempt, but I'm on a slower development curve. I coasted my rookie year (didn't win a starting spot until playoffs) and I think the attributes are more expensive overall.
I really hope this does not turn out to be true... I was looking forward to my Bulls having an extra 1st-round pick that they acquired along with me for Luol Deng!Remember your roots:

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
My new MP, the All-Around PF, is Nate Armstrong, 7'1", 285 lbs. Entering game 82 of his second season, he's only at 77 overall. But I've finally maxed out all the attributes besides Speed that can be given from the Dribble Course drill (Layup, Off-hand Dribbling, Ball Security, Stamina, Durability, and Quickness). So from here on out, I'll be able to cash in my Speed boost from the drills for ~2400 pts every time... looks like I'll make a big jump in rating next year. I'm already leading the Most Improved Player vote this year -- I wonder if you can win it two years in a row?
One issue raining on my parade in Chicago is disgruntled teammates. My teammate chemistry is up to 100, but there are four players on my team with rating drops of 7 points or more! I remember from the game last year, the guy whose place I took in the starting lineup would pout and take a serious rating hit. But I don't understand why it's so widespread on my current team...
Ronnie Brewer: -3
Carlos Boozer: -7
Shannon Brown: -7
Taj Gibson: -7
Jimmy Butler: -8
Has anyone else seen it this severe on their team? (BTW, there's no way to tell the impact on team chemistry, since NBA.com shows every team in the league at 85%.)Remember your roots:

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Favors became the second highest rate PF in my MP after 5-6 seasons. (behind Blake Griffin) I think his rating is around 92-93 in my 7th season and his averages are around 17-18 ppg and 9rpg. Definitely worth waiting for his improvements.Last edited by nbanoname; 03-18-2012, 09:16 PM.Comment

PG/ATH/JAZZ/ROOKIE/83 OVR
52-26 Utah Jazz vs. 15-63 New Orleans Hornets
quick recap since it wasn't a fun game to play due to there lack of competition. They had 56 overall Greivis Vasquez starting for the injured Jarret Jack.
Utah walked away with a easy 115-88 Win.
Stat Line:
P.Henderson - 36 Min 41 Pts 3 Reb 17 Ast 11 Stl 2 Blk 5 T.O. 17-28 FG 7-7 FT
The low minutes was due to foul trouble, but the game was in hand even when I was not in the game. This was also my 17th Career Triple Double.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Our 'Cats just went on to completely blow out the Bucks. Usually when I'm not playing, the Bobcats won't do so hot, but when I came in with 4 left in the 1st quarter it was 16-3. We ended up keeping the lead and winning 92-73.
I had 26 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 block, 2 steals and 2 TOs.NBA - CHICAGO BULLS
