This is going to be quick recaps of the 1st round and then I'll give you the first game of round 2 vs. The Defending Champions The Dallas Mavericks.

Game 1: was a intense game that pushed my team to it's limits.
    110-106 Utah Jazz

    Stat Line:
    P.Henderson - 42 Min 49 Pts 2 Reb 19 Ast 10 Stl 1 Blk 5 T.O. 19-34 FG 0-1 3pt 11-12 FT

Game 2: Well the first game 2 I played MP hit a game winning shot at the end of the first OT with a Buzzer beater. The 2nd Game was a demolition by the Jazz as MP broke the single game Playoff record and went off for 66 Pts in a 107-95 Utah Jazz.

    Stat Line
    :
    P. Henderson - 42 Min 66 Pts 5 Reb 7 Ast 7 Stl 2 Blk 3 T.O. 24-43 FG 0-1 3pt 18-21 FT

    Game 3
: This is the game that I believe broke the Suns as Utah went on to destroy them in front of there fans 92-67 Utah Jazz.

    Stat Line:
    P. Henderson - 40 Min 52 Pts 5 Reb 5 Ast 8 Stl 1 Blk 6 T.O. 20-37 FG 12-13 FT

game 4: The game played out a lot better than the last two as the suns were able to stick around and eventually go on a run during the 3rd to cut the Jazz lead to 5 going into the 4th, but My team stepped up defensively and outscored Phoenix 26-12 in the quarter to advance to the 2nd round 110-91 Utah Jazz.

    Stat Line:
    P. Henderson - 42 Min 50 Pts 9 Reb 14 Ast 8 Stl 1 Blk 3 T.O. 18-43 FG 14-15 FT

The most significant thing I didn't like about this serious is the amount of shots I had to take to keep my team in the game during the long runs and the fact I had to call time outs properly because our coach would just watch the other team get on a big run and not call a time out.

I will have the first game of the Dallas series up asap
You seem like you get great stats. I've practically just begun my Athletic PG (Only on game 9) but I'm curious as to what attributes you think I should bump up first. I've got my Shot Medium up to 80, as well as both of my Awarenesses. My other shots are at 70, except 3pt which remains untouched. However, I feel like to get great stats I'll need to bump up passing, off-hand dribbling, ball security, etc. Did you have any sort of strategy when spending your skill points in the beginning?

1st seed Utah Jazz vs. 4th seed Dallas Mavericks
I was nervous going into this fist game knowing I have a problem stopping jump shooting teams like that and thought I would have to start mixing up the defense to keep them uncomfortable.

The game started out as a good series with Utah leading 30-27 after the 1st. In the 2nd quarter the Jazz stretched the margin quite a big getting the lead up to 11 at the half. While the 3rd quarter was more contested the Jazz still came out on top increasing the lead to 17 outscoring the Mavs 33-27. The 4th was competitive, but the Mavs couldn't cut the lead at all and lost 114-94.

I went for medium pretty early due to the fact early on they play off you and I wanted to punish them for that I used the +5 medium shoes early on.

I ended up getting it to 83 (88 with Shoes) I think focused on other scoring cues like lay-up then I went with passing so I could get good offense going.

I went after FTs so I could score for getting fouled attacking the basket. I basically got the offensive skills I want down first and my consistency to 90 S.I.T. to 95 then I slowly raised my close and inside to 88 and around this point I noticed I had to raise ball security and off-hand dribbling.

I went on defense after this so I could actually use my speed against the other fast guards in the league.

This is the break down the best I can remember.

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread

I just played the most frustrating game(2nd half) of my PGs career against Clippers. 1st half was okay, I had 3 avoidable TOs so I was okay with it. But, 2nd half completely changed. CP3 and Butler picked my pocket alot. I had 7 TOs in the 2nd half. What made it worse it that I went cold and I started forcing shots like crazy. I was trying to get 30 pts, so I can get the 1000 pt milestone. I fell short 3 points. I really wanted because I face MIA next.

I got Ball Security to 83. After I get 1000 pt milestone and along with a good game, I should be able to get it to about 87-88. I am 27 assists away from 500 assist. I have 5 games between my next key game and this key game. By next key game, I should have it 90+. I will max that, then Off-Hand Dribble, then Hands just for the heck of it. Most of the games are close until I turn it over. I can keep the bad passes and can recognize that even though a teammate looks open, he isnt. But, it is embarrassing giving up 8+ TOs a game. I want to be able to drive. But, I dont want to risk getting the ball stolen. I want to attempt 8+ FTs a game, but as it is now Im lucky just to get to the line once in a game. After I max all of my Ball Handling ratings, I will max Stamina and Durability. So, when I do the dribble course I am more likely to get Speed, Quickness and Layup. All 3 I really need to boost. Even at 82/83 Layup, I still miss Fastbreak layups if there is someone around me(I dont even have to get touched and I will miss it.).

Well my PG on the Knicks just lost in round 1 to the Bulls. They beat us 4-2. Now I'm in my second year.

I requested a trade out of there because they didnt clean up their PGs. we still have 5 PGs, Me, Baron, Douglas, Shump, and a rookie. So I didn't want to play another whole season where they put 4 PGs in the lineup at once in the 4th Q.

So I made a backup and requested a trade, I went the Raptors, idk if I will stay with them, I liked the idea of carrying a team by myself but idk. I might load my other save and try to go to the Magic or someone.

                PG/ATH/KINGS/ROOKIE/64 OVR

Well, a very gutwrenching loss in my first game as a King. The Wizards defeated us, 100-91. I had single-handedly cut the lead to within 5 four different times, and I was taken out of the game immediately following, each time. I played SG until there was 3:46 left in the 3rd quarter, then they finally allowed me to play some PG.

                M. Rieb - 26 Min. 26 Pts. 1 Reb. 4 Ast. 1 Stl. 0 Blk. 4 TO. 11-19 FG. 0-0 3PT. 4-4 FT.

My match-up most of the game was J. Crawford. His stats:

                J. Crawford - 34 Min. 15 Pts. 4 Reb. 3 Ast. 2 Stl. 0 Blk. 1 TO. 7-15 FG. 1-2 3PT. 0-0 FT.

So I played a bit better than him on offense, but it was his defense that was better than mine. I'm sure once I become the starting PG for the Kings, this club will take a whole new direction. We're now moved to 5-4.

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread

                  Storyline for my player:

6'3 Scoring PG (Tyler), #1 Highschool player in the country.Commited to Big-East basement Rutgers. Had offers from Duke, Kentucky, and Syracuse, but said no to all.

Ends up one and done after leading Rutgers to the final four, losing in a nailbiter 72-71 against Ohio State.

Was projected to be a top 5 pick until he blew off teams in pre-draft interviews, looked slow and out of shape, and GMs had concerns of his chucking attitude. Tyler ended up dropping on mock drafts all the way to the late-1st round.

Scouts compared him to Monta Ellis due to his scoring ability and lackadaisical defensive presence.

However, with a good showing a the rookie showcase, Tyler re-upped his draft stock to border-line lottery.

Tyler ended up drafted with the 12th pick, to the Utah Jazz. Jazz also drafted Enes Kanter and Alec Burks in what they hope will turn out to be a draft class to remmember.

Jazz are hoping to build for the future. Kanter at center, Favors at PF, Hayward at SF, Burks at SG, and Tyler at PG. They have a afflux of young talent.

Fastforwarding a couple games: Jazz are 5-3 and Tyler is now the 6th man. Kanter and Favors are only seeing 18 minutes combined and need more minutes to develop. The Jazz need to trade Al or Millsap so their young bigs get more minutes.

                    1000 Career Assists

Hovering just above .500 @ (6-5), we are doing nothing impressive other than keeping our opponents runs around ten points per game avoiding blow out losses.

The "rubberband" scripting and the excessive 3-pt shot success by my opponent on Superstar/Sim has become quite the bore. As my field goal percentage rises (49%) my "Star" teammates continue to fall by 6-8 percent making this endeavor almost pointless.

Skill Points: Upgraded In & Out Dribbling ability with 16K points earned w/ Star Matchup and 1000 Career Assists milestone.

need some help with minutes. my player was drafted by the bobcats as a PG. they traded DJ and kemba for josh smith and pachulia.
                            our lineup is
                            reggie williams
                            derrick brown

                            josh smith
                            zaza pachulia

my problem is, im 6th in the rotation but ever since i was drafted my minutes have not changed at all. my role is starter and reggie is a roleplayer but he still starts. any help?
edit: forgot to mention im avg 10 ppg 10 apg so im not doing bad

I had a dominate game against the Mavs as we took a 10 Pt 1st quarter lead and continued to expand it and left with a 111-86 win against the Mavericks.
