My rookie PG just had his best games of his young career. He had 26pts and 10 assists off the bench. But, he had 7 TOs. The main reason is I played 42 mins off the bench in a blowout loss. They shouldve just took me out after 33. That was my 1st double double, 1st 20 pt game, 1st shot 60% in game, and 1st 10 assists game.
I got Shoot in Traffic to 90 and Consistency to 84. I will stop at 85 because it is starting to get very expensive, I will use Shooting drill to continue boosting it. I have 3 key games left in season. I achieved my goal. My goal was to improve my scoring ability and have the ability to pass. With Shot Med, FT, and Shoot in Traffic at 90+, It gives me at least 3 ways to score. With Consistency being at 85+, I can feel comfortable shooting without going into major slump. Goal for next year is to improve defense, ball handling, and physical rating. I set it up like that so by my 3rd year, I am a complete player and ready to break out. In my last 3 games, I will work on Hustle.
I doubt we(Mavs) make the playoffs. We are 9th place. We have about 7-8 games left and only one team isnt .500 or better. I think we only won 1 or 2 key games I played this year. Almost every loss was a blowout. It isnt our offense. Our defense is horrible. Mainly because my lack of athleticism and defensive skills, I am a liability on defense, but I dont really give up a alot of points. I have trouble against Athletic PGs who can score, especially if they are defensive. I hate going up against Lowry, Parker, and Ginolbi 4 times a year. We are at the point where a loss can potentially drop us down. Another reason we lose alot is we dont have a true Center. Dirk starts at Center and Odom at PF. We dont have a high reb guy. Dirk is better at his true position and Odom is best off the bench and he is basically a tall SF. We always lose the reb battle.
I usually dont request trades. I usually stick it out with the team that drafts me and stay until contract is up. Only time I ask for trade is when they add another player of same position, dont like the direction of team, talent, or draft bug. I might ask for a trade. Dirk, Jet, Marion, Carter, and Odom arent going to get any better. They will progress and retire in next 3 years. So, they will be a rebuilding team in a few years. Because of the draft bug, they will only get average players at best. The team I have to be in top 15 of draft, but not lower in 6(it would take fun out being surrounded by top draftees), have a 1-2 reliable perimeter shooters, solid front court, a guy that has that can finish in traffic, and most importantly not a star/future star PG on the team. Only team that closely fits that mold is Magic. That would be a great option ONLY IF Dwight stays there. If he is there next year, I wont heisitate to ask for a trade there.
I bought Ray Allen FT and Tony Parker's Layup. After I get done with next year's goals or get a big milestone, I will save up FadeAway ability
