I play on Hall of Fame-Sim-12 minutes and the only way my stupid team wins is if I drop 50+. Now I will also have the 10+ ast and 6+ reb and 4+ steals but u can't call cheese on just the points. Maybe he just wants to be a winner is all....

On to my intended question though, I also would like an answer to the team management question because the bobcats need some bigs. I get tired of praying Diaw doesn't get blocked in the post against someone inches taller than him.

hey its your game, people can play how they want. as a big NBA fan, i go for realism when i play 2k. and to me, i would rather play on all-star or superstar so that way my team actually does something and i can put up realistic stats like 20-30 ppg. i just dont like getting 50 ppg, heck i dont even like getting 30 ppg until atleast my 2nd or 3rd year.

but hey, its your game not mine, if you wanna play on HoF and score 50+ ppg, then by all means do it, as long as your having fun.

Ok so I restarted my player a few times cuz I wanted to get drafted to the Knicks. Well I gave up so tried again, and I played ok in the showcase. I had given cocky answers and was drafted by the Celtics. After 5 games in, I requested a trade to NY and got it So far my rookie season is going good. 16.4ppg, 5.6 assist, 2.5rpg,& 3spg. I am leading in rookie scoring points and now starting for the team. At 1st they kept Tony Dougloss at SG and we was getting murked. Finally they put walker as a starter (since fields got traded for me ) and we are on a 8 game win streak heading to OKC. I'm an overal 67 right now but being a 3pt specialist makes playing for this team fun. Currently team is 22-12. Miami is 32-4 and was on a 12 game win streak...geez.

I don't see why people don't do well in the rookie showcase and get drafted higher, considering most people request trades anyway. The more money you get the faster you get to purchase things.

Can't wait to buy Blake's dunk package.

my PG on the Knicks just dropped a career high 33 points in a loss to LA Clippers. man it was a tough loss, we led most of the game only to lose by 3 at the end. and i take full responsibility for the loss, i turned the ball over with 32 seconds left and a 1 point lead, then they scored and we had to play the foul game and lost by 3.

anyway here are some notable stats:
Me-33 points, 2 rebounds, 8 assists
Melo-25 points, 9 rebounds
Amare-22 points, 14 rebounds
Chandler-3 blocks

i usually dont score much, but i was just getting good looks and good lanes to the hoop. i drove a lot and got fouled a lot. i shot 15-16 from the charity stripe.

we are now just outside the playoff race, since i've been here we are 10-4, but before i arrived this team had a pretty bad record. but its still early in the year, only about 25 games in.

i was also named Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month after the game.

Had another subpar game, though this time, my team played great. My statline was eerily similar to my first game.

4 pts (1-6 fg), 1 reb, 5 asts, 2 stls, 2 TOs in 16 mins. off the bench.

I'm having a little bit of difficulty adjusting to Phoenix's offense because it still runs through Steve Nash even though he plays Shooting Guard when I'm in the game. Many of the plays are for me to run off of screens. Unfortunately, I don't have much of a jumpshot yet.

As far as team stats, Nash had a great game (29 pts, 8 asts). Shannon Brown chipped in 22 of his own, despite playing with a Broken Nose. Marcin Gortat had another great game with 15 pts, 16 rebs, and 3 blks. Kobe led the Lakers with 23 points on 8-22 shooting, and Andrew Bynum had 12/12.

Looking forward to our next game vs. Portland.

Is anyone finding it insanely hard to drive the lane in this game? I'm an athletic point guard and I can go isolation and I can't get to the rim for the life of me. Any tips?

Im a 5'7 3pt PG, tanked interviews with Ind, Hou, and Phil got drafted to Washington, dont play PG much but Im happy with that averaging roughly 11 pts 4 assists 3 3's through 4 or 5 games. Anyways what are these drills? I havent done any yet?

Even though I had 21 pts against LA in a key game, I had my WORST shooting game of my young career. I want 7-25. Most of my misses were good % shots and shots that I usually make. It got frustrating. If I would have made at least 14 shots, it would of been a closer game.

I just won Rookie of the Month. I am 3rd in ROY voting. I simmed a week of games. I scored a career high 36 in a simmed agame.I have 5 key games within the next 11 games.
Is 70 Hands good enough to stop at for a PF?
I really want to focus on Rebounding. I think 70 is good enough.

Even though my guy is 7'2, I didn't put anything in my hands untill I went to this forum. All you really need to do is box out and hope the ball will come to you. Thats what I did, and I pretty much got 7+ rebounds every game.

Even though my guy is 7'2, I didn't put anything in my hands untill I went to this forum. All you really need to do is box out and hope the ball will come to you. Thats what I did, and I pretty much got 7+ rebounds every game.

I did it because I tried to do couple of alley oops and I couldnt catch the pass in the air. I am boosting Off/Def rebound. I am in the right position(for the most part), but someone else constantly steals the rebound right from me. I hope when I buy the Stat Cap booster and boost Vertical to 80, that I can rebound better.
