just had a solid game against the Wizards, 15 points, 2 rebounds, 14 assists. but we still lost, melo had 28 and amare had 18. idk why but i got pulled with 5 minutes left in the game and never got put back in. kinda sucks but what can you do :/

How do you call for an alley-oop? Not being the passer but being the scorer. Do you need a certain dunk rating?

same buttons you use to throw one. LT and B if your on xbox. you need a good hands rating to catch the oop though. and if your dunk rating is low you will lay it in, you need a high dunk rating to slam it.

Man increasing your vertical was really a good decision ever since i increased it to 90, i make most of my contested lay ups and dunks. Right now we are rolling 21-1 start.

Now i just need to know how to rebound better, i only average 2 RPG.

I'm doing so good, it's too easy at times, I play on HOF, scoring 47.9 PPG, 4.5 RPG(I get around 6 a game though), 2.4 PPG(recently bumped it up by passing up on shots, got like 7-13 assists last few games), 2.9 SPG. I already got the NBA 2K13 Roster, played 37 games so far. Oh, I'm on Thunder, SG, 6'6'', with Tyrus Thomas as center now. We're 28-8, dominating.

Incorrect I've been drafted by the Knicks (17th) (bad showcase), Celtics (25th)(bombed questions) and Mavericks (26th) (terrible showcase)

I too went to the Wizards in the early 20's, I had a good showcase and was interviewed by Ind, Hou and Phil but told all of them Im not fit for the team or city, at first I was disapointed going to the Wizards as Im a PG but Im playing mainly SG and after 12 games we are 7-5, Ive moved up to the 6th man and get 31 minutes a game where Nick Young the starter is only getting 30. I wish I could tell them to start me until Mcgee is back at C, clearly our best lineup would be Wall, Me, Young, Lewis, Blatche but coach keeps Blatche at PF and some schlep is in at C maybe Turiaf, maybe someone else I forget, Mcgee has only missed 1 game though and will be back anytime. I'm averaging just under 13 pts, just under 2 boards, just under 7 assists, just under 1 steal. Im shooting around 50% from the field and am hitting roughly 3 3's a game, had 6 in one game which is tied for the most in the nba with Brandon Jennings this year.

At this point it's pretty obvious that 2k cut serious corners with the pre-draft interviews, as no matter how you play in the showcase game there is only a collection of 3-5 teams who interview you (meaning that 2k only actually made questions for 3-5 teams).

On another note, I'm still waiting on 2k to eliminate the game forcing your player to turn around toward the perimeter every time you get down on offense, unless you hold down turbo, or force you into a defensive stance/shuffle immediately after the opposing team inbounds the ball. These are things we the players should be controlling with our controller input, not being forced to do. So tired of 2k constantly inventing new ways to force the player into animations or handcuff them.

I don't mind the defensive stance part, but I do mind that if you're trailing in the fourth and want to put pressure on the ball handler you have to run back down the court. The auto running that 2K makes you do is unacceptable. Oh, and one time I was guarding D. Rose and he did some kind of in and out then, step back, before getting a head full of steam (in minimal space) and used a crossover that completely sat my PG on his ***.

As starting PG for the Orlando Magic we just beat the Heat 84-80 then went to NY and beat the Knicks 93-90 in a game where I wanted to punch the refs..
I dropped a career high 35 points on Miami.. And played a career high in minutes 44

My PG is avging 10ppg, 2.3 rbs, and 3.7 assists. We(6ers) are 6-7(7th in conference). I got my Shot Med to 86, Shoot in Traffic to 83(plan on stopping at 85), Pass to 75(stop at 80), and Quickness at 81. After I am done with Shoot in Traffic and Pass, I will work on Steal and On-Ball D.

Ugh well after beating Miami and New York, we lose at home to the Nets.. We made a comeback and I hit the go ahead shot with 16 seconds left.. Then, our genius coach kept me at SG instead of PG and Deron shot right over Jameer.. I missed the pretty open shot at the buzzer.. Very disappointing.. Now we(Magic) are 13-3

1) Are you forced to run plays like after the update in 2k11, because I hated that

Well we won in double o/t at Utah.. Hit the shot at the buzzer to force the second o/t..
But my issue is I'm the starting PG but the last few games I've been forced to SG in the last 5 minutes.. Now, Jameer is a good PG, but with him at Point the Offense struggles

During my last game we totally DOMINATED the 76ers. Melo exploded for 47 (i think) points, the game was over midway through the 3rd quarter. I used garbage time to rack up a lot of assist.
