Do you have any advice/tips on drills? I just got the game on Dec 26th so Im fairly clueless. Ive done the shooting drill twice with my PG and passed both times got some skill points but it improved clutch or something, do your drills improve the attributes you want or you mean youll improve through drills via the skill points? I also did the dribbling drill but that cardboard player locked me down and I couldnt get by him.

when just starting out the shooting drill is probably the easiest one, because all you do is shoot, which is the easiest thing to do. from what i can tell it is completely random as far as what attribute you get from it. you might get shot med, shot 3 pt, shot close, shot inside, clutch, or consistency.

i also really like the fast break drill, its pretty easy also but not as easy as the shooting drill. and the fastbreak has a chance of giving speed, which is really expensive.

If you're going for speed or quickness use the screen and read drill. The game awards those more during this drill

The shooting drill rewards you (if you get gold) on what ever shot(mid range, 3 pointer, inside, etc) you attempted/made more of. That's why I use it to increase my mid range, because when that's high it's easier to just step back behind the 3 point line.

Not all the time. Alot of times, I attempted nothing but Mid range shots. But, I end up with Consistency or Off Clutch. But, yea that is how it is. When you get it 88+, Corner 3s are easier to make

I finished the 3rd game with the Thunder. We are 0-3 we got blown out by at least 15+ all 3 games. It's descraseful after the 5 games is up I'm definitly requesting a trade out of their. On opening day, I finished with 5 points, and 5 rebounds. Got 3 rebounds in the first 2 minutes of my apperance. Went 1/2 from the line that game. Got all my points and rebounds in the 1st half,could not get the ball or score in the 2nd half. The Lakers were just scoring and scoring, and we couldn't get the ball to fall. In my 2nd game as a Thunder, we got blown outby the Suns 98-82. In that game again I had 7pts, and 5rebounds, all coming in the first half. I sat the whole 3rd Q, but when they brought me in in the 4th with about 5:30 left they ignored me and wouldn't give me the ball. I was calling for the ball, and they wouldn't give me the rock. I was so pissed of after that game yesterday. Now in my 3rd game with the Thunder I just finished an hour ago, we lost to the Pacers 108-88. This game was easily the best game of Richardson's career. He had 10pts, 5rebounds, 2assists, 1block. Blake did great from the post scoring 3 baskets from post moves. He hit 2/2from the line. he did great, had a teamate grade of A. OUr team couldn't get anything going. My average teamate grade now is B. Now we need to come off of this 3 game slid to start the year.

its not okc its how 2k programmed it. the moment you leave they will start winning happens to me all the time. let me guess kevin durant could barely make shots

Shot Quality is usuallly good(sometimes I rush it). I usually call screens to get open.
Is there a way to show Hotspots? I think last year you can show it by presses L3. If anything, I will go in Shootaround in see where I make the most shots.

nope cant see hotspots they are randomly assigned now i think, because i dont think we had any at all before the patch

best team to play for a 6'4 cutter/slasher/atlethic 2 guard to play on. I want to a guard who is excellent with off ball offense. However need a team that will fit my style.

it really doesn't matter now all the teams play the same. bulls would be ideal but drose won't play like drose but i think boozer does at least he did when i played with them

I guess I got to go in Shoot Around or Scrimmage and check out where the hotspots are.

alright played 2 more games on my PG for the Knicks. i just dont understand. we lose to teams we should beat easily, yet win against teams that probably should beat us.

we played the suns and got absolutely demolished. we lost by 32 points. not much to really talk about, they shot 68%, we shot 36%. that pretty much tells the story of the game. i had 23 points, 13 assists. melo had 28, amare had 20.

next game we play the Miami Heat in Miami. i was going into this game thinking great another blowout loss. but we actually edged them out this game 109-105. Melo was day-to-day with an injury and only played 9 minutes as a result. so i had to step up my scoring. im usually a passer but with our leading scorer out i knew i needed to step it up. i dropped 33 points(tying my career high), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block.

great all around game except i once again had a lot of turnovers. i had 5, i average almost 4 a game. i need to take care of the ball more. so after the game i pumped my skill points into ball security and pass.

in the heat game Amare had 17 points, Baron Davis had 14, and Chandler had 11.

It's how it is.. I got traded to the Magic when they were 9-2, Killed Charlotte and Toronto.. Won close games vs Miami and New York... Then Lost to the Nets at home, then we won a double ot game at Denver, then won a ot game at Utah, won a close game at Phoenix, then it was, bad.. We lost the next game at the Lakers, by a good bit, lost at the Thunder in a heartbreaker.. Came home, lost to Sacramento, now we finally broke it by beating Detroit in a close one.. My points Avg has been 24.6 in that stretch, around 4-5 assists and 3-6 rebounds.. Not alot of Turnovers except for the 7 at OKC.. I play 44-52 minutes in each game.. Shooting ain't been that bad, I couldn't understand some of it

One problem is that it subs on Minutes, not fatigue or game intensity..
The Magic starters are-
PG- Me
SG- J Rich
SF- Hedo
PF- Big Baby
C- Superman..
But the rotation is messed up... The only true guys in the rotation should be Redick, Anderson, Q, and Nelson.. When they put Earl Clark and Harper out there it's always with me, Hedo and Davis.. That always kills the offensive production.. Especially since I always get the best Defender..

1. Can someone describe the free agent process in this mode? And I assume it's based on your overall and not your stats, but can someone confirm that?

2. When you get your shoes, are you just allowed to pick the name or do you actually get to design it? I assume you just pick the name, but I've been wondering this.

You are correct about the drills. Also, I think the side shots are easier than the straightforward ones

I don't really focus on hotspots. I wonder if you can change them by shooting a high percentage in a different area on the court? I always shoot a higher percentage from the sides than I do from in front of the rim...
