For anyone looking to put points into their free throw attribute just a heads up. Going past 90 is a waste. If you miss the perfect release point it appears that the highest % you can get is 89. I've got mine at 95 and I notice no difference.

Also has anyone experienced the plays that their PG calls randomly changing (besides when/if your coach gets fired)? I just had a fantastic surprise now playing the game seeing that we're using different plays. As much as I love this team it's pretty much because of the defense. It's about as stifling of a defense as I can expect with the AI issues this mode has, but our offense was boring and annoying. The reason is because we were using Atlanta's playbook which was pretty much all iso plays mostly for the 2 guard who in our case was Jordan Crawford. NOW we're using plays from Chicago's playbook which has me coming off screens, and gives me gasp options of people to pass to and not have to just go 1 on 1 damned near every play. In NO we'd actually use a bunch of plays from different teams, so far in WAS it's been all Atlanta or all Chicago.

Is there a way to change playbooks in MP manually? Or the cpu does it automatically varying on your headcoach?

Scored 50 for the first time with my SG as my team, the 76ers, beat the Bobcats. My team has really been on a roll lately but we're about to lose Iggy to a trade and he's big off the bench. Hope we get someone good in return.

Scored 50 for the first time with my SG as my team, the 76ers, beat the Bobcats. My team has really been on a roll lately but we're about to lose Iggy to a trade and he's big off the bench. Hope we get someone good in return.

In mine, we traded Iggy and Brackins for Bogut and Sanders.

I like the post depth, but we had zero wing depth before we made that trade I also like Bogut since he's a good defensive presence and rebounds well, but the guy never scores when you pass to him. Not because he misses, no, because doesn't shoot it. He'd rather make a pass across the court instead of dunk right next to the rim. And then, my team doesn't even like to play him at the end of games. Instead, playing a small lineup with Lee at center...

I won like 15 in a row, but it was way too easy (Pro/Sim). I upped the difficulty to All-Star, and now my teammates are idiots and the computer can't miss. I dominate, but we still lost to the Nets and Bucks! First, I don't like having to dominate. I like not making the score or assist every play, but on any difficulty higher than Pro/Sim, it seems like my teammates get considerably worse on offense and defense. Rebounding is the biggest difference I notice. I guess I'll grind this out, because winning every game got boring and unrealistic.

Averaging 26.6, 7.5, 7.4 through 52 games though.

Wow. My team missed wide open shots the whole game against Dallas. We couldn't get anything going really. I also find it weird that I can't make shots in the 4th quarter. No matter how open I am, I miss the shot. Craziness!

Damn, the Suns are rolling now, winning 7 straight and upping their record to 8-1.

It's weird, I thought Carter would be that guy who jacks up shots no matter where he is, but he's actually just a stud!!! He's buckets from 3 and alley-oops with him are money since he seems to have reverted to hyper-athlete Vince.

My athletic PG is 63 OVR, and right now I'm just trying to boost up his 3 pt shot, as it is a woeful 54 right now. My midrange is solid, and layup is good.

Any ideas on what to up after I finish 3-pt shot? I kinda want to do awareness so I'll boost my OVR

Not that I've seen. Has anyone figured this out yet? I'm back to Atlanta's awful playbook. I'd really like to know if this is just some random error.

I decided to make a new my player since my center was getting boring.
This time, i made a slashing small forward, who got drafted by the suns. In my first game, My sf gets his first player of the game with 17 pts, 4rbds, 7 asts, and 6 stls. A nice start to a hopefully great career.

WARNING! to people planning on purchasing dunk packages. I don't know if this is a problem with all dunk packages, but I noticed after I bought Shawn Kemp's that it was harder for me to dunk. For the longest time I've been running with no dunk package and 10 specialty dunks and I can raise up pretty much whenever I get a step on a defender. After putting on Kemp's some of those same situations I'd just lay it up. I thought it was just me, but it happened several times. Luckily (as always) I had a backup save and reverted to a earlier file. It's worth it to lose 1 game to get that 3 million back.

My athletic SF also got drafted by the Suns early. Haven't gotten that starting spot yet but I'm definately making waves. After struggling in my season debut I put up monster games with my best being a 24 point, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, and 1 assist night. Too bad the rest of my team hasn't been doing as well.

The Suns must really want a SF because they drafted me, too. 50 games in, my 6-9 athletic three is averaging 40 ppg, 7 rpg, 5 apg and is leading the league in blocks with 2 per.

It seams that since My Player was introduced in 2k10 you had to score a ton of points for your team to win since you teammate's AI is so inept. They are better this year, but with my opponents raining threes like crazy(and the cpu trading away all my team's good players) I still have to score at least 40 to win. Shooting is also a better option than passing in a lot of cases because too many passes lead to turnovers. I don't think they could even fix the passing with a patch unless they go back to 2k10's passing system(minus the speed boost with the lead pass).

I'm also finding it hard to call for alley-oops. The computer would usually just ignore me or throw me a regular pass.
