So after getting a team record 23 dimes in a key game, I was feeling pass-happy again the next day which was another key game, and I had like 20 in the 4th quarter when I got a new objective... "make history, set a team record in assists". Weird that I didn't get it last time, but I ended with 24 dimes (breaking my own record) and getting 1,000 SP (which doubled into 2K).

47 assists to 5 turnovers in two games is crazy for a Small Forward.

Question... what day is the trade deadline?

i.e. when can I exhale and not worry about Cousins and Evans getting dealt? I'm close to the AS Break so I know it's close!

What do you do to get assists? I'm the complete opposite. I'm like the black hole. I'd love to set my guys up, but there aren't many opportunities and since the computer has that psychic steal bull**** going on I figure it's better to just score myself.

Well my pass is maxed out at 80 (I also maxed out ball security and off hand dribbling because I'm sick of turnovers... only weakness in my game).

Honestly, I do a few things.

#1) Drive and dish

#2) Throw entry passes from the post-up position

#3) Post-spin from the top of the key and dish

#4) Run the break and hit the trailer/wing (my speed is up to an 86 and climbing so I run the break a lot).

#5) Dish off right before the clock expires (they jack up shots, but the CPU bail out goes in a lot.

#6) Rely on your post players and recognize when they have deep position, or a man sealed off

#7) Most importantly don't force stupid passes.

Does anyone know how I can upload a highlight reel and post it in here? I made two sick ones from my last two games. In the first reel, it shows off some of my passing ability. One play has me head faking two guys and lead passing to O'Neal for the slam, and the other has me throwing a cross court oop to Cousins for the slam.

After my combo guard got drafted by the Suns, I mostly backed up Pietrus at the 2. Got 15-20 minutes a game or so. Then the Suns decided to trade Nash and Brooks, so I'm a starter now. Problem is, they also traded Gortat, and he was our only consistent rebounder! The starting frontcourt is currently Caron Butler, Ron Artest, and Marcus Morris. I actually just noticed that whoever made the rosters I'm using got the Morris twins mixed up; Marcus should be on the Rockets and Markieff on the Suns.

Anyway, we're getting killed on the boards. OKC just had like 15 offensive rebounds on us. Currently 11th in the conference, though we've got a winning record since I was named a starter. I got rookie of the month for December, so maybe I'll get ROTY. They better find a way to beef up the 4 and 5, though, or I'm requesting a trade.

Well after 9 games with Washington(5-4), I got traded to the Kings(4-7) but should be able to have a great young team. Averaged 22PPG, 2.5RPG and 6ASP.

Haven't seen any other trades but mine and no games where the AI goes perfect(or even 50+%) from downtown. But I play on pro/default so could be why.

Oh maaan, trades coming real fast.
My team the Celtics have done this so far since i've been traded there:
Ben Gordon and Tayshaun Prince for noooo... Paul Pierce.
Shane Battier ( really!?! darn) for noooo. Glen Davis ( Davis was great to play with hits tough layups and just a real hard nosed player) sucks to see him gone. and we gget Battier, hes useless and old, plus he looks real weird.

trade deadline is coming fast and i hope no more trades will be done.

Is it impossible to draw charges on here? I'm in my first game as a starter, the thirteenth game of the year (I think it's the thirteenth) and we are playing the Knicks.

I'm slaughtering them (I say I because that's the way my player thinks, it's all about me, screw the team aspect of it, like Iverson), we are up by 30, and are currently on a 17 to 2 run. I miss a triple, and I hurry back on defense, it's three on one fast break, I'm alone against Billups, Melo and Fields, Billups passes to Melo at about three quarter court, I get in position in the paint, well in front of the semi circle, and I say "I don't have the height or vert to challenge Melo if he dunks, I'll try to draw the charge. I set up for the charge, am in perfect position, not moving at all, he does a hop step, runs me over, and does a layup that misses. But there's a foul, I'm thinking, YES, charge.... wrong. blocking foul on me. Melo gets two free throws. What the hell? I could have had set up a whole picnic with the amount of time I was standing there like a wax sculpture and you call blocking foul? That's bull.

Ok So I need some help here Fellas. I am trying to play as an atheltic C 7'2" but I cant get anything going. The most rebounds I get a game is 2 or so. Forgot trying to score the defenders are on my like white on rice. I cant get any seperation.

Anyone have tips to improve big man play down low? Such as getting boards and scoring?

In 2k11 i was fantastic as a big averaging 25+ points a game and getting as high as 27, 28 boards some games.

For some reason I am lost this year trying to play down low.

Any help would be great!

rebounds is weird this year since i get out jump by guards and i have max vertical and a good rebound rating so idk either

Yes I just lost Jason Kidd and Terry to the Knicks, for Chauncey Billups and Ronny Turiaf, like wtf Terry was my 2nd scorer and I lost him for someone that plays my position (and I am better then him) and a center thats worse than the one I have (Turiaf is better than Chandler on defense but I need offense). I also got Shane Battier to "replace" Terry's 3's but we all know you is better at 3's. Damn Battier misses open 3's and I cannot go to Dirk 24/7, it was a stupid trade, I wish I could have stopped it. *sigh*

I got the "Set a team record" thing with the Wizards when I had 52 points in the 4th quarter. Ended up breaking Gilbert's record with 62 points on 34 shots I believe.

Happened to me. Once after a game I got my own shoes, the commercial for the shoes, a magazine cover, a billboard for the shoes, and another billboard.

Would have been nice if they spread it out...

Yeah, that's exactly what happened to me. I wish it was more spread out too. Get something new throughout your career, not just one season. Hopefully they do that in 2k13.

You speaking about the Where Amazing Happens? I got that one 2 I was so hyped but I got it even I was 64 (now im 69 but I've played a lot of games). As for the games man I had three close back to back to back games lol. First we beat the Heat 89-88 thanks to Dirk hitting the three with 5 sec on te clock, the second we lost to the Knicks 90-88 becuase I missed the three to win , I was open and all, lastly we beat Boston 89-87 because Terry blocked Allen from three. I was so hyped those games, I was feeling and acting as if I was actually in it lol. Also I agree with you idk whats up with the coaching plays and rotation, even the timeouts are weird. Like we on a 10-0 or 16-4 run and he calls a timeout and takes out Dirk and Terry like come on they are the ones scoring smh. I also hate when Terry doesn't pass me the ball (I'm PG -_-) take a stupid shot (like a "fastbreak" even though it's him and 3 other people from the other team) and he takes the shot. Also idk if it's because I am with the Mavs (even though their defense is good enough) I call a play and they do it but then mess up and leave a man open for a open three smh, happens all the time.

My Coach never does that. But the defense in this game is horrendous. I just hope they hurry up and get a patch out there. Defense, 3pt shooting and trades.
