im in the the 1st month of November in my 2nd year, my MP is a point guard with the clippers. his overall rating is 79 as of now.

My guess is that your rating and awards you win have something to do with endorsements

I don't in this game becuase I thought was around 85 like in 2k11 but I heard people have gotten them around there low 70's so I want to know

For the shoes? 70 overall. Happened to me right before the allstar break of my rookie season. In fact, I debuted them during the alllstar game. +4 3pt shooting and they look fly as hell

I want to know this too. I know you can hold the LB and call for a pick, but can you call other plays from a non-pg position? In 2k11, once you reached a certain chemistry, you were allowed to call plays. My team chemistry is well in the 80's.

Oh, is there a way to deny a play? Like during the end of quarter situations, I like the the ball in my hand in an isolation. I get the ball at the top of the key and the cpu seems to recognize as they spread out. Then as the time runs down, the damn post players run up to set a pick for me when I don't want one. All they are doing is bringing their defender to me.

FINALLY. I got the game in the mail today and popped it in and booted up my player. Made a 6'2, 187 pound athletic pg, which is basically what I am if i were to suddenly transform into an NBA player. I put up 19 points in the showcase, along with 5 assists and 4 rebounds. After the games, I had interviews with the rockets, suns, and wizards. The wizards interview I just straight up told them I wasn't tryna play behind John Wall.

The rockets and suns interviews went great, and they both seemed very interested in me. I honestly couldn't care less which team I went to, and by the time the 13th and 14th pick rolled around, it was time to find out where my future would lay.

I got picked 13th in the 2011 NBA draft, and I am pumped as hell to take the reins from Nash. I"ll start games tomorrow.

Year 2 playoffs first game went for 52 and 11reb with 4 blocks. We knocked off charlotte in 7 I went 28-10-2 big baby couldn't handle me. We are currently up 3-2 in nj. If we close them out derrick rose and lebron await. Ugh I need my teamates to help out.

Yes, and it looks like you can't avoid it by turning off auto save and reverting to an earlier save file. I just played the same game 3 times and the computer INSISTS on making this stupid trade. It's trading for TWO SFs (giving us a total of 7) and trading two of our PFs leaving us with a 3 man rotation at the 4 and 5 meaning I'm probably going to have to play more minutes there. What's crazy is that I REALLY liked Trevor Booker. He wasn't a scorer, but he was a very solid defender off of the bench.

...What's scary is that I already went through this season (fouled out of all the key games to test something) and before it was over they traded John Wall. If they trade John Wall and I can't undo it I'm done with this mode. Him, Javale McGee, and Tyrus Thomas are why I came there as a free agent.

Had a solid Rookie Showcase as a 3pt PG. Had interviews with Toronto, Sacramento and Detroit. So the Raptors pass on me @ 5 so I expect to go 7th to the Kings, but for some reason Washington drafted me. Really stupid logic there since they have JW on point.
Two more games and i'll probably ask for a trade.

I got drafted to Washington too....things didn't work out well there with me...they kept putting me at the 2 spot....then they traded away everyone for more guards, which led to me playing the 3 and 4 at times....I got traded to Miami for Bosh, just made my return to DC, scored 79 but we lost... They wizards r loaded now though.....McGee, Bosh, Joe Johnson, Wall, Okur, and Gordon....

I think the endorsements has to do with your League Wide Popularity also. I hit 70 and immediately got a letter from Jordan saying he was welcoming me to the Jordan Brand team and I got the Where Amazing Happens commercial.

Still waiting to get my first pair of shoes though...

Whelp, I'm officially rated higher than everyone at either the 1, 2, or 3 (the only positions I get put at) on my team.

Still coming off the bench. I don't know what happened, but this is messed up. Under my minutes, my role is "Starter".... What the ****.
