Started my point guard and had a decent showing the rookie showcase. Nothing special, but hey what can ya do? Afterwards, the Knicks said that I would be their future point guard if I wanted to join them. I said "hell yes" to the thought of playing with 'melo and Amar'e.

The knicks drafted me, and we were winning right out of the gate. "Wow, it's awesome when the team-CPU will actually put the ball in the basket" was the thought running through my head the first few games. Then I see that there was some trades made. I immediately noticed that 'Melo and fields was replaced with Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo.

I was okay with this since I actually thought it would improve our line-up. A couple trades later and this was a entirely new Knicks team, but I kept with them because they still had Amar'e. Until they traded Amar'e to the Celtics for Rondo.

I immediately demanded a trade. The knicks told me I would their future PG and then they go and trade Amar'e for Rondo? I got traded to the Clippers and in my first game as a starter there we played the Lakers. I put up 30 points, 7 assists, 2 steals, and a block and was named MVP for the game. I also hit the buzzer beater on a in bound pass with 0.7 seconds left for the game winning two points. Three games later we played the Lakers again. They murdered us by 30 points. I'm just hoping they don't trade away Blake Griffin :X

Turn off auto-save and check your roster after every game. Save only if the computer doesn't make some bonehead trade. This saved me just now. I forgot to save after one game so I lost two games but that's a small price to pay for losing a decent starting shooting guard (Jordan Crawford) for one that's complete *** (Demar Derozan).

yeah, being able to sim in a calendar rather than to next key game would be very nice. I can't believe there isn't a calendar system already.

I like how they have it in MLB 2k. I sometimes dont even want to play all key games. I dont like my team, but I dont want to ask for trade. I just want to sim to offseason.
But, I will wait until patch until I play my next season/for my new team. I will pick my team and contract. But, I dont want to go to my team and it get decimated by all star.

I made the All Star team as a backup(8th spot) and the Rookie-Soph team with my SF in my 2nd year. I had a late push to make it in the All-Star game.

Has anyone gotten to contract negotiations yet? The most I could get was $15 Mil (I took a bit less to play with a better team). After all of the crazy accolades I got I figured I'd get more. I did practically everything except win a championship and MVP (hell I finished second to Lebron in my third year).

Joe Johnson never did that...

15 mil per year? That's not bad for such a young guy. I'm just about to finish my 2nd year and am really boosting my players pts now that I've maxed out mid range jumper and am lights out no matter who's guarding me.

I just want some dunk packages and to finally attend a training camp.

MyPlayer got injured for four days. Missed about one game. Lost my return game against the Bulls

Me, Conley and Roy were injured. I need Roy back asap. Gary Neal sucks. Can't hit an open shot to save his life.

Got my Where Amazing Happens, Style Magazine and another Billboard. This is a nice element to the game.

I think I just encountered a huge glitch. I just got like 4 endorsements in about 5 minutes. I didn't even play a game yet.

I think it has to do with your overall rating for some of them. If you made your overall go up you'd get some sometimes.

Thanks. I'm only at 71.. I just seen my commercial. That was AMAZING! I loved it.

Just played the Nets and won by the skin of our teeth. Rudy Gay was balling. The best I've seen him play so far.

I also hate our Coach rotation. It doesn't make a lick of sense. Oh well..

I got drafted 9th as a PG to the Bobcats and played a grand total of 4 key games my first season(I played other regular games, but there was only 4 key games).

I got a good 40000 skill points from simming my first year, and have 3pt at 90, mid range at 90, pass at 86, and layup at 93 as of right now. Going to work on speed/quickness and then start working on my low post game.

2nd season, I went from scoring 49(all star sim) in a game and breaking the record for threes in a game(13) to scoring 6...lol

Averaging 16 4 and 2 atm...

Man you're lucky then, I'm in the first year, first round pick 15 (Ind) and man I became a starter because Collison got injured and got like 10-11 games to play and show what I and oh man do I regret that now. I got traded to the Mavs and I have so many key games that even if I sim them I playin so many games in my first season. I average 39.2 mins, 19.4 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 8.9 apg, 1.4 spg and 3.3 tpg (what can I say I have no handles lol) I also broke the record for threes with 16 in 24 attempted, like my threes and mids r my Ace game they both 95 and close and in are 89 and 91 (in that order), in others I can score. However I didnt want to start just yet, i wanted to get the sixth man title first then start on my second year. Like i said before I play so many key games now and it's annoying because I didn't want to play my first year but I did want him to be good enough to et good points on the sims. So what you guys think, should I go ahead and restart my player (even though I am past the all star game, also wtf there was no rookie challenge, am I the only one?, I blame the lockout smh) or should I just keep on playing?

You speaking about the Where Amazing Happens? I got that one 2 I was so hyped but I got it even I was 64 (now im 69 but I've played a lot of games). As for the games man I had three close back to back to back games lol. First we beat the Heat 89-88 thanks to Dirk hitting the three with 5 sec on te clock, the second we lost to the Knicks 90-88 becuase I missed the three to win , I was open and all, lastly we beat Boston 89-87 because Terry blocked Allen from three. I was so hyped those games, I was feeling and acting as if I was actually in it lol. Also I agree with you idk whats up with the coaching plays and rotation, even the timeouts are weird. Like we on a 10-0 or 16-4 run and he calls a timeout and takes out Dirk and Terry like come on they are the ones scoring smh. I also hate when Terry doesn't pass me the ball (I'm PG -_-) take a stupid shot (like a "fastbreak" even though it's him and 3 other people from the other team) and he takes the shot. Also idk if it's because I am with the Mavs (even though their defense is good enough) I call a play and they do it but then mess up and leave a man open for a open three smh, happens all the time.

Happened to me. Once after a game I got my own shoes, the commercial for the shoes, a magazine cover, a billboard for the shoes, and another billboard.

Would have been nice if they spread it out...


I'm going to play now. Hopefully I can get back into the starting lineup.
