Before the computer traded my team away I was able to score only 20 pts get some boards and share the love with the ball and I was having a blast.

Now its back to how it was the last two years, I am doing all the scoring and its near impossible to get my team to participate in an intellegent manor anymore.

Playing the game like this the last two years was fun but playing it less "supreme scorer" and a little more realistic and balenced was far more entertaining not to mention a few other issues we all know the game has right now.

SG - Junior "ABC" Izzo went for 30 in the rookie showcase. Was eventually interviewed by the Bucks,Bobcats and Warriors and completely bombed the interviews. "ABC" don't want to play for no bums and told these bums I want to play in a big city with lights and be a star and If i'm not drafted top 3 all the other teams in the league would be sorry. ABC was drafted by the Mavs with the 27th or 28th pick lol so bombing the interviews totally worked. Debut game I dropped 10 pts and had a couple dimes.

Fast forward to game 4 and "ABC" is just straight schooling cats out there. Dropping J's and just tea baggin anybody who was in the lane while I was driving the short bus. By far the best game of his short career. Were beating the raptors only by 2 and coach decides "ABC" ain't good enough to be on the court for the 4th quarter.

Izzo goes absolutely sick during the presser saying if he was on the court a bit more they would have won the game and that he is going to be a star in this league for years to come. PLAY ME COACH! Hopefully Carlisle lays off the booze and starts to play his star player because "ABC" won't hesitate to demand a trade 4 games into his illustrious career. Sorry Dirk but there's a new sheriff in town. (Does the Gilbert Arenas bang bang pose)

Heck yea, I'm with u on that training camp... They r so expensive though.....if they give contracts off if overall ratings....Im gonna get a nice deal...if they r giving it off your body of work....I'm gonna break the bank....my player is a 85 overall right now, when contract talks begin....I should be in the high 90's....I think I'm the 8th or 9th overall PG in the league ratings wise....with a whole nother season to go I should reach top 3..

I am trying to boost overall for a big contract. Current 76. About to max Off Awareness(88) then max out Def Awareness. That should get me to 80+. My goal is to get to 85 before end of season

I think that is the biggest problem with the game. Smart play doesn't deliver the proper results. Right away in the Rookie Showcase, you see the seeds of that -- playing as an all-around PG, it doesn't matter how many wide (and I mean WIDE...) open looks you get teammates, they miss -- everything -- and embarrassingly so.

On the Elites there is an SG named Turner -- he's been there for every MP Rookie Showcase game and is supposed to be a three point threat -- and I've watched him clank threes like he's the biggest chucker who ever lived, with no opposing defender within 8 feet of him.

Even more irritating, you drop dimes into bigs within a foot of the basket with no one within 4 or 5 feet of them and they will clank the ball off the BOTTOM OF THE RIM or bong the bunny layup or wait for the defense to collapse while they up fake no one around them, until everyone is, just so that the can get summarily blocked into oblivion.

I am frustrated with this game in the My Player mode. The AI is terrible and I don't understand how we could have lost so much ground between 2K11 and this year's version. I know that I thought MP in 2K10 needed some work. 2K11, in my mind, intelligently addressed many of those concerns, but this year the game has completely regressed -- very disappointing.

As well, with all the things that have been added to the mode, I still don't see the things that NEED to be in there as options in order to develop a SIM feel. I understand that I can go in and adjust all kinds of settings so that bizarre trades don't happen, but WHY SHOULD I? At some point, shouldn't the folks making the game do some part to ensure that there is a bit of REALITY in our Virtual Reality with this product?

Right now, I'm leaning towards seeing how the Association is in this year's product and then I will likely go back to playing MP on 2K11

Straight cheesing with my SG. 6 games in the Wizards are 2-4 (we lost the first four games) and I'm the third leading scorer in the NBA with 33.3 a game... off the bench, averaging 20 mins. I'm rated 68 already playing every game. We suck major balls if I don't score, I feel like Kobe right after Shaq left. We are on a 2 game winning streak because I destroyed The Bulls and The Lakers from deep. The post game interview asked me about shooting all of those threes and my guy said he doesn't pass the ball. "Even if they double team me I still might shoot it", my thoughts exactly. John Wall leads the league in assists because all he does is pass it to me and I launch the triple. He averages 13 assists a game. Team chemistry is going down but the other two are constantly rising. Trying to see how fast I can get to the Hall of Fame. It should take about 5 years if I play all of the games and score like crazy.

Currently playing the Kings and witnessed the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen on this game.... Guarding Tyreke Evans..... I have a 95 defensive awareness.... and he made me fall to the ground, yeah, he broke RH3's ankle.... I got up, and he did it again! In the same damn play. Screw him, I'm going into Kobe mode, bout to drop 81 on his *** once they put me back in the game.

once I boosted shot low post, standing dunk and blocking my center has gone straight beast mode. lat two games player of the game, 28-8-4blocks-3ast, next game, 27-13-3blocks-2ast. I have ben beasting on brook lopez and al jefferson, y'all can't stop me. I'm hitting about 58% of my shots, I've maxed out medium range jumper to 85, I'm saving up to boost that fully to 90 and vertical to 90.

I'm going to continueto boost shot low post and shot close, hopefully bringing them both to 90. dunk is like 1100 points and I'd love to get that up to a 90

I just won the NBA title....I'm about to start season 2 shortly...I'm rated 88 overall....oh yea, time to really smash now....we picked up some free agents but no center...drafted a rookie...must be Wade's cousin or sumthin....lol...he's a center....last name Wade.....maybe I'll drop him off a few assist to help hm garner some ROY hype....

I must say though, last year everyone including myself complained about the lack of endorsements n stuff....I'm starting to wonder this year, when they will run out...I'm not gonna ruin em for y'all though....I was trippin when I saw a couple of em though....

I totally agree, I dont know if I will go as far as putting back 2K11 in the disc tray (although it did cross my mind) but I did pick up Forza 4 due to how upset I am with this mode right now.

So I was traded to the Wizards at the start of my 2nd season and was coming off the bench at first. First month of the year, averaged 12 points and 4 rebounds. 2nd month, I became the started and averaged 16 points and 6 rebounds, and now in the 3rd month, I averaged 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 50% from the floor and 41% from 3 point range (I'm a face-up PF, and this is while only playing key games). I'm now a 71 overall (offensive and defensive awareness are both in the 90's and offensive clutch and consistency are at 80).

I don't get how you guys have gotten your overalls so high lol.

My team is straight balling lately. Not sure what happened, but we can't lose anymore.

Started 12-25 through the first 37 games.

Have now just won our 14th straight game. Most of them weren't even close.


My guy is playing better, but I was in the starting lineup for 6 games (1-5 record) before the win streak. I'm basically putting up the same numbers as I did then, except a little bit more steals (2 to about 4) and slightly higher assist (7 to about 10). Lower fg% a bit. From about 58% to 50%.

Anyway, went from last place in the NBA to 6th seed at the moment. I'll take it.

Still can't get allstar votes, even though I'm regularly dropping 30/5/10/4 a game lately. Haters.

Had to restart a new my player because I accidentally turned off my xbox while it was saving. My first guy was a monster.

My second my player had a rough start even though he got drafted earlier than the first one did. Im a 6'6 SG went to the bobcats signed for a 2.02M Deal. Requested my trade to the thunder to help out as they would be a dangerous team with a good SG. So the first year we go in 5th seed in the play offs and lose to the bulls. Line up was KD, Westbrook, Shane Battier, Ilbaka, and Perkins.

Then as every one experiences i got some crazy trades. Biggest one being KD for Dwight, at first i was mad but the trade actually made us better, Second season we went in the first seed

Now im in my 3rd season and my team is bull crap. Dwight Howard decided he would like to play for the spurs and we picked up Nene. Me and Westbrook are the only good ones, Nene is just decent. The line up is Me, RW, Caron Butler, Lamar odom, and Nene. Bench is Jameer, AK47, Kenyon Martin and some randoms. Sounds kind of good but right now our record is 7-9.

I Cant believe this but i lost ROY to ugly Ricky Rubio, Lol.
Also has anyone been in a late game situation and the AI just completely ruins it for you? Ill be down by 3 with 10 seconds left and they will keep trying to drive and post up while im wide open at the 3 with a 83 3pt rating.

Im about to make a Center so i can switch back and forth, My 2K is getting boring without the crew!

Late game AI absolutely sucks, on both sides. At the end of the game, down three, I've been unconcious from deep, going 7 of 8, with 5 of 5 in the second half. I stand behind the three point line and have 6' Jameer Nelson on me, which means I have over a half of a foot height advantage, at 6'7". John Wall decides to just hold the ball until the final seconds, drive, and ended up getting his layup blocked. A layup... while we're down three.

A few games later we are ahead on the D-Rose'less Bulls (injured). Up two, I inbound the ball to Nick Young because Wall was being doubled, they foul, he hits one but misses the first. The Bulls come down, behind by three, and run the clock out, in which at the buzzer Boozer launches a midrange jumper.... a two pointer... down three. It was incredible.
