What choice I should choose for my contract year? I saved and reloaded many time to see which available options I have.
I'm in the beginning of my 4th season. After drafing by the Suns and requested trade to Bulls at the beginning of my 2nd year, I really wanna continue playing for the Bulls. I won everything with Bulls: MVP, Rings, Final MVP, Defensive Player, lead league in score and steal.
Guess what?, they offered me a 1 year contract for $3m. WT? I think they have somce cap spaces left since their cap is around -$3m. They traded Joakim Noah for me so at least they should be able to give me around $10+ (That's Noah salary).
They even offered Ronnie Brewer for $5m/year while he played around 10 minutes/game.
I then reloaded a few times to see whether Bulls will offer me a better one. (They don't) I found that there are some choices that seem appealling so I made a separete save files for a few teams. Here my choices:
1. With Knicks, I get 14.14m/year. 4 years contract with player option.
Please also note their ages in season 2014-2015. (4th year in the game)
The game rated Knicks overall at 86. Their cap is about -$16m.(included my salary)
The starting will be:
PG: generated player, rated 67. Very weird shot release form, slow and ineffective. Passing rating is so low. (I think lebron gonna do most PG's job anyway)
SG: me, 3 pt specialist, rate 99.
SF: Dorell Wright, rate 72-73.
PF: Lebron, age 29, rate 98. (He didn't exercise player option with Heat while melo also left the team to somewhere else I can't remember) he gonna be with this team for 5 years.
C: Amare, rate 90, age 31.
Well, that's 3 starting rate 90 or more.
6th man: Iggy, rate 85, age 31. He was listed at SG/SF. He should take starting spot from Wright at SF but the stupid AI somehow make him a reserve. The player with more than $10m salary/ year. Not gonna take long before he became unhappy and his rating will be drastically lower soon.
No other notable benches, I think.
2. Wolve. Overall team rating is 87, their cap is -$25 (already included my salary). I got $14.14m/years for five year. (I prefer 4 years) No player option.
PG: Rubio, rate 80. I heard that his rating will go a lot higher. Someone in this forum said it gonna reach 90 soon. It is the last year of his RC contract so I'm unsure with the salary cap, Wolve will be able to sign him next year.
SG: Me
SF: Lebron (On one of my save file, Wolve signed Melo, rated 91 with age 31 instead of him. Since Lebron is younger and better, I choose this save as my choice instead)
PF: Love, rate 84.
C: Anthony Randolph, rate 82.
6th man: Beasley rate 86. He's gonna be unhappy and his rating gonna be a lot lower soon. Maybe the team should move Love to C and start hm at PF. However, AI didn't do that and if they do, the defese gonna suffer. (For Put Love and Beasley at #4 and #5 instead of Randolph)
Bench: Wesley Johnson rate 78 ($7m salary), Last year of his contract so I don't thik he gonna sign a new deal with the team.
Wolve didn't have a bench PG. The only real PG in the team is Rubio. However, the one who mostly carry the ball is Lebron. (Since I already played one game to test the team, I know this)
3. Lakers: Also got $14.14 millions/ 4-5years.
PG: Ramon Session, rated around 7x. (Can't remeber. maybe 74-78)
SG: Kobe, age 35, rate 88-89.
SF: Me at 6'6'' has to play here.
PF: Gasol age 35, rating 83-84
C: Bynum, rate 87-88 (second highest for C after Howard)
Their cap is around -$6m or something. too bad that Kobe and Gasol are old. odom is now at 68-69 rating.
4. If i choose Bulls, I can play with Rose rate 94, Generated SF rate 82, Boozer rate 78 and generated C rated 72. Deng rated 78 as 6th man. Rose is terrible in the game since he mostly dribble to the traffic paint, oftenly getting block or missed a lay up, ignoring wide open shot and barely make Jump shoot.)
Seriously, I'm not a fan of all teams above besides Bulls but they offered me a stupid contract after everything I've done for them. (If I choose to stay there for another 1 years, gonna lost around 10 millions that can be used for boosting Caps and Signature Package since I still didn't use my money at all and I got only $3.7millions for my first 3 years.
5 and etc. They are also other choices but seems not smart ones. I can play with Wade (Age 31, 96 rating) and Bosh in Heat with 14.14m/year but the AI will bench Wade for me instead of moving him to PG instead of 70 rating PG. Grizzlies have the highest overall rating right now with 92. They have Rudy Gay rate 89 and mayo rate 88. (Conley rate 80 and Gasol rate 76) I can get only around 13m/ year and they gonna bench Mayo for me too.
Now, I think I will stick with Wolve. Any comments?
Besides Bulls which will get 4th draft overall every year (alphabetical orders glicth), the teams above will not get high draft picks.(Right now, 76ers get super RC 3 years in a row and their overall team rating is at 91.)
