I bought the game from a small chain, and no code for me.

I got mine early over the weekend and my copy came with the code. Worked fine, tried out Sacramento.

But it's an in game codes, not a regular DLC code. So that means the teams are already on the disc, right?. I'd imagine it should be pretty simple for 2K to issue more codes to unlock the 2 extra teams for those who didn't receive the code.

did you get it from a small store?

i think OS needs to shut this thread down
im tired of seeing this people need to know that you will not get the code until the actual street release date this is getting ridicilous.

Yup that what I was saying. I think it's a in game code to unlock those teams. Could someone who has the code and playing with the teams explain how they put the code in. To get the teams. Because if it is in game. Everyone coul probably put the same code in.

I got a copy from the same store as some other posters here

One I know got one, I didnt... im not sure what you're sick of

Thats just silly to think they discriminated which copies would have a piece of paper in them and which ones wouldnt

Some codes are appearing on eBay for $40+

SMH @ some of these resellers!

Hopefully 2K will address this issue once the game is officially released because this is unacceptable!

I'm pretty sure they took out the paper insert from the shipped copies and resealed/shrink-wrapped the game again and are selling it as "new."


This would explain all of the "disc only" listings appearing on eBay and Craigslist.

They just call 2K and tell them their copy didn't come with the code. 2K gives them the code, they try to sell it cause people are confused if it is a preorder bonus or not.

Ready for my copy, but this release seems to get shadier by the minute.... The wont have much choice but to address it im sure customers will make enough noise.
