So do you guys just ignore all the stat glitches then, when you use a custom roster? Because I'd LOVE to use a custom roster. However, I'm a bit of a stat junky, and I don't want teams making the playoffs or not making them simply due to a glitch with their record. I don't want my team averaging 100 assists per game. That's not fun to me. Haha.

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
I'm currently in my 2nd season in the 2nd round of the playoffs with the Sixers. I'm the 4 seed (finished 50-32) and just swept the Kemba Walker led Bobcats in the first round.
Starting 5:
Jrue Holiday
Evan Turner
Andre Iguodala
Ryan Anderson
Brook Lopez
Bench:
Thad Young
Jodie Meeks
E. Udoh
N. Vucecvic
Tyshawn Taylor
Quincy Miller
Bill Walker
Lavoy Allen
I signed both Brook Lopez and Ryan Anderson in the off-season. Depending on how this season ends, I may need to beef up my bench but Thad has been a beast (3rd in scoring 14 pts/game).PSN & Xbox Gamertag - TheCrenshaw

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
^Denver's a lot of fun to use, and if you play your cards right, you could end up with one unstoppable roster. The duo of McGee & Faried is amazing.
LAC is fun as well, as long as you do what you've got to do to keep CP3 around. I made the mistake of apparently not playing to him enough, and he decided to test FA. So I restarted my LAC Association with a friend, and immediately traded him for Wall.NBA - CHICAGO BULLS

How is everyone signing OJ Mayo in Free Agency? I'm still in my first season with the Cavs and last time I checked OJ Mayo was locked up for 7 years with a huge contract...Comment

Go into SEASON MODE with that team. Once in season mode, you must EXPORT THE TEAM. Then after you've exported the team and saved them, LOAD THE TEAM. Then when you go into Association mode, choose the LOADED TEAM.
And then you should be able to use them? :XNBA - CHICAGO BULLS

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
what do you guys think abt starting on association with the phoenix suns?
as you know they have 2 stars (hill and nash) and besides that a solid and somewhat deep roster, think i could be contending even in the first season (im not planing on changing the team a lot).
then later on add some more talent. keeping hill and nash for at least 1 more years is what id like to do.
what do think, could that be any exciting, also compared to other teams?Spending time with Jesus!

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
I'm in my 1st year with the Cavs and my SG Parker has a 2 year/4 million contract left (so after this season just 1). But when I simmed to check out the FA's I saw he was retiring.
Do I need to trade him now or can I hold on to him until he retires. I don't know if his 2nd year still affects my cap space even though he's gone, as in: I still have to pay his 2nd year even though he retires.
Or am I wrong?Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
Now on the 2nd round of the playoffs and my okc got thr 1st seed vs twolves in the 1st round. Won the series 4-1 but it was quite a challenge! Had a hardtime closing it out but thanks to the last second steal and dunk by kd!
2nd round vs the spurs. Sneaked out game 1 with kd scoring 43 pts and ray allen had 4 treys (part of season trade for harden). Game two we won with ibaka had a career high 33 pts
Got 2-0 lead vs spurs but needed a load of adjustments like setting the pressure and matching up kd vs ginobli on the defensive end.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
I did an offline fantasy association with the 76ers and ended up having the #1 ranked team with an 88 overall. Here's how my team looks like: (I had the 7th pick on serpentine)
PG Jeff Teague
SG James Harden
SF Terrence Williams
PF Paul Milsap
C Andrew Bynum
PG Andrew Goudelock
SG Gerald Green
SG Brandon Rush
SF Kawhi Leanord
PF Tyler Hansbrough
PF Channing Frye
C Chris Anderson
It's really only my starting lineup that's great. I might redo it maybe to draft someone different for my bench but any suggestions? Any idea for what player of position to trade for?GT: assassinK24Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
Quick question:
I'm playing a 29 games season (12 min quarters) with the Cavs. So I don't have games every weeks so this means Irving isn't able to become "Player of the Week" regularly, I understand that.
My concern is: Will Irving be the MVP when this season ends. After I played a game he's either 1st or 2nd for the MVP award but when I didn't have a game for a week he falls out completely. I'm leading the league with Irving in points and assists (33-35 points PPG - 8 APG) so I would figure he would be in that list all the time.
I'm just worried that I don't play any games during the final week and I don't get the MVP because of that. I'm having a Lebron-type season here in points-rebounds-assists and steals so I would figure I'd be at top all the time. I saw Jennings leading the MVP race when he only scores 20 or 24 points per game, of course in a week where I didn't play. I know I can't even change anything to the result but if I don't get the MVP with Irving it would suck.Comment
