I've been playing on Pro/Custom since day one. The play is awesome but the wandering defensive/offensive players at times really annoys me. I'm still tweaking foul sliders as the cpu gets to the line way more than I do and I attack the basket just as much.
For a realistic gameplay experience, try Pro/Default Slider settings

Re: For a realistic gameplay experience, try Pro/Default Slider settings
Guys, can somebody please try playing the Patrick Ewing game in the Legends with the Pro/Default settings? I tried this setting yesterday after I read the thread, and it just felt I'm not getting the same results as you guys.
My stat lines were not realistic at all in the two games I played with 12 min qtrs. It was like 53% Orlando 57% Knicks on FG%. Orlando had 10+ more offensive rebounds than the Knicks (me). Was Orlando a much better rebounding team against the Knicks of Ewing, Oakley, and Charles Smith? Also the threes were at upper 40s% for both team and there were like a total of about 30 3-point attempt for Orlando.
WTF, please try this Legends game without any tweaking of the sliders, and see if you can produce the same stats as your Wizards games. This will be a big favor for me. Thanks.Comment

Apart from adjusting fouls and fatigue, I've been using Pro/Default since the game came out. I'm actually quite surprised it isn't common.Comment

Re: For a realistic gameplay experience, try Pro/Default Slider settings
Finally adjusted my sliders yesterday to PRO/Default - I adjusted the MID Range shot mid range tendency a bit to 54, lowered 3point tendency to 47, raised the fouls sliders, and lowered the play the passing lane on the CPU side to 39, and adjusted on ball defense to 47. It seemed like the CPU finally played like it was supposed to - I played against the 93 Bulls and for the first time since I had the game, Jordan played like real life Jordan. The bulls offense moved the ball around alot, Jordan and Pippen attacked the rim and were shooting pull up jumpers in my face. Jordan constantly tried to post up smaller guards and when I double teamed him in the post, sometimes he would pull out, wait for the double team to leave and pull a jumper in my face - it was great. Will have to play more games to see how this works out, but liking what im seeing so far.
Also it feel more realistic when I was on fastbreaks and also going to the rim against a defender, didn't feel like the CPU was cheating me. I also lowered the Dunk success to 46 and dunks in traffic to 45. Also the 93 Bulls kicked my butt by 13, I was playing with the 86 Celtics.Comment

Re: For a realistic gameplay experience, try Pro/Default Slider settings
i just increased the shooting sliders for the cpu, as well as maxed out their offensive and defensinve awareness, whilst reducing mine to 0
its all about making sure that, to win, a player has to control his defense (not the cpu)Comment

This also works for online - you can actually play defense. My friend and I were playing and he tried marching into the paint with Tyreke Evans, but it would get swatted away like it should be. I thought it was me, but on Hall of Fame the defense is terrible. Pro the defense actually works. And our game wasn't high scoring. I won 97-85.Comment

I was skeptical, but...
THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE LIL JIMMYS!!!
I'm so glad I saw this thread. The game is now both fun and realistic. I never thought that would happen. Thank you!
You do need to make some minor adjustments to fatigue and fouls. And turn down the CPU 3 Pt Shot Tendency. Other than that, it is amazing how good this game is now.Comment

Re: For a realistic gameplay experience, try Pro/Default Slider settings
I finally played a game on Pro/Default, and I will not be playing on that setting LOL. I beat the Heat (the highest rated team in the game) with the Wolves (the lowest rated team in the game), at the Heat, 120-102 (or something like that it; it was a couple of days ago).
When people say Pro is realistic, I would say it's probably the only difficulty setting that doesn't give the CPU any attribute bumps, unless, of course, you play with clutch factor on. That scripts the game at certain points to allow the CPU to go on runs. I've tested it repeatedly on 2K11 and 2K12. You can't tell me those runs are dynamic LOL.According to my old marketing professor, satisfaction is when product performance meets or exceeds consumer expectation.Comment
