Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
Gameplay:
-I hate that I can't cut, at all. It is a foul to throw someone out of the paint.
-When the animations shows that contact was made during a shot and I get knocked down, it's a foul. Get rid of that dribbling off the teammates foot please, I know you want a more realistic feel, but this feature you can do without.
-Also Greg Oden should not be able to keep pace with Derrick Rose, or be quick enough to keep him from driving to the basket, that is just stupid. -Make player interactions more realistic i.e. dialogue, reaction to fouls or bad calls ( by that I mean he is actually complaining to the ref and not some random fan in the stands), and more player fan interaction.
-Make height difference matter. Earl Boykins is not going to disturb a jumper or layup by Lebron James.
-cpu a.i. is still to stupid to put in to words. If I am pushing the ball up the court, why on earth would you impede my dribbling to call for the ball with a 3 on 1.
My player: I spend 90% of my time on my player so here we go.
-Make it more personal. During half time, do not talk about Luis Scola's 8 points if I have scored 60. The draft should call your name, especially if it is one of the template names that already exist. If you are tearing through the league why not more personal in game dialogue about your success. More endorsements please and they should be spread through out your career. (idea, make endorsements something that updates throughout your career so there is a new one as you grow throughout the game.
-Crew mode or pick up games, I don't care which one, I want it back. Find a way to punish hackers so they can't participate or even suspend there online use for a time. I was annoyed with that as well.
-Make the coaches smarter. If I have a triple double in the first quarter, why bench until the game ends. That's dumb.
-This may be stretch, but the game does put emphasis on being a superstar. I want to see if they can make it to where you explode into the league the same way Lebron James, Michael Jordan or Blake Griffin did. Receive a higher rating depending on your performance before you reach the league. maybe do drills that will increase several stats so many points based on performance.(somewhat like ufc)
-More off court action would be nice as well, whether it be charity or speaking, maybe even make a mini game out of it.
Thats it for now.Comment

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
- "Bad Call for Pass" needs to go or at least be tweaked. I'm tired of being docked for calling for the ball when I'm wide open. I've even called for the ball on and inbounds pass and gotten "Bad Call For Pass".
- "Bad Transition Defense" needs to go as well. You can't get back on every play (unlike the CPU). Besides, when I'm in the paint and my teammates at the top of the key get stripped, am I really supposed to waste my stamina to race down the floor even though I'm not going to get back in time to contest the shot? I've even had situations where it wasn't really a fast break, and we were in a half court setting with everyone back and I got docked for it. Players give up on plays sometimes.
- Custom slider sets in My Player. 1 for us, 1 for our teammates and 1 for the opposing team.
- Fix rotation logic so that minutes and substitution patterns aren't so out of whack especially if we have a certain coach.
- Let us edit coach ratings as well as edit the playbook in My Player like we were able to do in 2K10.
- Let drafting be dynamic. What I mean by that is that it looks silly for both Kemba Walker and I to be the 9th pick in the draft. Mix it up a bit.

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
I'd like this to be an optional setting. I'm the kind of person that hates seeing everything out of whack. Before I start a My Player, I spend hours trying to perfect rosters and rotations because I'm that much of a stickler on being as realistic as possible ie. I bumped Thabo Sefolosha's overall so that James Harden will actually come off the bench. Thabo still plays the same, but I just want realism.------------------------------------------------Comment

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
We should be able to do a drop step and a layup all in one motion, as such:

The closest I've seen to that is the animation where the guy flips it (the ball)` above his head with his back to the defender.Comment

I say completely the opposite - get rid of all the current teams and have nothing but a legends game.-----------------------------------------

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
The layup logic really needs to be tweaked. It's so frustrating to go up for a wide open layup only to have your player unnecessarily try to pull of a reverse or switch hands layup. That combined with the speed bursts the CPU gets and the lack of foul calls makes slashing really limited.
Oh and shot clock cheese needs to go too. It's gotten to the point where it's not even just crazy shots going in. But now, perimeter defense seems to get negated when the shot clock kicks in. I had a possession where I was defending Kyrie Irving. I had him locked up. He couldn't go anywhere. But as soon as the shot clock started winding down, all of a sudden, there was like no collision on defense. He just ran in place against my body until I slid out of the way and he hit a jumper.Comment

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
The ability to pass fake and continuing the dribble afterwards
Example of a basic pass fake:

Now for some stylish ones (you should have to have a good pass rating, so I don't want to see Dwight Howard making these types of fakes LOL):

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
^ Everything is good, except no one should be disallowed to do a moving ball fake. If you try it with someone like Dwight Howard or Andrew Bynum, there should be a good chance that he will mishandle the ball or travel, and even if he doesn't, the ensuing shot/pass after the pass fake should have a good chance of being inaccurate as a result.Comment
