Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
My favorite game is the Association mode (offline). You can say that for this game mode is buying the game. Do you think this mode will be improved? Unfortunately, in the last year, there were no improvementsComment

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
I wonder if the dev team has considered tweaking the crowd so that they'd all track the ball (or the play at hand in general). If you think about it, this is how it's always been and sort of makes the game look odd at times:
No one is even acknowledging Zo with the ball. They're just essentially staring off into a point on the floor.
I honestly don't care about the actual resolution of the crowd, but I thought this could be something they look at. Think about how much more real the game would feel if they implemented that change.Comment

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
can you guys improve v.i.p viewer? rate my offense/defense then give me an overall rating. I like to check my viewer every now and then to see what I can improve.
also on regular practice mode, could there be an option to make it the same as the training mode on association, where the a.i. is shooting hoops with you and there are a lot of b balls.
sometimes I like to go on practice mode to just chill out. I don't like the fact that I have to keep running to pick a ball up, since there's only like 5-6 balls to use.
I remember in 2k11 when you went to practice mode, it showed all the moves you could do on the spot. you just had to press select to make it disappear. I'd like that too in nba 2k13.
I don't wanna keep going to the menu to find out what moves I can do.
training with the legends is too slow, sometimes you just wanna go back to remind yourself how to do a certain move.
can you guys tell us what % hotspots give? a shot tracker will help us on practice mode.Comment

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
To me, they can really make the game so much better by just improving things options / settings wise. The association is the most important mode because you can be the owner, the GM, the coach and the players and move through years of full seasons. However, there are some simple things that could make the experience so much better. It is time, because it has been 13 years since the first game and there's still so much that is lacking.
- The negotiating in free agency is too limited, same goes with everything involving contracts, clauses, trading scenarios (teams offering their star players for bench warmers), getting the teams' pick situation right for the next 10 years which shouldn't be so hard, being able to have a protection on a pick, amnesty clause for teams who haven't used it in real life etc.
- Also the impact of a certain coach on a team which now doesn't make any difference. Also have all assistant coaches in the game or at at least have the one that is in have some kind of an impact.
- Make simulation more realistic, not winning by 40 over a team like the Lakers and losing by 30 to the Bucks and having made 16 threes, players getting 50 points who would never get it in real life etc. Also the most stupid thing is when you have a player on 40 minutes and some on 0 and the first plays 28-30 and the one you have on 0 plays 10 :S I have a lot outside of gaming and I can't play every single game so it needs be adjusted.
- have team chemistry actually matter and NBA scouting should be more in depth so that when you build a team where players really fit well with each other and complement each other, your chemistry is actually high and makes a difference. Now it's high when you win and seems rather random. This would stimulate making smart moves instead of creating randon super star teams.
- i like the assigning of player roles but they need to have more like 'veteran' or 'specialist' who are content with lack of playing time. There's too many times when you trade for a guy who expects to be a starter or the star player. The same with rookies who you start but all of a sudden want to test free agency and not sign an extension, though they've started every single game in 1-2 years.
- the retirement system needs to be reworked because so many times I've had a veteran like camby sign a 3-year extension and he retired 9/10 times after the 11-12 season.
- have next year's draft class ready as accurate as possible so at least you have 2 years fully accurate as far as rosters go.
- Also the contracts like non-guaranteed deals for training camp invitees should be in so you can take on more than 15 players and can cut them before they are guaranteed.
- having players actually ask for a trade when they're unhappy, having the ability to make them happy so they want to stay (clauses in contract and other ways like promising a certain amount of playing time, which then is also the case in simulation!).
As far as in game I would love a few things:
- have the ability for a player to taunt (like in boxing games), throw a fit after a bad call or in a positive way have a player ask for the crowd to cheer (which needs to be timed well, you can't do it after a turnover or bad play obviously!) which would give your overall team an energy boost / increase of stamina.
- what follows of course is the ability to have technicals, flagrants and suspensions following a game. A button to commit a hard foul, not the already present grabbing, would be nice. To send a message to the team they should think twice before attacking the basket.
- have the ability to adjust speed of a pass or is this already in?
- have the ability to pass while in the air on a rebound to start a fast break
- have more options as far as fakes go, so head fakes or faking a shot and quickly bringing the ball back when a defender is running behind you to take the shot, a quick head / pump fake and then attack the basket etc. I hope this is now close to possible with the new stick moves.
- have two different buttons for blocking and jumping. Many times you jump but don't want to guy to swat just yet so some way to make a difference so you can more accurately time a blocked shot would be nice.Comment

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
Online when somebody presses start and changes his settings, please give the other guy the option to do aswell. It makes no sense to sit there and hear the sounds of the other guy making adjustements. It will save everyone's time.Comment

Re: Official 2k13 Wishlist Thread
This thread is the prove of how vastly superior the PC is. The PC version of 2k12 already has entire new leagues with accurate uniformes, courts and jerseys, you can even play association with old teams. You guys should try it.Comment
