    How to rebuild Celtics?

Just need some ideas. Only player I won't trade is Avery Bradley. I don't mind trading Rondo, Pierce, Allen, Garnett, anyone except Bradley. However I will only make a maximum of two trades and 1 FA signing.

Keep Rondo. If you want realistic trades, you can trade garnett or allen with teams with cap space for picks and some prospects. (You can trade pierce too, but dont go and trade everyone from the big three.) You'll want a legit center first of all.

Any recommendations? Honestly, I want to rebuild over a few years, but the draft classes are so highly-rated, that I can never play more than 2 years in franchise.

Does he though? Also, what would I get in return for a PG? If I want to rebuild, Billups or Williams won't help me much.

Depends on how he does I suppose. but no Williams and Billups isnt the long term answer but they can get you through the year until you draft whoever you want and develop your young players. seeing that they already have CP3 I wouldnt trade them Rondo

Who would you trade him for?

Also, if trying to get rid of players under contract over a year (so Rondo and Pierce), who would you trade them for?

Many people might disagree with me, but I say you trade Rondo to the Thunder for Westbrook. Even trade, and the Thunder need a PG who is more of a pure point, instead of a shoot-first PG.

What are you trying to do with the Celtics?

Do you want to go straight into rebuilding mode, or do you want to trade some older players in order to get younger talent so you can hopefully win now AND in the future?

What do you want their identity to be? Fast-break oriented (D'Antony Suns)? Smash-mouth (Current Bulls)? Balanced (Thunder/Mavs)?

Since Perkins, Ibaka and Sefolosha are not scorers i disagree that Rondo is a better fit for that team. They need Westbrook to score. I think a better fit is Sacramento. Frederette is not a given at PG at all. Evans is better at SG. Alot of young talent which is what your after as well.

I'm open to anything, I really don't care. I'd prefer to blow it all up though, but at a realistic rate...like I don't want to go and make 5 trades in one season.

If I do blow it up, I definitely would prefer to get draft picks. If possible, I'd want to get a lottery pick for both '12 and '13, as I really like the entire '12 class, and I really want Shabazz Muhammad.

If you want picks, Rondo is about your only tradeable asset. You won't be getting lottery picks for Pierce, Allen, or KG.

If you want to clean house, I would at least keep Pierce. He deserves to retire as a Celtic, and I think he wants to. KG and Allen could possibly be traded to contenders who need a scoring presence (Allen) or a defensive stalwart (KG).

How about a guy like Tyrus Thomas? He could be a good addition to the Celtics.
