    Re: How to rebuild Celtics?

He still can play Defense, Pass, steal and create. And in the game he is 87, and just you can build around him.

Any suggestions on how to REALISTICALLY do it?

Not sure about you, but if i was starting a Celtics chise, i'd keep Rondo and build around him. He's in his prime, and he's only going to get better.

Plus, you have development drills, go in development and work on his mid range jumper. When you do that, not only can Rondo drive to the basket at ease, he can hit the mid range J when the D sags off of him.

This is realistic, go read the scouting reports, expert reviews, etc. He is rated as one top 5 Pgs in the GAME, period, So i am being REALISTIC.

So any suggestions on how to build around Rondo REALISTICALLY? Most I'll do is one blockbuster trade, then one minor trade, and a minor FA signing during season.

I agree Rondo is one of the best, but what realistic trades could I make with the Big 3 and Jeff Green? I like Patterson and Favors, but why would those teams trade them?

                        Re: How to rebuild Celtics?

I dont know a lot about Patterson, but that man has some potential. I know with scola as there main pf, now they drafted Morris. patterson is reduced to a bench player. IMHO, maybe offering someone like pierce/2nd round pick? for Patterson.

For you, you gain your starting PF for awhile. For them, they gain a ligit scorer and proven guy who still has some years in him. Would help them gain someone who can help them to the next level.

As for the jazz, man how many PFs/C they need, kanter, Millsap, jefferson, favors? Thats too many. Meanwhile they have NOOO good Sf at all. They would have a lot to gain with someone like Green/Pierce together for someone like Favors. Not sure how the computer will accept it, but you can see who they want for favors, and accept it

Well, with my edited roster, the potentials for players are edited, so guys like Cousins and Favors don't turn into beats. Had to do it, was too unrealistic.

just whatever you do, DO not trade allen and KG cause they are expiring contract and you can kick them to the curb. That is like what, 30 million in free cap space? Plus a legit first rounder pick, add Jajuan johnson to as a good roleplayer.

Some good Free agents in off season. Rondo/patterson (my favorite), and i think OJ mayo likes free agency, add a center, good stuff.

Also, DO NOT forget Rudy Gay, the CPU loves to trade him.

Yes, but couldn't I just trade KG and Allen for other expiring contracts?

Any other suggestions for a young player/pick I should trade for?

Only way I keep Rondo is if I can get a good young scorer, otherwise, he's no use to me. Pierce will retire a Celtic, so not trading him. So, I'm willing to trade everyone but Pierce and Bradley. Ideas?

Keep in mind I've edited potentials of guys like Derrick Williams, Kyrie Irving, Demarcus Cousins, etc.

You can also go after Austin Daye, you don't have to give up the big three to get him, you can probably give up a couple of role players.

Develop Austin Daye, he's 6'11, he can hit the three, he has a 79 3PT rating, 77 Block, 77 Hustle. If i was you, i'd try to pursue him. I know i am in my Bobcats Association. Give him development drills on his mid range / post game / inside game, and you should be good to go. He's only 23 years old.

Terrance Williams is also another young guy you can go after. Only 24 years old, not sure if the Rockets want to give him up though.

Jordan Hill from the Rockets is also young, 25 years old, big body, 235, maybe you can go after him.
