Thats what ive been doin kinda.I offer and sign as many people as i can in the free agency period then do the rest in pre season.I just like to offer guys contracts from different teams and then let them decide. It kind of gives you that element of surprise that everything else lacks.I only do 30 team associations though so i guess ill have to live with it.Dont know why they made it this way

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Ok have another question/suggestion. Think guys that are injured/suspended at the beginning of the year could be added to the guide when they officially came back?
I ask because I'm going through the beginning of the season minutes for each team and I notice a few notable players that aren't even listed for minutes. For my Pistons Villaneuva (I know he has a 5 game suspension to start and a lingering "injury" as they're calling it) and then Michael Redd (who I believe was signed later in the season) & Josh Childress on the Suns, Greg Oden (Mr. Glass) on Trail Blazers, etc. I'm not the biggest basketball buff by any means, but it'd be nice for us guys that don't follow the league as intently if it could be added to the guide when to bring these guys back in the rotations.
Childress isn't hurt he just isn't good/doesn't play. Oden is in all likelyhood out for the season.
Honestly, probably not, these players probably won't be added back... It isnt absolutely vital you follow the minute guidelines, I just wouldnt change the minutes of the stars/starters... I would adjust role players to give those guys minutesUpdates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Here's my idea,
Cavaliers get Monta Ellis
Warriors get Ramon Sessions and Anderson Varejao
It's no secret that Golden State have been shopping Ellis, and with Irving the starting PG on the Cavs for years to come, Sessions is available. Golden State can move Curry to shooting guard and start Sessions at point guard, while also receiving a solid rebounder to bolster a David Lee front court. Cleveland get a go-to scoring guy in Ellis to play along side Irving.
Thoughts? Is it realistic enough?Comment

Maybe switch Kwame out for Biedrins and take Sessions out of the trade. I think the Warriors need that high pick though as they need an high impact player coming back.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Hey guys, I have a trade I'm mulling over that I wanted to run by you guys. I'm in 2012 in my Cavaliers association, and drafted Jared Sullinger 4th overall in the draft. I also acquired Darrell Arthur in the offseason, which has left a bit of a logjam at the PF position.
I've engineered the following trade:
Cavaliers give:
Tristan Thompson
Boobie Gibson
Raptors give:
Jose Calderon
2013 1st Round Pick
I like this trade for a number of reasons. First and foremost, it puts Tristan Thompson in his hometown of Toronto with an opportunity to start, something that he wasn't getting in Cleveland. The Raptors needed a solid Forward to enter into the starting 5, and their hometown kid can play the 3 this season, and become the PF of the future in Toronto.
Their starting 5 now looks like this:
Rodney Stuckey
DeMar DeRozan
Tristan Thompson
Amir Johnson
Andrea Bargnani
Meanwhile I love the trade for my Cavs because it gives Thompson a chance to not be mired on the bench when he's way too good to play, picks up a likely high draft pick for a team still in rebuilding mode, and picks up a veteran guard that can help me contend for a playoff birth this season (and who I play pretty well with in-game).
I think it's pretty fair on both ends. Thoughts?Comment

But it could be a good and realistic trade if you add some other piece. Warriors won't let Ellis go just for Sessions and Varejao. Personally, I'd add one guard and one pick to this trade."Qui parmi-nous mérite vraiment l'immortalité ?"

After seeing Lebron leave I have a feeling the Cavs are going to value draft picks very highly, only way they can rebuild for cheap.
I doubt they would do a trade without lottery or top ten protectionUpdates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

I like the idea. Though, in my association with Bed's roster ( don't know if it's the same in real life ), Sessions is already playing shooting guard so he can play with Irving at the same time, and he is the leading scorer for the Cavs in my association.

Normally when he's in the game Gibson plays the 2Updates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment
